Unimpressed. Mediocre, pedestrian selection, indifferent staff. Look elsewhere.

First time at the store. Good selection, some material at reasonable prices. We bought three…read morevariety of tile for several rooms we are tiling. No issue there. BUT the deliver service they use (think it's a third-party company not theirs), are absolutely the worst. Delivered several broken boxes, won't take back, told my wife it's our problem and it's our responsibility to take it back to the store ourselves. Insane !!! Quoting the driver " we are third-party company, I am telling you it's broken so you know, but we can't take them back, you have to take the broken boxes back to the store" really ???? Anyways we put them in the car and a nice young man at the Waltham Store assisted her in unloading them and exchanging them. We got charged a good fee for the delivery, and for them not take stuff that's broken seems backwards. We dealing with heavy boxes here, and expecting the customer to schlep these boxes *heavy boxes* back is ridiculous. Had a discussion same day with a female associate about reimbursing us for some of the delivery fee , who said she will look into, did not hear back. We went to the store today and a manger by the name of Michael, listened, was very sympathetic, was aware of delivery issues with this delivery company, apologized and was able to assist us with our requests. THANK YOU MICHAEL for listening and taking appropriate satisfactory action !!!! Side note, this delivery company also can't haul the trash from the delivery (wrap, boxes, etc.), they leave it for you the home owner to take care of :( So becareful of the delivery service, double check all the boxes at deliver time!

As a professional tile installer I was estatic about this store coming to Waltham. I went there the…read morefirst week it opened to look around. Saw a lot of nice tile and noticed that they even carry tools and other supplies needed to install tile. The most recent visit will probably be last time I will visit this store. This was the second time I was not able to get the item I was looking for. One might think that a simple hole saw for a standard shower diverter valve would be available, but no. They carry some other sizes that no one uses so they probably think the market for hole saws is not profitable. Well if you don't carry the size that people use, it won't be profitable. Great for a homeowners who just want to look at tile. But for a professional installer they just don't work. Anyway they can run their business their own way and I wish them luck.

I have a great time coming to Home Sense to browse their selection and I often get inspired by it…read moretoo. They have a lot of classic staple pieces which is great, but I love how they also have super unique and colorful pieces too. It's very similar to Home Goods but slightly nicer and more expensive (understandably). I most recently came to check out the Christmas decor with my friend and we both left with a basket full of merchandise. We had so much fun going up and down the aisles! I'm still eyeing that skeeball machine! One day Sophie, one day.

Around here, I checked out the Westwood location and it was also well-stocked and organized, and the Framingham location definitely has all the qualities of the other stores. The physical space has more of an "industrial" feel to it, but if you need a sofa or something else that is too large for Home Goods, this is your place. They also have multiples of items, so if you see one chair in a Home Goods and need two, you might luck out here. They also have all of the kitchen, linen and decorative items you need, and nice employees as well. Stop in when you are in the area and check out this store along with your Marshall's and TJ Maxx shopping!
