I came in 2 hours before closing and asked for the most expensive pedicure service. The whole time they were rushing and not taking their time/spilling and dropping things. When it got time to file my nails and cut them, she dug into my ingrowns which i specifically asked them to be careful with. I was in so much pain and continued to ask them to stop but no one spoke good enough english to understand me. When she painted my nails, the color i chose was not the one being put on my toes. I asked for a lighter version because they used a neon pink. She had to call 3 people over to understand me and it took 10 minutes to translate what i was saying. Before paying they quoted me 80$ and when i got the front desk she said it was $110 which made no sense. She said it was an extra $20 for gel and still could not understand me since no one spoke english. I'm also writing this 2 days later as both my big toes where they were digging into my ingrowns have become swollen, red, and large. I'm going to have to go to a podiatrist if it doesn't feel better. The older male tech did an amazing job on my pedicure! I have never had the callous remover treatment done so thorough. He was intense on my massage and got in there, on the bottom of my feet and I enjoyed it!! My feet were knotted and he could tell I needed some relief! I personally like the girl who did my nails. The other lady who did my daughter's nails not so much. We both got the same things done but my daughter was done 15 minutes earlier than me. As we sat each other getting our pedicures done, I could see the lady rushing through my daughter. She was suppose to get the message with the stone but never did, asked to remove calluses for extra cost but was not done right, her nail length was different & more of what you wouldn't expect. My girl did an awesome job. She removed all/any calluses, message & etc. I carried on a conversation with her when she started doing my nails. She seem very smart & very independent. She is making money to support herself through college. She shared little bit of her personal life as she took care of me. My daughter started askin questions & got to know this girl little more. I went and I thought I was getting the same color on both my toes and fingernails because they were in the same pkg. Turns out one was hot pink and the other orange. I told them and they insisted they were same color. I said no they're not. I had even given a really good tip. I asked a few people and everyone said nope they are different colors. I just dropped it because i didn't have time to argue. Anyways I went again bc they're convenient to my house and lo and behold I got the same person. Well I could tell she recognized me and she was giving me dirty looks so when she was taking me to the chair she started talking to the other nail tech in Vietnamese and I could tell she was talking about me. I gave this place a try because I was going out to eat at a restaurant nearby. I was even beyond disappointed. This location doesn't comply with the new SNS rules. My tools were not sterile and they lady I had do my sns with a tip placed my nails super crooked and did a rush job. She was drilling too much and too fast that I actually have so many dips and lumps in my fingers. I just left the salon and I already need a fill. Definitely don't recommend. I went back today, and while they agreed to fix them without charge as they should have- not two hours later- they are falling off yet again. Do not waste your money or your time going here. I have been coming to this place for years. I usually call ahead to make an appointment. One my first call today for an appt I was told 6p and I booked it. Then I called two hours later to be told the same person I asked for was open in :45 mins; 2p. I made my appt time to be told by the male appointment setter, "she has an appt already, I have you at 6". To which I replied I know I set my first appt for 6 then Called again to find out you said there was a 2p opening. Needless to say he figured I'd choose another tech, ha! I'm not someone who usually posts reviews but I had to let the community about what's going on here. I went to galaxy for my first set of acrylics. The girl who did them did not listen to anything I said, and the majority of my nails ended up popping off by day 4. So I thought to give them the benefit of the doubt and try again. However when I went in, and told the manager about what had happened, they proceeded to make me wait a full hour (I was not a priority at all). And when I finally got seated, the girl who had done my nails the first time came up and proceeded to call me a "liar" and tell me that she does great work and it was my fault. As the appointment went on, the girl ended up cutting into my actual finger behind my cuticles in several areas and now I have an infection. I HIGHLY recommend NOT going to galaxy because based on my experience they DO NOT value their customers. read more

I understand that I have shorter nails and asking for an SNS gel is difficult. However, the way the nail techs worked here didn't even come close to the way others have been. Even after asking to fix the errors, I was still left with gel all over my skin, patchy gel on top of my nails, and a misshapen pinky. When I asked if they could do a gel top coat under the UV light (like all other nail salons I've been to), they told me they couldn't because they're boss wouldn't allow it. No massage with my manicure because someone else came in she was friends with and I was left to dry my nails solo. So incredibly disappointed in my nails. Will never come back here. read more

I am not ever one to complain about things but I have never been to a nail place that has done such a messy job. My experience with this place was horrible it was my first time yesterday 09/14/2019 and I got gel polish on my toes the first girl cut me while cutting my cuticles (as you can see on my pictures) and thinks I didn't realize she just put pressure on my nail to stop the bleeding she did not say sorry or anything. Every time she went to go put the light over my toes I felt her scraping the nail and I even told her at one point you are placing it on top of my nails you're not putting it above my toes correctly and she said sorry for that but then I think she realize she was messing up and she told me that someone was going to come back to finish the coats. The Second nail lady came and started to remove all the gel nail polish and started to do my nails all over while she was doing that the first girl that was doing my nails was watching her and was laughing...on my right foot she didn't take off the gel polish completely like she did to the right foot but she took off the gel around but not the center. She "redid" my big toe only but as you can see from the pictures they did not clean up around the areas my toes and the reason I am speaking up about this is because in total I paid $49 for my toes and to see they are chipping and to see the work the next morning when it hasn't even been 24 hours is driving me crazy that as a company knowing that there employee messed up they didn't even offer a discount or even apologized for the work in the customer service. I always go to Elite nails but wanted to try something different but I have never walked out of any nail place with toes looking this way. read more

There too long and I kept asking her to shorten them. She was constantly filing my cuticles with the electric filer till it burned. Glad I stopped in here! It was super busy as it was the day before Mother's Day. They were very welcoming and were able to squeeze me in for a pedi rather quickly. The nail tech was really nice and did a good job. My only complaint was that she nicked me when cutting my cuticles, but I get that that happens sometimes. I always make an appointment, yet they rush their job. The pedicures used to be relaxing and now it just seems like they try to get you out ASAP.
