    Leaving this review for our salesperson, who was a breath of fresh air in this industry - Austin Davenport. He was professional, thorough, and knew his stuff when it came to the vehicle's ins and outs. Would definitely recommend asking for him if it comes to looking for a Kia on the Island.

    I ended coming back here to turn in my 2017 Kia Optima because the engine blew up, not literally but overheated and it was done. I was chatting with James, a very nice guy who sold me a used 2021 Honda Civic. I love the car I got but because I didn't have a down, my monthly is expensive. My Kia was only worth $100 because of the engine being damaged. Oh well. The customer service here is excellent but cars can be pricey. I honestly don't want to buy another car. I think this maybe my last car I purchase for awhile until my car is paid off. They have a nice waiting area with free coffee and water. A snack machine and soda machine in one. Bathrooms are located right next to the waiting area.

    Just scored a 2022 Ford Maverick Hybrid at a great price from Aloha Kia. Sales was typical with the pressure to buy today or "what is there to think about?" which I totally annoys me but I guess gives sales folks some creative freedom to make a sale. All was well until I returned today to give them a second key for my trade in but the windshield wiper flew off somewhere in Aiea and the check engine light was on. Was told that the truck had to go into the service bay and the service guy said that the truck was not ready to be released to the customer - me. Took about an hour of waiting in their nice cool lobby. Employees and sales folk are friendly even with my two dogs sitting with me. Truck was ready and wiper was installed and check engine light not lit up so cross my fingers its all good to go. 4 stars but more like 3.75 as I don't like the sales tactics or the typical finance experience of being sold an extended warranty but the guy was nice and decent and we traded stories of Big Island... maybe the localism helped me get out of there. Thumbs up for Leeward Kia. Felt I got a good deal and they were totally responsive to replacing the wiper and making a last check on the truck.

    We have been trying to set up an appointment to get our safety recall and also our window trim replaced due to defect (warranty) We have been wanting for months for the parts to come in the lack of of communication between the service center needs work. All I want is to be able to set and appointment up we have been waiting since March 28th it is now May 31st. Still no appointment set in stone. Our 2022 Kia Nightfall Telluride has had a few recalls already. I have left voicemails for everyone on the list of numbers provided by the service manager and he too hasn't called me back to give me answers. They informed us they would need to keep the vehicle for a few days (2-3days) I want to know if they will be providing a car for me to use in the meantime. Can someone from Kia Waipahu please call me back from the service department?! Update after 1 hour from posting my Yelp review: Phone call received from Mr. K (not going to post names) appointment was setup no notification I had to ask Mr. K to send me a picture of my schedule appointment for June 13th. Update after another hour I received a call from Ms. G (I'm not posting names) who looked into my request and she said my replacement window Trims hasn't come in just yet so only the EPB software will be updated on 06/13. She then transferred me over to Mr. K and sent me to voicemail.. Can I please get a well organized appointment with details Aloha Kia Waipahu???!

    I'm ready this review to warn other customers of TCA's business policies and what happened to me as…read morea customer. I purchased a vehicle used as is based on the condition of the vehicle. I did test drive the vehicle but for 15 minutes. No lights are warning signs came on. They sold me the vehicle knowing there was an engine issue and that I was shipping the vehicle an extra cost of $700 to a neighboring island. Also, because it took time for the purchase of the vehicle and organizing the shipment I incurred rental vehicle costs. A representative from TCA Auto drove the vehicle from their dealership to Young Brothers in Honolulu The distance between the two would have made the engine act up and the radiator go dry. Upon arrival the temperature warning light was already on in the vehicle and I could smell smoke. We drove immediately to the gas station and check the water and gas and filled it. I was still concerned since the temperature light was on. My daughter drove the vehicle 16 minutes and 10 mi to our home. I was concerned about her driving the vehicle I had a neighbor come over and just check everything out including tire pressure. The next day she drove the vehicle back from the house to my office which is about the same distance 10 miles and 16 minutes depending on traffic. By the time she got to our office the engine was acting up and shut off. We had another person come to check out the vehicle to find out what was going on so we could let the dealership know the problems we were having with the vehicle. We reached out to the dealership to inform them of the difficulties we were having with the vehicle. They never offered to return the vehicle and refund our money. We felt like we were in a bind because I couldn't purchase another vehicle I have multiple car loans two daughters with two loans that I have cosigned on. I made an agreement with TCA Auto so they could take the vehicle back and absolve the loan. They made me pay the return fee of the vehicle and refunded me $500 of the $3,000 I put down on the vehicle. I made this agreement so we could move forward I couldn't afford to continue paying for rental car costs and a loan at the same time. I felt like the dealership was going to drag it out and not pay me the money that was due to me based on the situation. After they've received the car and the loan was absolved I did reach out to BBB to let them know the situation. I'm warning others about this car company Do not purchase a car from them. Obviously, they have no care or concern what type of vehicle they're selling you no business ethics and customer service is horrible. All they cared about was their bottom line. I spent almost $1,000 a month in rental costs waiting for the vehicle to arrive and then once it did rental cost because it didn't work the entire time I had it in my possession. They only gave me two options They actually offered two options to take off $1,000 off the sale price if I kept it. Or I could return the car pay the return fee for shipping get $500 back and the loan absolved. Of course, that's the option I took due to facing the fact our family was facing hardship through not only paying the loan on a vehicle but also paying $1,000 a month in rental car fees. Returning it within the 30 days also saved me a lot of money in the return shipment with young brothers. It was apparent TCA Auto was not going to refund any of my money and only drag this out creating more of a hardship on my family. Do not use this company. If you're looking to purchase a used vehicle purchase it from a car dealership that has used and new cars on it. I did learn something from the experience and that those dealerships have to hold a higher standard of customer service and they would have immediately return the vehicle not charged me and paid the shipping fees.

    We had a great experience here getting a car. They worked with us on a variety options regarding a…read moretrade in and we looked at options for both new and used vehicles. The staff was great and once we had an idea of what we wanted they worked out the numbers for us. We actually looked at financing with them and they use a long list of banks in the area for financing and so there are plenty of options. Lastly, they used digital signatures for a lot of things, which made the finance portion of the sale much easier. It only took 5 hours and much if that time was looking at different options, discussing the trade in amount, and they even took over the loan that we had prior so that we don't have an extra car loan. The staff here was awesome and their customer service was great in making this a smooth transition! Buying a car is always stressful, but dealing with a dealership is always a little less stressful since you're dealing with professionals. I've bought plenty of used cars in private sales over the years and there are way too many scammers and liars doing private sales. I didn't feel cheated when I left or even a week later, because this dealership has trustworthy employees.
