Tyler promptly came out to assess the damage and even though they have lots of work scheduled, Tyler and his crew were willing to fit my repair job in on a day after completing a larger job. I'm sure the crew was tired and hot that late afternoon but, everyone was friendly and polite. They worked hard and did a beautiful repair that blended in perfectly. Tyler showed genuine concern about keeping our costs low and we are very pleased with the great value and workmanship. This was our first experience with M & S Fencing and we would highly recommend this company. Garry & Mary Gunderson, Yuba City, CA

An adjoining fence with…read moremy neighbors was replaced, and I had contacted them during the process to inquire about a gate replacement. The owner was very responsive. However, the next day that was not the case when I contacted him regarding damaged property that had been incurred near the fence during the fence replacement process. It's been nearly a week and I've sent two messages, both of which have been ignored. The irony is that it was just a broken garden statue, valued around $100, but they never even asked what happened. It feels like they were too afraid to respond or inquire about my concerns. The lack of accountability, responsibility and communication regarding property damage is upsetting and I would hope that in the future this owner would at least want to respond and know what occurred rather than ignore potential future clients out of fear of owning up to what was ultimately just a small mistake.

I called Twin Rivers to see if I could get a price to leave it for the remainder of the projects timeline. After leaving numerous voicemails I finally got a response a little over a month later. Twin Rivers quoted me at $1,088.00 for a 3 month period for 680 feet at $1.60 a fence panel. Another company quoted 680 feet at $1.65 for 6 month rental $1,122.00. This guy is a rip off. Check around before you deal with this company. I then asked when he could remove his fence because I was going to save a lot of money by going with a different company. He responded with telling me he was busy for the next two weeks. Later that day he was removing his fence from my job site. I think he was upset I went with the other company and wanted to leave my construction project with no temporary fencing. Luckily I got a fence in by a good company the very next day. BUYER BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY. THIS GUY IS A PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE CROOK AND WILL TRY TO SCREW YOU OVER IF THINGS DON'T GO HIS WAY. NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL.

I got several quotes and KAL was affordable and timely in his response. The quote and contract were all online so it was easy to review, refer back to, and share with my neighbor so we could make a decision. The work was also good. I wanted metal posts, redwood boards, and to make it modular so if a section of fencing broke for whatever reason (kids, mostly), I could easily replace a 2x4 and/or fence boards. February 2024: After some of the great wind storms, another section of my fence had pretty much blown over. We were able to reset the lines to increase my backyard (yes, I got city permits) and he was great about marking out the PG&E and other lines. He took care of that and other things that didn't even cross my mind. With that, I now have a larger backyard, the fence looks great, and I've had friends and neighbors comment on how great it looks. Overall, if you're in the Placer County area (Auburn, Meadow Vista, etc.) and need a fence, I'd recommend giving Kirk a call.
