Large twist cone. It's very skinny but I do appreciate the cherry on top.

Bumblebee 4.2/5 Would definitely get this again. It was delicious! Large Twist Cone: 2.2/5 Would not reorder. It was tiny & the Ice cream wasn't very creamy. Price: 3.5/5 Just under $8 for a large cone & a shake.

Snicker sundae!

This ice cream shop has been around since 1964! That qualifies it as a town gem in my opinion and a local favorite. They have so many great ice cream combinations, milkshakes, sundaes, ice cream cones as well as coney dogs, bbq sandwiches, steak sandwiches, soups, etc. The snicker sundae is my personal favorite. They have a drive - thru as well as a nice walk up ordering windows. All the staff were wearing masks. It's not far from the Crawfordsville town square and courthouse.

I came all the way to Crawfordsville, Indiana 45 min away for this smurf ice cream. My friend said it was better than kings island smurf ice cream. Since covid shut down that opportunity I figured I had to. Couldn't find a single photo of said ice cream so I figured it was a must to come. It was delicious!! after scoping them out for months to make sure it was worth the drive I figured I would try the coney dogs the people talk about. Also pretty good! But I loved the ice cream! Definitely a great choice if you're in the area

Nothing makes me happier driving through Crawfordsville than seeing the Dari-Licious sign lit up. Like a beacon, it draws me in every time. Opening in the middle of the polar vortex, I can remember times in the past where there has been snow on the ground, and I've been bundled up in the car munching on my ice cream. Today was one of those days. As much and Levi and Lacey wanted to run and play on the jungle gym at Turtle Park, and as much as they begged and pleaded, we stayed in the car where it was warm eating our sundae's and slurping our shakes. Okay.. so maybe they were just as cold as the rest of us and didn't even bat at eye at Turtle Park.. or maybe it's because you could barely see it over the mound of snow that had been plowed from the parking lot. Either way, we were there for the sweet frozen treats and not the playground (this time.) This year marks the 50th anniversary of Dari-Licious being open. To thank their customers, DL will be offering various 50% off specials throughout the year. That's what the sign said anyway, although it didn't elaborate on what the current special is. Maybe they're just trying to start some buzz about it.. I grew up with this place. When I was in preschool (I think I was 3) I remember walking down in a single-file line with Sister Mary Clarence (okay, I can't remember her name.. but she was a nun..) leading us for orange sherbet ice cream. I also remember Grandma and Grandpa loading us up in the mini-van and taking us for ice cream some evenings here. It's one of my favorite childhood memories. Ironically, now *I* load Grandma up in the car and take her for ice cream. A lot has changed, but the Dari-Licious remains the same. Shine on Dari-Licious sign.. like a beacon for those of us who need ice cream!

I saw the great reviews, so I was really looking forward to grabbing something cold on a hot day. When I pulled in, I was impressed that there was a park (10 and under) just for the customers of Dari-Licious. Even better, there wasn't any line as the person ahead of me got his order and departed. So when I got my medium sized chocolate dipped cone, I was hoping my luck would continue. But unfortunately, I got a shrimpy little amount of soft serve with a splotchy chocolate dip. And the dip didn't even freeze! I had been looking forward to the that crunch as you bite through the frozen chocolate dip....but there wasn't any crunch. The flavor was fine and the ice cream didn't melt all over, but compared to a lot of places I've been, the sizes were really small. Maybe they think only kids eat here? Look, anyone who complains about the prices of the cones hasn't been to too many places (I paid nearly $4 in Pendleton a week ago for a medium cone.) But, when a medium looks like it couldn't get any smaller, something isn't that competitively presented. I wanted to like my dessert, but it was disappointing. Review # 981

Ok ice cream, nothing spectacular. Beware: the kiddie cones are itty bitty! We loved Turtle Park though, the park for customers only.

I had honestly never heard of it until my boyfriend (who is from that area) asked if I wanted a Bumblebee shake.

The great Yelp reviews led us to this little restaurant just west of Crawfordsville. The restaurant…read moreis not fancy, but had a good hometown vibe. When we entered, we were told to sit anywhere. We passed several un-bussed and dirty tables before finding a spot in the back. In general, the place could use a good cleaning and a facelift. They seemed to be understaffed with one server running around. Our service was good with glasses full, orders taken and a covered milk cup for my granddaughter. Food came out relatively quickly. They serve breakfast and lunch. The menu is broad with lots of tempting options. My husband had the patty melt, which he loved. The burger was juicy. The fries were ok. My granddaughter had the kid's chicken tenders with fries. The chicken was battered and delicious. Her meal came with a large glass of milk. It was a winner. I had the BLT. There was a generous portion of bacon on the sandwich, but some of the bacon was undercooked. I ended up pulling out the undercooked bacon. I should have said something, but I didn't want to make a fuss. There's plenty of parking.

The restaurant is small and homey. Our server was very friendly and attentive even though she was quite busy! She checked in on us several times while enjoying our food. We ordered coffees while reviewing the menu and decided on the 2 egg basket (2 eggs of choice, toast, choice of meat and hash browns) and the haystack. Our food came out quickly and was hot. This is the perfect breakfast spot, I am looking forward to stopping in for lunch sometime!

Wow what a find!! Thanks YELP!…read more Went here for a business dinner on a Wednesday night. Only a few tables occupied. So the place was not noisy at all. Also no blaring music in the background which I really liked. We were waited on by Sarah. Just an awesome individual. So friendly and attentive. Also cute as a button as the old folks say. :-) She guided us through the menu and also made a few suggestions which we went with. We started with an app - cheese curds served with a sriracha dipping sauce. There is no way I was in Indiana. :-). The cheese curds were legit! They have a solid drink menu. We got the bare knuckles porter and an espresso martini. The martini was fantastic. No actual espresso so no caffeine. Not bad! My main was a BYO Burger. A top 10 burger for me. Smashed style and cooked perfectly with the lacy, crusty edges. I got the following - cheddar, bacon, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, fried egg, jalapeños and fried egg. Absolute money! For a side I got the truffle fries ($5 up charge) but well worth it! So damn good. This place is a gem and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. I hope to be back to the area to try it again.
