Farshad visited our home to provide an estimate on some exterior work we need done. He was frank,…read moreand seemed disinterested, when we said we were seeking the best price & value for our work. He said his company is more expensive than others, and his staff speaks English. We asked for an estimate for some work, and advised we were going to get a few others. He said to show him the other estimates and then he would consider if he could beat their prices and do the work. He said his company is very busy, and selective about the jobs they choose. I think he was just looking for $$$. He never sent an estimate, and when I followed up with him about it, he said, "I thought you were going to send me the other estimates, so I could see if we could beat their price." I think he wasted our time, and felt we wasted his. I did not think this was good customer service at all. Their work may be great, but you cannot be so dismissive to potential customers.

I called Ipsen construction on a Thursday and the lady on the phone said she could have Ryan, the owner out the next day, Friday at 2pm for a quote to have some doors installed. 2pm Friday comes and no call saying they are on their way or running late. I attempted to call both the office and Ryan's cell phone and received no answer. He ended up showing up at 2:10 which wasn't that big of a deal. But good customer service would have been to call and say they were running late. He looks at the work to be done and says he will have the quote to me the next day, Saturday and could do the work the following week. Saturday comes and goes. No quote. I call that Monday and the lady at the office takes my email again and says it will be over in the next day or two. I don't get it for a week later. And it was incorrect based on our conversation. I emailed back with the corrections that took 3 more days to receive an updated estimate. I have called the office serval times in the last week looking for a start date. They never answer their phones and they do not call back. Don't waste your time with this company, they will just string you along.

We embarked on an extensive Kitchen/Laundry/5 bathroom remodel with Griggs and his team in 2015 into 2016. From start to finish, we received nothing but professionalism, skill and well thought-out advise. Aaron and his staff displayed a wealth of knowledge and we developed a great relationship with excellent communication. We believe each of his subs were the very best the region has to offer. Each with a strong attention to detail in their area of expertise. As a testament of our faith and trust in their work, we realized that we did not have to oversee their work on a daily/weekly and basis. We left the job in Aaron's capable hands halfway through the project and went back to the Bay Area. We visited and checked in regularly but had faith the job would be done to our expectations in our absence. At the end, we have no regrets in doing so. Now that the job is complete, we are thrilled with our new home. We also know that Griggs will stand by their work going forward. We are lucky to have found a Fine Home Builder with Integrity!
