Our dual-coat Australian Shepherd never looks better than when he goes to Dapper Dawg for a bathe and haircut. He always smells wonderful afterwards and the cut he receives is simply gorgeous. I was disappointed to see some poor reviews, but when you look at them, they appear to be years old. I am a new puppy owner and took my cocker spaniel, Benny, here for the first time a couple months ago. I did not know what to expect but this place is GREAT! The staff is so friendly and the cost is very reasonable. I checked out other places for pricing and information and they were not as friendly as the Dapper Dawg nor was the pricing as fair. They take very good care of the dogs while they are there and you get a feeling that they treat your pups like they were their own. When you walk in they take the time to ask you how you would like your dog groomed; they really take the time to make sure you will be happy with their work. They do a fantastic job and my pup always looks great! We have since been back here 2 times and will not go anywhere else. read more

Our dog was appointed for grooming and a trim. She was ulteraly SCALPED! She was sheared like a sheep. We are so disappointed and upset. We will NEVER use this dis/service again. If I could I would give zero stars. read more

I have never done this before with any business I made this yelp account for this business. My husband brought our mini schnauzer here for the first time last week, since then it has been nothing but problems. Razor burn on her tummy, in between her legs, bumps on her back nearest her tail and non stop scratching. Not to mention the eye infections, yes both eyes, and swollen infected ped on her front left paw..... I would NEVER tell anyone to go there.... I have been bringing my pomeranian here for the past few years, and i love it! He always comes out looking great, and the staff are all very friendly. I now have a second dog, a skittish puppy mill rescue, and he doesn't mind going there at all, which I think is a good sign. There is plenty of parking, as it is located in a mini strip mall, and the days/hours are very reasonable. Two thumbs up! read more

Unless you want your dog SCARRED for life and when I'm telling you scarred my dog would let me do anything to him before, bathe brush etc. after our experience with this place I'm not able to even get a jacket on him!! I don't even want to know what they did to my poor Baby. Also my appt was at 8:30, they didn't start grooming until at least after 2. And when I called at 4 when they closed, they told me "oh yeah he's been done we forgot to call" and didn't pee him that whole time my poor baby was crying when I walked in there, then hid under the bed for the rest of the night. So unbelievably upset the worst thing you could ever do is bring your animal to this horrifying place. read more

We have been taking our two girls, (Harvanese) to Dapper Dawg for more than 8 years, back to when Jasper was there. My dogs love Shelly and she treats them as they were hers. They are happy, peppy with no anxiety when I pick them up. For me there is no other place to go. read more

Melinda, the groomer, did a fantastic job and neither dog came home traumatized after a few hours with them. Prices are very reasonable too! read more

This review is late....But, like they say...better late than never. This place is horrible! It was a great salon when Jasper owned it. I took both of my German Shepards there for six years without any issue. But, now under the new management it is terrible. My last visit with my dogs included baths, hair cuts and nails. The "usual" grooming that I would pay for two dogs. First, I get them both & neither one smelled like they were even washed, haircuts were horrible & their ears were both dirty. When I got home and saw that their ears were still filthy, I called to inform them of this & they were so rude like it was my fault that they didn't do their job. They acted as though I was lying! I took them back to clean their ears the following day-not only did they grab one of my dogs so harshly by his collar, but amazingly all this dirt was noted on the cotton balls when they "recleaned" them. Furthermore, my younger Shepard was so scared of baths, it has taken me a year to gain her trust. So, in my opinion, something must have happened there. Their poor customer service, rudeness, lack of skill, harshness of how they handle the animals and just plain laziness is why I took both my dogs out of there. Again, six years there when Jasper owned it..never had a problem. Place has gone downhill under the new management. So, If you love your dog, do not even consider this place!! read more

My elderly bachelor uncle went into the hospital, and I got stuck taking care of his springer spaniel. I don't know the first thing about dogs. But my aunt and cousins helped me whenever they could. We took Mada to the vet and got him checked out and also got all his shots, then we decided he needed a good grooming. I found Dapper Dawg through Yelp and liked the reviews. I called on a Saturday before a long weekend, and they said they could take him Tuesday. My aunt and I dropped him off not knowing what to expect. Wash him, clean him, trim his nails. I had no idea. Repeat, I don't know dogs. When I got the call that he was ready, I couldn't believe my eyes! This dog was really hairy and cute when I brought him in; now he's sleek, trim and HANDSOME!!! And I think he knows it! He won't sit still for a moment, as he just wants to keep moving, probably due to lack of drag (physics, not cross-dressing). I couldn't be happier with how Mada looks. When my uncle goes into rehab in a few days, they will allow his dog to visit. He won't believe how fabulous he looks! Thank you, Dapper Dawg, for making Mada look as fabulous as he should rightly feel! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GROOMER. read more

I have taken my dog to this establishment for quite awhile. I have never had anything but high regards for the way they have treated both my dog and I. There are times when my dogs hair gets out of control and has had to be trimmed way down . This shearing as some say is caused by lack of full care on the part of the owners. When i read someone say that it was the groomers mistreatment i think it is more of a reflection upon the dog owner for being completely lazy. We take our mixed breed terrier here for grooming. They do a great job with him and he always comes home looking and smelling great.

Fantastic place for dog grooming, the owner and all the employees are always very nice. I've been using them for almost 10 years, always happy with service. When I had to put my first dog down, they sent a sympathy card and asked if I needed anything. Also when I got my new puppy last year I came across the frequent customer card, I asked them if it could be continued from almost 3 yrs prior. My dogs have been going to this grooming salon for as long as I can remember. My childhood dog, Zoe, (a GWP) absolutely loved getting groomed and all the love and attention she received when we took her here. Now as an adult I take my border collies to the Dapper Dawg. Border collies are known for being nervous about new people, new dogs, and new situations and my two pups are no different. The people who work here are just amazing with them. They are so kind and gentle that both my dogs were able to calm down and feel comfortable enough to go with them and be groomed. Even this morning, a busy Saturday, the gentleman working was willing to sit on the floor and talk to and pet my dog until he calmed down and was comfortable enough to leave me and walk back to the grooming area.
