Took my car in for a warranty repair of my driver seat. When i got the car back, the side of the seat was scratched right where two panels meet and the cushion not put back on correctly. I left a voicemail about it to work this out with the service lady who proceeded later to tell me the tech took a picture of the scratch on my seat before working on my car, but i guess that's fine when the tech realizes he tried taking the seat apart the wrong way, takes picture of his mistake, then finds the correct way to access the part to replace. Service manager stated techs take pics of the area to be worked before starting work. If that's the case, i only got a picture of one side of the seat and not the other side..so tech didn't follow the service managers instructions and SM sides with her lying tech. Got it. This isn't the first time I've been lied to by techs at this dealership doing warranty work on my car. Previous visit was for ACTUALLY replacing my entertainment screen and not lying about it being done the first time. Ask me how i know...not difficult to figure out if parts get replaced or not. Why should you have to worry about this coming here??? IF you do still go to this con job of a place, at least take pics yourself of area to be worked before you rely on "Certified" techs doing the work the right way, the FIRST time! First of all, we have had the life of our vehicle with this dealership and routine service checkups/changes! It was purchased from this dealership in 2019 and routinely servicing it with Cutter Ford without having any problems or complaints. With that being said, just recently like within the last couple check ups and most recently today we have had some issues with the service department. To start, the lady over the phone tried to charge us $740+ for 1) oil change, 2) interior overhead light bulb replacement, 3) AC cabin filter replacement and 4) transmission fluid change!!!! I told them thanks but no need all the extra stuff done. Soon after, they called my mom to let her know that our car was finished being serviced and that we could come back to the dealership for pick up. I gave my mom a ride to the dealership with my car because that was her car being serviced. I dropped her off around 230pm and then went home. About 30mins later I called her wondering where she was and if she was alright?!?! She said that the dealership wasn't finished with the paperwork?!?!?!? Seriously over an hour later!!!!!!! OMG this is hands down the WORST EXPERIENCE my family has ever had at this dealership and specific location! Sorry to say but we will take our chances finding more trustworthy and reliable automotive services! BEWARE BEFORE BRINGING IN YOUR VEHICLES! Read the other 1 star reviews sad! When I took my truck in for an oil change they told me it would take 3 hours. I've gotten my trucks oil changed here many times before and it took an hour at most. When I got my truck back I noticed a receipt for Bank of Hawaiian in the center console. The timestamp on the receipt was right during the time my truck was there. My truck also had additional mileage on it. So it would appear that people working here use your vehicles to run their errands when they are in for servicing. read more

Avoid working with Bill Lindsey at all costs. Working with him has been an absolute nightmare. It has been a several month long process to obtain our vehicle after delivery to the dealership. He VERY rarely would answer the phone and he never once returned a voicemail. I even resorted to leaving a message through their website that was never returned. After outside pressure was put on Bill, I received the one and only call that the vehicle was ready. Apparently it had been sitting outside his office for weeks and upon arrival there was clear damage to the vehicle with scratched plastic and a busted side light cover. A simple check before hand (or notifying me that it could have been picked up a month before) probably could have prevented this. So now I'm waiting over a month again with voicemails not being returned and no notification that it's ready. Finally get through and find out it's ready. Set up a time to come in and the vehicle can't be found for close to two hours. It was parked right in front of the main building. Then keys can't be found. Multiple salesmen looking all over and surprise, they're in Bill's office. As put by one of the other salesmen, Bill needs to retire. Buying a vehicle was A MISTAKE! PERIODT!!!! Don't get me wrong my sales person was very helpful along side his colleague. But once you get the car, that's it. Management don't care. Extended warranty's are avoided! Making a schedule for car repairs of maintenance is something they push back on. Long story short, I purchased a vehicle from them a few years ago. Being that it was night time, I had to schedule an oil change and I got a free car cleaning and wash since they didn't get to do that for me when I bought it. Took about 1 month to get onto the schedule. Left my car. Took the shuttle. Ummmm... tell me why didn't I get my car till Monday after the weekend??? Anyways, I checked the car, there was a big dent and scratch in the back of my bumper. They said it was there. I showed them photos on my phone the day I purchased the vehicle. Lady in service area admitted that one of the mechanics backed a SUV with a hitch into my car. They said they were going to repair it. Came 3 months "after saying they need to get parts". Our schedules clashed. They would need days to fix but didn't want to give me a car rental for the time being. Finally after fighting them for 1 year, I gave them the car.... My wife made an appointment over the phone for Dec 21st to have a new key cut and to replace the tumbler in the door as the key would not open the door. When we checked in, the service agent advised that the door repair had not been scheduled and she could not do the work on that day. Understanding that miscommunication happens I asked if I could reschedule for today Dec 28 which she happily assisted me with rescheduling for 9 am today. I specifically asked if I could use their early bird drop so pointed out the drop box. Last night before they closed, I dropped off my Club Cab F150 and got the very 1st spot in the line. I checked with two separate employees on where to park and how the drop box worked. The one gentleman Evan guided me to park to ensure that the gate would close. Fast forward to this afternoon when I called and left a message to check on the status. The Service Agent called me back to tell me I had been listed as a No Show. This place is so lame. Parts dept is Closed on weekends. Claims to be open til 4:30 weekdays but door is already locked at 4:29 and despite 4 people "working" behind the counter, with no customers in line or being helped... not one of the 4 employees had any integrity and opted to help someone who wasn't late. Instead they just looked at me they the glass as I checked the time. No telling how early they put up the closed sign and locked the door but it was enough time for them to get back behind the counter before closing time. Super lame. Do not recommend. read more

Took my car in for service and they smashed the front fender all the way to the door.They said they would have it fixed such an inconvenience but I trusted they would replace the fender and fix the door but to my surprise I got my car back they went bondo the dents an buff out the scratches and pull out the metal so the door wouldn't scrape.My car is 2 years old now it's crap. That is unacceptable to not fix my car the proper way especially when it was their fault.They offer to fix it again but no thank you if that's how they do business I'll go elsewhere.Traded that car in for something else and paid the deficit cause I refuse to ever own a ford again.Will write to their corporate. All I want is an extra tire because I have Ford roadside assistance and tow trucks don't want to, or don't know how to tow an electric car. I got a flat and it took 2 hours for a tow truck to come get me. Because they declined picking me up. Then 45 min to get hooked up. I don't feel like Ford Roadside is a worthwhile service. I wanted to get my own spare tire to avoid this in the future, I contacted cutter ford via chat and said they would send me a price over a week ago and I haven't recieved anything. This is a safety issue in my mind. Thank you for not caring about my safety, Cutter Ford. *Purchasing my car was problematic as our sales person left the company after we already put a down to pre-order our car and no one contacted us to give us an update. We had to call numerous times and ask other departments to have a sales person return our calls. When you put down more than a few thousand I expect some professionalism. This is our first time coming back to ford after 3 Nissans and this whole experience is disheartening and I DO NOT feel like they value our business. They are going through company restructuring and all the new people we talk to do NOT show aloha. Hawaii is too small a place. I brought my 2023 Mach 1 in for an oil change service back on November 2023. Technician left a huge mess to the point when I parked it at work my general manager told me that he thinks my car was leaking oil. Brought it back to have it cleaned immediately. Brian Ayala was very helpful as a service manager to ensure that the mess was cleaned up checking to make sure everything was tightened up. Today I brought it again for it's 2nd oil change. Same results! My HOA is very strict with handing out fines for oil stains in parking spots. I spent 20 mins decreasing the oil left from the oil change on my under tray. Also found the oil filter hatch bent pretty bad. As a former mechanic, Im very OCD with inspecting work after completion. It's extremely unsatisfactory to see a mess after an oil change especially after waiting an hour. The technicians need to have a better understanding that customers pay to have work done properly. Which include cleaning up oil spills made during an oil change. The amount of oil that came out from the rinse at home using a large amount of degreasser is really concerning. How unprofessional are you to take customers indo, and you don't even know the rule and regulations for appraisal and can't give me the appraisal unless I would buy a new car?. which this sales rep really don't have any idea interms of appraisal. Worse service department!!! We went for one particular problem with the parking sensor. They completely ignored this. They lied and said they disabled it, but next day, no change, still malfunctioning. They refused to run diagnostics on it even though it was what we were scheduled for. They overcharge for other things. They said headlight was out, I don't think it was, but they needed to replace for safety check pass- so I said ok. $350 later, our problem was not addressed, but did oil change and safety check- only other things we came for. They also charge just to use credit card- it cost me $10 extra to use credit card. Hope to never go back and never buy a car from them again. read more

Cutter Ford absolutely wasted 3 hours of our time after the salesman said they were willing to honor Ford's offer to sell an in-stock Bronco at MSRP and $2,500 Ford rebate. We clearly explained our situation, and David said the manager would sell it at that price if we could provide the email from Ford. I would strongly recommend against purchasing the Ford Explorer. Nothing but problems. Long story short...from day one i had problems with my transmission...4 months later, I'm told I will needed a new transmission. 3 years later I'm still having problems with my transmission...my cars been in the shop numerous times and the same problem exist after each visit. Tried working directly with Cutter, but all they say is to bring it in for service...I asked about the lemon law, but was told that it is too late.... even though I've had transmission problems from the beginning. Even reached out to Ford Motor and was told the same thing. When putting vehicle into "drive", the vehicle would jump forward like I had been rear ended.... then as I drive off, the vehicle remains in first gear and doesn't shift gears. I have to pull to the side of the road, turn off the vehicle, then restart the vehicle to reset it. All im told by Ford is to bring it in to be reprogrammed... Don't buy a Ford...very nice and comfortable vehicle, but not worth the headache. Im in law enforcement and other officers told me that they're experiencing the same problems, along with a few others. Word is already spreading around the department to stay away from Ford. read more

My car seat broke. the Process was awesome. My associate was able to look at my warranty and actually found it is covered As my initial call to them made the warranty cut off time. It was pretty seemless and they even had the replacement part in stock. They gave a spot on estimate of time it will take. the car was in great shape upon pick up and they always cover the seat when working on it. read more

Part came in about 3 weeks in February or early March- made the appointment to get the part installed the same day they called and told me they received the part. Appointment is in May. No problem- I get it it's a long wait- (Let's not talk about the fact that when the lady made the appointment she said she didn't know how to book an appointment for that so she made it for something else) but we are now in the month of May and what do we receive? An email saying they canceled my appointment, no reason why- just sorry we just canceled and would look forward to servicing your Ford please call to reschedule. Thanks but no thanks. This morning was not a good morning. Having some issues with my truck and I scheduled an appointment using the online tool on Sunday (10/9) for service at 0800 on 10/11. I get all the notifications to confirm that my appointment is for 10/11 at 0800. This morning I get an email notifying me that the appointment has changed to 10/26 0800. I call the service department (SD) to find out what is going on. The SD states that they tried to call me at a work number that I no longer work at (I retired 6 months ago). The lady on the phone states "that's the number in your email to us." I go back through the appointment scheduling tool and confirm that in fact I did not put in an old work number. Then the lady says that their online scheduling tool is wrong and that the appointment that I received was for a person that is not an advisor and does not take appointments. Recommend fixing your online scheduling tool so that when customers need to schedule an appointment, they actually get an accurate offering. Very disappointed. With my problem being a possible transmission issue, waiting 3 weeks for help is not acceptable. read more

This is just related to my most recent experience. I needed to get new tires and alignment. After many emails and phone call misses () I got an appointment and had a great deal on the tires (). It was quick and I was out after a short wait (). I was told my alignment paper was left on my front seat () and I wrongly assumed that if something was wrong, it would have been explained to me. Also, I didn't look at it before I left (my fault). When I got home, I noticed a before and after adjustment that remain in the red. I called to understand why and got another agent who said they don't work on my type of car () then an email saying they don't have the paper (). I asked if they could obtain a copy of the paper from the tech (why is this not in my file?) so I can understand the red portions and I got another email saying they don't have the alignment paper anymore (). For me, explaining what an outcome of a paid service is would be helpful. I'm not a car person and I still don't understand what the issue is (). read more

Customer Beware! My car took over 5 months to fix with an increase of over 1100 in the estimate. Your team needs to be more responsive some managers are untrustworthy. The communication between your team and Ford Mainland is dysfunctional at best. I would not recommend your service to anyone. As the customer, I felt like a middleman in your negotiations with Ford Mainland and completely disrespected my time and money. As a manager in my field I would be embarrassed to treat customers the way your organization feels is normal. I plan to make a Google and Yelp review to warn customers of your practices. read more
