$20 for a pedicure for a 5 year old and all you did was soak her feet and change her polish? What a mean joke. My two daughters and I chose this place because they have special child seats, Unfortunately, they don't have child prices. The place was clean and the service friendly for a nail salon, but they ripped me off on a child's pedicure. I have never paid more than $10, including the flower for my 5 year old anywhere. I liked the place but my nails have never been done this bad. I went in for full set and pedicure. Within two days pedicure polish was coming off and the following day one of my nails lifted. I'm a week out from when I got my full set done and five other nails are lifting. I've had my nails done elsewhere and my nails lasted for several weeks, I'm not happy with the quality of work here. I was expecting a better experience. Initially left with great looking nails but I'd expect them to last for more than four days. read more

By far the worst experience at a nail salon ever! I showed a picture of the simple French tip I wanted with the ring finger glitter. Instead it looks like clear nail polish with glitter everywhere! And then she offers to fix them but I tell her I have no time & she leaves it alone. I honestly wanted a French tip and got something I could have done at home. I have an event tomorrow and now have these awful nails! Never again. read more

First. Always shady when there are a million signs everywhere to tip in cash. Hmmmm.... Second. My nail tech, I believe his name was Peter didn't even clean my toe nails. Ugh! Isn't that a main reason to get a pedi done so they can clean everything up for you! Then he painted my toe nails with my sandals one and got nail polish on them! I could have done a better paint job. He kept having to clean up around my nails and still left nail polish on my skin. I also got a gel manicure and my nails are crooked and the get is on my finger. Salon is hit or miss depending on who does your nails. Last time that I went one nail wasn't even completely polished and the ends had not been filed smooth. They are cheap but you get what you pay for. read more

I feel ripped off. My mom and I had similar experiences here with Linda. We both went in for the $14 fill they advertise yet were charged about twice that. She insisted our fake nails be taken off (which of course there's a charge for despite us not wanting them off). Then I was charged an additional amount for the pink/white substance that's always put on my nails prior to them being painted? I've never been charged extra for that anywhere else. When I was told the final amount for my subpar manicure I was confused as I felt like the price just kept going up for things I didn't ask for. Also my corresponding nails are uneven in length - why is my left pinky nail much longer than my right one? Linda seemed nice and was lovely to talk to but I was quite disappointed with the outcome for the price I paid here. You're better off going somewhere else. read more

I've been going to Darling Nails for about four years now. My mother has been going there for about seven years and she is the person who recommended I check it out once I moved to Phoenix. It is a very comfortable place to receive nail service. The only technician I'll let touch my nails is Helen because she hands down does the best job. She always gets the cuticles and my normal gel set lasts at least 3+ weeks. The thing I also love about Helen is if I'm not satisfied she won't hesitate to fix them! Holly does the best pedicures my polish always looks smooth and shes very creative with designs. Everyone is generally friendly, only thing is make sure you set an appointment or else the wait can get agitating! read more

Would not recommend this place. I went because I had a coupon in the money mailer and I should have turned away when he told me that the coupon was not the right price, it was for 14.99 shellac nails. Told me it was $18. He then kept trying to convince me to get acrylic nails put on, I kept telling him I only wanted my natural nails painted. The language barrier always gets frustrating. Then I showed a picture of what I wanted my nails to look like and he just painted them the base color I picked out and didn't do anything else even though I asked in advance (all I wanted was glitter on the tips, shouldn't have been too hard). Figured it wasn't worth arguing over paid and left. When I got home and examined my nails there was paint already pealing on the sides because he painted on the skin on the side of the nail, a couple of my nails were still so jagged and uneven I couldn't stand it! And today, less than a week after having them done, my thumb polish has almost completely pealed off. Never have I had a lower quality job done on my nails. Will never ever return. read more

I went in on a Saturday afternoon it was a little busy. Ended up waiting for an hour just to sit in a pedicure chair without any water. I waited for another 20 mins before I decided to leave. Maybe the wait wouldn't have been so bad if the A/C was turned on. Also, while waiting an eternity I noticed a giant bug on the wall, only to find more when I used the restroom. I work in a customer service based field so normally I understand things can happen. However, they should of at least said the wait was over an hour or even offered a cold beverage. Lady convinced me to get a 50$ set of nails. I wasn't familiar with this type of nails process. I asked for teal ombré. Not sparkles. She started off with sparkles. Thought it would look different dry so I let her proceed. Before putting on the acrylic she never even filed my nail! Literally just clipped the tip of the nail off and started putting acrylic on them. They started off rough and jagged. Then she applied a million coats of this acrylic started to file it down and realized it wasn't dry then out more acrylic on it and then she messed up the design of the ombré she made a face like "dang I totally messed up again" but didn't fix it!! Finally she finished and they were already closed and the owners had somewhere to go that night so I didn't bother with making her re do them that night. Basically I left with AWFUL nails. Truly terrible. So thick, it was hurting me how thick they were. Wrong color, awful shape they were all crooked. I was seriously upset to look at them. I called in the next to complain about what happened and they told me to come in the next day. WHAT??! No. I told them to just give me my money back and I'll go somewhere that will fix them for me TODAY. Then he said okay come in today and he'll fix them. I finally just wanted normal nails just plain black tips. So that was only 22$ I had to ask him for my 38$ back because you just walked in the back after finishing my nails! And he gave me a store credit which I will NEVER use. He got mad at me, and said it was my fault they were wrong because I didn't speak up. AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL CUSTOMER Service. He even turned away from me and walked away without listening to what I was saying. Do not give "john" your business. He treats customers very rudely! read more
