So far, our experience was pretty good. The food quality was high, flavor was delicious, and everything was fully cooked and made right. We had the spanakopita, the mix and match plate, and a gyro bowl. The spanakopita was a lovely texture, with the right flavors. The mix and match plate was enjoyable and offered a nice variety. The gyro bowl was great for offering plenty of gyro meat. We also bought a side of that spicy orange sauce (which tastes amazing!) Taste the Freshness! This is my second time coming here and both times the food was cooked with perfection. What I appreciate is the freshness of everything, from the lettuce, tomatoes, to the shrimp and chicken. The owner happened to be, stopped by our table asked if the food was good and made sure we were taken care of. If you're looking for good Greek/Mediterranean please don't try here. I paid $18.99 for a surf and turf and got both hummus and tzatziki and let's just say out of the entire plate that I enjoyed.... We haven't been here in a while. The prices have gone up considerably. The staff was great. Very nice and all smiles. The food was a different story. We had the spicy chicken pita with fries. The spicy was completely absent from the pita as was the flavor, even salt. Tzatziki can do only so much. We explained that we'd like more fire feta as we couldn't taste any. Perplexed why this is place is only 3 stars. My parents love this place so they brought us and this is what we got: Gyro--delicious, my step dad said it was packed with lots of vegetables so he felt like it was healthy lol. Spicy Chicken Pita--I absolutely LOVED the chicken pita sandwich, the best ever! Next time I would probably ask for just a little of the feta sauce as I thought it was a bit overpowering. The chunks of chicken were marinated and cooked to perfection, with ample juiceness. My Mom got the hummus with pita wedges and she & my daughter got the falfael sandwich. They both loved theirs as well. My son got the hummus plate and he couldn't finish it there was so much food. It was amazing, according to him. Also got the free Baklava pastry for the Yelp check in and it was super tasty. Great place for vegans! Really loved DAPHNE's in Rocklin- went there once a week, just delicious food- fresh, tasty, healthy, with Harissa sauce that is one-of-a-kind out of this world. Very bummed to see the Rockin location close because of pandemic- they hung in there for nearly the entire lockdown but somehow it just didn't work out. I know there's a lot of really disappointed people because of it. Pet peeve.... dirty tables!! The way the sun was hitting the tables at 6:15pm in September I could clearly see there wasn't a clean table in the place. Regretting my "Eat it here" statement. Not crowded. Kind of slow. Two out front two working in kitchen that I could see. No one... really could wipe down tables? Not a priority at all. Got my hummus and chip (bits)... really $3 for broken bottom of the bag chips and hummus. Couldn't eat all my hummus as I had to glue chip bits together with hummus. Mediterranean chicken salad came and it was beautiful. Chicken a little dry, but dressing and moist salad made it OK. Dressing is some bottle stuff that isn't that good. The kicker is the salad HAD red onion. I asked specifically if the salad had onion. The cashier read the menu item to me as if to say, "if you'd read the menu you'd see there are no onions." I have tried this place for the third time. I really wanted to like it. Today I went in and the menu options had changed, items were out. Note- The "spicy" red sauce they offer is sweet and makes no sense. The pita was more like a salad in pita bread. The hummus and pita starter was good but the hummus was super cold. The cooks did a good job preparing food is the reason for any stars at all. For checking in with help you get a free cookie or baklava. The cookie was hard as a rock. What appeared to be the owner came in while we were eating. We found it very odd that he literally just stood around and watched the workers. At one point 2 young woman began unloading boxes of food from his car. He just stood there no help at all. Poor workers! Hopefully they find a better employer. Didn't have much luck in the past, but lately the food has improved greatly, the portions are once again generous and nicely displayed, the rice is now fully cooked, and the meat is tender once again. Also, especially better is the service. Don't know who the extra friendly and attentive new gal is, but shes a keeper, great service on a recent Friday evening and on Wednesday , the 20th late afternoon. My combo plate chicken & euro meat was excellent but my brother's salmon meal was bad. He ended up eating only 1/4 of the fish so I suggest if you'ld like to try the fish to stay away from it. Again my combo was great so that deserves 5 stars. My brothers meal was not so good 2-3 Stars. read more

We used to always eat at the Daphne's location in Rocklin. But it closed and there was a new one in Roseville. I figured it would have the same good food. I was wrong! We ordered fire feta fries, spanakopita and chicken. The fries were soggy and inedible. The spanakopita was greasy and tasted like the fries! And the chicken was little bits of burnt meat. Don't eat here! Both of the girls working in the back touched raw chicken and then went to make a salad. You will get food positioning that way. I told the girl who took my order, she refunded me before my order came out, thankfully. The hummus came without bread and when I asked what I was supposed to do with it they said they didn't know, but some people use it for their gyro. They had no Gyros. I wasn't allowed by the app to give a lower than one star rating. When I went to get my soda from the fountain, the soda fountain was covered with ants. When I told the worker doing prep she gave me a dumb look and told me " yeah they're coming in from the door" then walked away. I pointed out to her that ants were crawling all over the soda nozzles that dispose of the sodas. She then looked at me like I was dumb! Finally when I tried again and the person with me tried we had ants falling into and swimming in our drinks. I wish I could had taken a photo of it. I again got clueless looks and no sorry and no offers of bottled drinks. I told them that they needed to shut down the fountain. All I got, again, was looks like they didn't have a clue of what to do. This should be reported to the health department. First, there were ants falling in customer drinks from the dispenser nozzles. Second, the workers didn't seem to see anything wrong with this and did nothing to correct it. The food was blah.....and I've eaten a LOT of Greek and Middle Eastern food. They had a spicy sauce on top that is very good, and for me to say that it means it was not very spicy at all.
