We happened to come across this place while driving around the area and, since we always enjoy…read morefinding a new brewery, decided to stop in and check it out. I'm glad we did. Sometimes the unplanned stops end up being the most enjoyable part of a day. The outdoor area was a big part of what made the visit enjoyable. There's a really nice outdoor bar with picnic tables, lawn chairs and games, so you can grab a beer and actually settle in for a while. When we were there, they had a band playing live music and the whole atmosphere was lively without feeling overwhelming. It was one of those afternoons where people were clearly there to hang out, have a few drinks, listen to some music and enjoy themselves. They had a decent selection of beers, and what we tried was pretty good. Nothing I had was quite at the level where I was immediately thinking about buying a four-pack to take home, but everything was enjoyable and well worth trying. For me, the atmosphere was almost as important as the beer itself, and this place definitely delivered on that side. The staff were also very welcoming. Our bartender outside was particularly friendly and talkative, and it made the whole experience feel much more personal. I always appreciate that at a brewery. You don't necessarily need a lengthy conversation every time you order a beer, but having someone behind the bar who genuinely seems happy to talk with customers makes a difference. They also serve food, although we didn't order anything during our visit, so I can't really give an opinion on it. We did hear good things from other people there, though, and there seemed to be plenty of folks enjoying the food along with their drinks. We really enjoyed stumbling across this place and would definitely come back, especially with some friends. I could easily see spending a summer afternoon here with a few beers, some food, live music and a group of people. It has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stick around rather than just have one drink and leave. A very good accidental find, and one we'll be happy to revisit.

I love twin barns. I would rate it a 5 but they only had 4 out of 12 beers on draft. It has a super cute elevated barn feel as the brewery is literally a barn. They have a Biergarten and cornhole, the only downside is you cannot do a flight and go to The Biergarten.

What a view, what a great meal! Wanted something light for…read more"Linner" we ordered the margarite pizza and the Mac n cheese. Hands down this pairing go together like "Donny n Marie" The mac and cheese was rich, thick and creamy. Topped with a crust. It came with a bed of greens for some ruffage and 2 crushing. The pizza was good and used the crust to wipe up the creamy cheese off my plate. Very delicious

If you don't like crowds though, be prepared - this is always a tight one. I love big crowds and busy spaces, personally, so I was in my element! * If you want a sitting spot (for example at one of the tasting room outdoor tables) the reality is that you'll have to show up at 10am or even before, for the 11am opening, and wait in line. Live music was on all day and it was fun to watch people in traditional costumes dance! I loved the merch this year! The Oktoberfest mug is beautiful. Also got a tile, tee shirt, socks, some cans... As for the beer offerings - I admit I am not a beer drinker. I pretty much only drink beer from Schilling - but I've learned a few things from them and going to their fests... I don't like pilsners and light beers at all, or any "fruity" flavors. I love IPAs, and I can do marzens and darker beers. There was 50+ breweries represented at this Oktoberfest, some from as far as Germany, and a couple of Quebec and Ontario breweries too! All volunteers were friendly and knew their stuff. Overall this was another great day, with once again the weather on our side. I attended with my boyfriend (on a designated driver ticket) and a friend from town, and we all had a great time! I'll be back for Oktoberfest 2027 :)
