I love everything about this place except for one thing -- the wait time for your food. Other than that, I love the atmosphere and local feel. I love people watching through the large windows and the downtown location. There's plenty of street parking and nearby lots available for easy access. I fell in love with the Monte sandwich on my first visit and haven't looked back. It is a huge sandwich, definitely big enough that you can get full on half of it and save the other half for another meal. The bread is perfection. I have tried many of their soups, and the creamy turkey tarragon was excellent today. I'd love for it to come with some crackers, but it's also perfectly delicious on its own. The service is good as well. Always an enjoyable experience!

Passing through for lunch and we were intrigued by the peanut butter sriracha beef wrap another reviewer mentioned. It was darn delicious. As was the special, two sausages topped with onions and apples. Both salads were tasty too. Sweet little place

The food was delicious, service was good, but it was terribly expensive. The place was ambient.

Delicious sandwich! I loved that they had salad as side options with no up charge. The Monte was great, loved the combo of pepperoni, roast beef and cheddar. Bread was fresh and thin! I got a whole sandwich, but a half would have been better. Wife loved the turkey avocado melt. Great service, reasonable prices. A definite lunch stop!

Food and service wasn't good at all but on par for what you seem to get in Crawfordsville

Lobster quesadilla! Yes, please! Lobster quesadillas in a quaint little town-I'm impressed! The flavor of this did not disappoint either. It was very tasty! At first glance, I was concerned because the filling was very minimal. It was very very flavorful and definitely enough lobster filling. The pico was extremely fresh and I've enjoyed having the peppers and jalapeños in it. it was not too spicy, it was just right. I also did the up charge and got the Tom Thai soup. They asked if I wanted crackers or bread. I was thinking is that a question? I very cheerfully stated, "I will take the bread!" Even though the bread did not have a lot of flavor, it was fresh, warm and very comforting to eat. This will definitely be a new place I will be stopping at any time I'm in the area. The only reason for the four star is, I also ordered an unsweet tea and they forgot to put it in my bag. (All drinks are bottled-no fountain drinks) therefore, I had to turn around and go back and get it. Thankfully, I was only a few blocks away when I noticed it was not in my bag.

What I will say is it will NOT be my last. Tucked in the corner with plenty of parking, this place is the perfect spot for a breakfast/brunch with really good options even for those that may have dietary restrictions. I arrived around 8:15am, and there was just maybe two couples there, and one person that was working. I toll had a little work to do before my meeting started. There was plenty of seating, light easy listening music (the 80's) playing. Not loud so if you needed to take a call, you could. My server was efficient. She wasn't overly friendly, but she was certainly efficient. If you are a coffee drinker they have a ton of neat options to pick from. They also have a bar, so if I weren't working I probably would have added a little something to my coffee. I will be back, bringing my family and friends!
