Perfect install.....even went beyond expectations. Rare to commend a contractor but their professionalism was so unmatched I had to post this read more

I had a very good experience with Marco. We have a metal front gate whose electric mechanisms were all shot and outdated. The gate itself is older, but basically fine. He did everything we had agreed on and a little more. For instance, he thought it would be a good idea to extend the existing keypad arm a little further for convenience. It was his idea to make it better and additional cost to himself and beyond what was required. He also adapted his schedule to mine, which I appreciate. I would gladly do business with Marco again. read more

Always responds promptly. Gets the job done. Knowledgeable about system. Bills fairly and promptly.

Dear Neighbors, I just had a 300+ foot fence installed by D-Fence Inc. around the back perimeter of my property to keep critters out and pets in and an interior deco fence within the fenced area. Marco and his crew did an amazing job and exceeded all of my expectations. If you find yourself in need of a fence, I highly recommend that you give him a call. https://d-fenceco.com 530-401-4179. We are very pleased to leave this 5 star review. Marco was wonderful from the first meeting. He did changes we wanted as the build progressed. His crew did a great job. We saved so much money. We got 5 bids from local fencing companys. DFence was the best value. By thousands. The hardware on the gates are impressive. We did not choose neighbor friendly fencing. We have dogs and felt the need to be able to monitor the Coyotes in the area. We recommend DFence for all your fencing needs. Thank you Marco & crew! read more

We are so very pleased with our experience with Marco and his crew. Marco and his crew built custom stone pillars and automatic double driveway gates for us. Marco was there to oversee the project every step of the way, consulting and communicating as the project continued. He has an eye for excellence and detail which is so valuable to the quality of the finished product. He has our full recommendation for quality workmanship and is an absolute pleasure to work with. I had a problem with my gate, so I reached out to this company. The owner showed up and did some troubleshooting. He narrowed down the issue, but said he would need to come back to complete the troubleshooting. He then charged me $120.00 dollars for the troubleshooting and said that would also cover the troubleshooting when he returned. He returned the next week, after me calling him several times to get him back. When he returned, it took him and his worker about 20 minutes to figure out the problem, which was a bad splice in the ground with the gate wiring. He fixed the issue in about 15 minutes. He then said he didn't have time to do any other work as he was heading to Reno and left me the mess you see in the picture. He then charged me $250.00 for 15 minutes of work. His price was outrageous and the mess he left was less than acceptable. He and his worker could have finished this in about 30 minutes as it took me 45 minutes to complete it. I would never use this company again as they are unprofessional and rude. "The picture speaks for itself". When I asked him why he was charging me $250 for 15 minutes worth of work, he said you're paying for my expertise not my time. This is what $370 get you with this company !!!!! read more

10-Star Service! Marco and his team did a fantastic job on repairing my 40+ year old 1200-foot chain link fence - on a cliff! I interviewed several contractors, but Marco was the only one who knew exactly how to stop critters from digging under the fence - and do it in an economical, innovative way. He also stood out of the crowd because he was knowledgeable, direct and definitely had the age-old "customer is right" attitude. The project was a tough one - on a steep "cliff" to put it mildly - but he and his team plugged along, asking questions and making sure I was happy all along the way. He also installed some electric fencing in a way to keep outside animals from climbing up the chain link fence. His team took the time to change the entrance part of the fencing to black, which meant extra painting. But, they did a great job and with the new chain link black screen, the fence looks brand new - yet affordably done. His team fabricated custom gates and already my neighbor has mentioned not only how nice the fencing looks, but loves the gate on his side, which is actually one of our favorite parts too. Marco took the time and effort to make the gate slant down the slope and reinforced it like a tank! It's the silver gate in the pictures. Marco was great to work with too because of his sense of humor. He laughed at my nonsense jokes and I feel like I made a new friend - not just another contractor to do work. Overall, I'm very happy that I hired Marco and his company D-Fence! The work they did was involved, yet they took care of small details too. It's obvious that Marco and his team take great pride in their work - it shows in what they did with the fence! Very high quality with good value! And, by the way...I'm a very picky, hard-to-please-type of person. Marco took my requests in stride and found answers. He's number one on my list of people to call for help! I hope you enjoyed this review and will call him too! read more

Extraordinary customer service, great attention to detail, and a reliable work ethic deliver solid value. Marco is an exemplary small biz owner, very responsive and always accountable. He installed extensive 7' ornamental iron fence with 6x6 redwood posts (which he hand-selected) and 7' field deer fence, and he helped with our existing solar-powered gate. Highly recommended for fence and gate work. read more

D-Fence was a fantastic experience for our first time getting automatic gates to our property. Marco made it seamless and his guys did a wonderful job putting everything together. So very happy now a couple months later. It was also a very good value with all the extras offered and some just included. Cheers Marco and D-Fence Crew!!! read more

Marco did an excellent job communicating, instructions and installing our gate. Highly recommend

From start to finish Marco and his crew were exceptional (shoutout Jaime.) They worked extremely hard and got our project done exactly as planned. Not only did they provide a high quality of product and service, their pricing was very reasonable. We couldn't be happier with our fence, highly highly recommend D-Fence for all of your fencing needs. read more

I've hired many contractors over the years and I'm usually disappointed. Finally, a great one. As a retired manufacturer I'm picky about things, When it was time to build 800' of horse fencing I searched out 10 estimates. D- Fence wasn't the lowest bid, but he was 30% lower than the highest bidder. I chose Marco because he was prompt, professional and offered ideas for my project. He squeezed me into his busy schedule. He started on time, worked everyday with his crew and completed by the promised date. I couldn't be happier. His crew took care of my property and cleaned up very well. They almanufactured (2) custom steel gates for a very reasonable price and they matched the fencing as well. I made some last minute angle changes and they were happy to accommodate me. I couldn't be happier. I would highly recommend D Fence to anyone in search of a great fence contractor. I contacted D-Fence after a car plowed through my field fencing and caught fire. Rather than just replace the damaged portion we decided to replace the entire fence on our 5 1/2 acre property. I had several contractors come out and while some provided quotes, others flaked out and never did. One contractor said he needed to come back and refresh his memory on what we discussed while walking the property for an hour. No thanks, lol. They were all mostly close in price but I decided to go with Marco's company D-Fence. Marco was extremely helpful in helping me decide which was the best way to go as far as fence type and more importantly, incredibly friendly and responsive. Best choice I could have ever have made! Marco went above and beyond in all facets of the project. From providing numerous quotes to the insurance company regarding the damaged portion to dealing with a not so friendly neighbor, Marco handled it all with great professionalism. The best part? The fence and gates are perfect. Additionally, the project was completed in a timely manner and his crew was respectful of the property leaving it clean after every work day as well. The contracting world need more people like Marco out there! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

I recently worked with Marco from D-Fence on a couple fencing projects. Great communication and follow up. Great job of answering questions and making suggestions. No pressure on taking his quote. Completed the job on time and looks great. We have already discussed the next fencing project. I highly recommend D-Fence. read more

Fantastic work, very personable and competitive prices. I would recommend them to anybody...really!! Marco is a great fence builder.

D-Fence just completed enclosing ~4 acres for our farm to keep the deer out. The main guy, Marco, was great to work with - easy to reach by text; met all our calendared dates; and was nice to interact with. His crew was also great. The fence is very straight. They also managed well in our trickier spots (eg around boulders). I greatly valued his years of experience in helping me determine the height that has worked for deer in *our area*, gauge of wire and which was better for us between wood and metal. His bid came in under the four other bids I gathered yet his materials quality were better than two of the others. On top of that after he measured the completed run, he dropped the price as the total length was less than I had predicted. His crew did solid work with the pedestrian and work gates though I decided to go with a higher end gate for our main entrance (from Black Barts). If I have another fencing project Marco would be my first choice. read more

Came out was friendly and professional and gave us a reasonable quote on our job. We signed a contract with the intent of having the work done in mid-April. Mid-April came and went. We called six, that's right six times to get an idea of when we could have the work done. It's June and we have NEVER received a return phone call. All talk and no action. Marco is good people! I saw the excellent reviews and gave him a call. Marco told me up front that he was really busy (August) and the fence and gate I wanted would be delayed for a couple of months. After discussing what I wanted, I was given a fair estimate for the work to be done. Since the time frame given to me was acceptable, I waited and I'm glad I did. Marco was always in contact with me, prompt, courteous and he gave me a fence and automatic gate to be proud of. He and his guys do excellent work. I highly recommend this company! read more

Cant say enough great things about Marco/D Fence! Quality work and materials, looks nice!, fair pricing, fast & efficient and reliable! Thank you! Thank you! Appreciated the input/recommendations when we werent sure what we needed in a couple of areas. I had approximately 400 linear feet of six-foot high black iron fencing installed by D-Fence around my backyard and garden perimeters. It included a 16-foot wide gate opening (two eight-foot sections) to allow for travel trailer access, a 12-foot wide gate opening (one eight-foot section + one four-foot section) to allow for truck access in back of property, and three general access four-foot wide gates. Marco/team did a fine job and I had no issues. The fence lines were straight and the pitch followed my slightly sloping yard nicely. All gates were sized and welded on site, and all fit/looked perfect with their latches. read more

D - Fence was one of 3 bids I got to put in deer fencing. 2 things made me go with Marco and his crew. First, he listened and understood exactly what I was looking for, made excellent suggestions of the most efficient and cost saving measures. Second, his bid for the job was the best concerning time and materials used. I can only "second" what the other reviewers have said. Marco and his crew are professionals who only use the best materials for the job, time and cost efficient, and who take .pride in their work. This was one of the smoothest contracting jobs I have experienced. Yelp was spot on with all the 5 star reviews. Thank you Marco for the wonderful job. read more

We were absolutely impressed with the fencing work done by Marco and his crew. The built 590 ft of deer/rabbit fence, two gates and fixed a pipe fence so it look like the tree never hit it. D-Fence installed around 600 linear feet of 6' iron fence with a few gates. 3 years later the fence is perfectly straight, the gates function 100% and the black finish looks like it did the day they installed it! I hired D-Fence after obtaining several quotes from local contractors. Marco is very polite, great at communicating, and always shows up when promised. He had great ideas and practical solutions. D-Fence gave me a competitive bid, offering better quality materials - including metal upright posts, and screws for the pickets, (rather than nails that many contractors use.) The end result has far exceeded my expectations. His crew worked efficiently, quickly, and accurately. They installed over 220 feet of redwood fence and 12 ft. wide driveway gates. I have received many compliments from the neighbors, and I am delighted with all the work. I will not hesitate to call D-Fence for my future fencing needs, and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs a fence and / or gates! read more

Marco and his crew did a marvelous job for us. I contacted a number of other companies for our project and I felt he was the only contractor that truly "tuned in" to what we needed and made solid recommendations for how to be to achieve great results. ALL the fencing contractors seemed overly busy and many never even returned calls but Marco was direct and upfront with the timing for our project and the start date occurred just as he committed. I have no hesitation recommending D-Fence, they're pricing was very fair and his honesty and quality of construction is outstanding. Thanks Marco! read more

At first I wanted a wood fence. Marco explained to me that metal would be a better option as we would eventually be stuck with the same problem - wood rotting and needing to be replaced. I was concerned about horses bending the materials - he put a top rail. He listened, completed the work on time, did a super job, they went an extra mile to make sure I was happy with all the hard earned money I paid. For value, I did get a better deal than the other 2 companies who gave me estimates. Marco assured me that if I should find anything that needs attention that we missed or if I had any questions I could call him. This made me feel super confident as with animals and being in the wild you never know what could test our new beautiful fence. I totally recommend this company! read more

A Huge Thank You to Marco and his crew for doing an exceptional job on installing 750 Ft of fencing and two gates for us for our horse ! I had called several local fencing Company's and No one was as prompt and professional as Marco at getting back in touch with me in a timely manner . I being a business owner myself , know how hectic it can be when your work schedule is super busy and even if you don't have time to take a new client , It is very important to call that potential client back ASAP . Word of mouth is your best advertisement . Well here I am and cannot say Enough nice things to describe D-Fence Fencing Co. We contacted the Company and Marco returned our call that same day and came out the next day to go over things and give us ideas and two days after that , he had a quote for us . Marco walked the whole field with me and had great recommendations on things I could do to more suit our budget . He even didn't blink abut having to clear some brush and Big blackberry stands to run the fencing . Where we needed the large gate , is on a hill and he put in a custom gate that does not have any gaps at bottom and opens beautifully on the hill to where we can get the tractor in . The crew worked diligently for 3 1/2 days and Marco was right on our budget ! We are so happy with our fence and Will For sure with out a doubt hire Marco and his team to spruce up our 20 acre horse pasture in the near future ! Great Job D-Fence !!!! I could very easily rate this a 5 star company read more

If you look through my reviews, you may feel I am easy on the companies I deal with. In fact, I am not. We have just been very fortunate and have done good research. After the recent storms that hit Northern California, we had several sections of a two decade old fence get knocked down by high winds. It had been in the back of our minds to replace the fence for increased stability and privacy, but we had budgeted for other work to be done first. With the damage done, we had to reprioritize this work and quickly. We sought three separate bids and ended up going with D-Fence. We were concerned about getting the work done quickly because we have dogs that run around the back yard, but they had several weeks of work lined up. They indicated that they would do what they could to speed things up but we knew we were a few weeks out at the minimum. Yesterday, we got a call from them early in the morning saying that weather interfered with their ability to work on another project so they could work on ours. We agreed, delighted. Two days later, our 80ft long fence and new custom gate are up, beautiful and exactly what we wanted. The team was professional, friendly and, most of all, exceptional at what they do. They finished when they said they would and came in on budget. We quite seriously could not be happier. It's obviously early days on living with the results, but we do not expect any issues and look forward to working with them on future fencing projects. read more
