Berry and his team installed a metal roof on our Gambrel in fall 2023. We reached out to him earlier in the year and he was transparent that he was booked out for the next few months. Once he had capacity he let us know and we worked through scope of the work/roof options etc. He was patient as we decided what we wanted and timely in his communication. I also appreciated his suggestions, including moving from a flat roof to a slightly sloped one. During the work he shared regular updates and sent pictures when we were out of town for periods. The end product was finishing on time, looks fantastic, and we've made it through the first of the season's rain/snow with no issues. I was looking for a contractor to replace windows in old cabin and got randomly connected with Berry on Yelp. I did not have any references or recommendations so was skeptical in the beginning. Berry had made a lot of suggestions on how the job can be completed in a very approachable budget and time frame. So I decided to engage on a bigger remodel of the cabin, which included demolishing second (attic) floor, insulating it in a best possible way, putting room walls back up to code and refinishing ceilings with wood. Communication was excellent, Berry understood right away what I am looking for and how it can be done. I did stress out that this is an economical project so budget is the key. Berry assured that it can be done and there will be no `surprise` expenses. Well as any old house remodel goes we faced quite a lot of surprises and unexpected chores. But Berry was helpful to suggest workarounds where possible or point on things that must be actually fixed to ensure longevity and quality. All in all it took one or two weeks longer than planned (winter weather was not helping either) but I got great results. And more importantly we did not blew up the budget and kept all in my ballpark. Big kudos to Berry for keeping the estimate and invoices transparent and without surprises. For fair review here's one positive and negative feedback. Negative probably is the number of times Berry reminded me how old and crooked my cabin was. In a town where it can be difficult to even get a call back from a contractor, Berry was awesome about taking care of my issues promptly and professionally. We had some ice dam damage to our roof last winter. Berry was able to pull the damaged shingles, find matching ones and replace them, 40' up on a steep roof. While he was here I had him install a new chimney and splitter for my wood stove. He went above and beyond blocking for strength and sealing around the opening. Since that all turned out great I went ahead and had him replace some deck railing and window trim that had gone missing last year. Very happy with his services. I had an open seam under the edge of the deck that allowed snow and rain water to get into the garage underneath. Berry was very knowledgable and able to diagnose the problem right away. He has done a meticulous job fixing it and added extra metal cover and roof shingles to make sure it won't happen again. I used Berry and Centerpoint builders to renovate my entire Tahoe Donner condo. Our place had not been upgraded since it was built in the 70s. Since I wasn't living up there at the time of the renovation coupled with the fact that my place hadn't been upgraded at all since being built, communication was key. We had our entire place repainted and both bathrooms and kitchen completely gutted and renovated, and a small outcrop wall removed. We also had a fireplace mantle and surround installed. Berry was very good at communicating in a timely manner and letting us know of problems and/or potential problems. He consistently informed us of any changes or recommendations he thought would be a better alternative or solution. He worked within our framework, wants in appliance, cabinets, sinks, etc., and budget even though we had a bunch of work changes, which can (and almost always does) increase the cost. All in all, Berry did a great job and we love our "new" place - he worked within our budget, communicated in a timely manner, kept us informed about problems, and went beyond to make sure our renovation was to our satisfaction. read more

The front of our house was pretty damaged as it faces south and gets hit with a lot of sun and weather. Berry did a great job of replacing all the boards, the trim, as well as fixing some issues related to weather/waterproofing which couldn't be seen from the ground. I thought the price was reasonable and the work they did was excellent. You could really tell they tried to get the trim to sit perfectly and took pride in their cuts.
