We've been here a few times now...really enjoy the atmosphere w one of the best, and biggest pools in KW. Awesome waterfall and a fountain for good circulation. And it's FREE (as long as you're buying food/drinks). On the subject of drinks....they just need to do better here. They're pretty weak, to where we questioned alcohol even being in a couple of drinks. And they're a little pricey. The rum and pineapple we had was super watery (as the pineapple juice was cheap) and certainly not worth the price paid. Had one of their buckets too...again...heavy ice (water) and light on the liquor. We talked to several other groups that said the same. Stick to beer or shots. The food is really good, and the service is great as well. They prob only have about 20 lounge chairs so if you want that you'd better get there early. Some of their round table has "Five person minimum" signs which was a bummer for our group of four. read more

BLUF: good food and exciting vibe I went with a large group for dinner on a Friday night. We had their seafood sample platter as an appetizer which had shrimp, oysters on the half shell, and chips and ceviche. It was all very fresh and the oysters are about the media so I've seen in a long time. Several of us had the grilled lobster tail which was done just right, and even the salads were good. They offer rum buckets their #1 seller was my favorite and I can see why. It was pineapple, passionfruit and orange rum with other juices. They also sell high noon buckets! Not to mention their food... I was blown away. Better than some of the restaurants that I've eaten at. Their teriyaki wings are the best I've had! Food was overpriced and terrible, but the way we were treated by the staff was even worse. The staff was extremely rude, and our experience left us feeling that we were treated differently because of our race, as confirmed immediately by the people of color who worked there, who ultimately came over to confirm viewing the discrimination in real-time with us and many groups of color before. The situation became disturbing when we witnessed our personal belongings being thrown in the trash without our permission by staff. When we addressed the fact that personal property had been discarded, they contacted the police who were on-site, to remove our group, instead of taking accountability and resolving the situation. What made this experience even more concerning was that we did not see any other guest having their personal belongings thrown away. We left feeling disrespected, unfairly treated. Between the overpriced food, rude staff, and the handling of our personal belongings, I would strongly caution others before spending their money here. read more

We ate lunch here yesterday- they had covered tables which was great. The server was great, and we swam while we waited for our food. Portions were big- I had the chicken tenders, the bbq sauce and honey mustard were 10/10. Really cool place, enjoyed eating here. My husband had a key wester sandwich that he said was good, and another couple shared a tuna wrap that was also tasty. The food was good, but the service and management were unacceptable. After we paid our bill and left a 10% tip, the manager came to our table and questioned us about why we didn't tip more. We had only ordered four items, and the majority of the bill came from overpriced drinks. A higher bill total due to expensive alcohol should not automatically entitle staff to a larger tip, especially when the service was nothing exceptional. Being confronted after payment and made to feel guilty for our tip amount was extremely unprofessional. I've never had a manager approach my table to challenge a gratuity, and it left a terrible impression on our entire group. Only five chairs." What made this more preferentially noticeable was that the table right next to us had six chairs. When we pointed this out, she said she could do nothing about that and still removed the chair from our table. The interaction felt dismissive and unfair. When we brought the situation to the manager's attention, he was nonchalant and passive, which only added to Made us feel more unwelcome. So we chose to spend our money elsewhere. Food was excellent. Had the She crab soup and the daily catch, which was Red Snapper Oscar. Ordered a Cuzan rum breeze, which was good. Atmosphere was nice with views of the water. Service was horrible. Had to ask three times for my drink. Prices were reasonable. read more

Ok, so this place is every stereotype you and I have of Key West and yet... it works? The drinks come in plastic cups, service is slow (I recommend going up to the bar rather than waiting for servers to come around the pool), and the food is mediocre at best. But it's really damn fun. The pool is kept at a perfect temperature, the crowd is fun, and the drinks aren't actually bad as far as frozen sugary drinks go. I didn't know if I'd like it after reading reviews, but we ended up visiting twice during our trip. Not many better ways to spend a sunny day in Key West. read more

Our last day and we had about five hours between hotel checkout and flight Check-in. We decided Dante's would be the place to spend that time. What a perfect way to end the trip. Pool was large and clean. Service was excellent and the menu was typical bar/pool food. I had expected to pay something to use the services of the pool but they only ask that you consume their food and beverage while there. The food was more than reasonably priced and good. The burger they serve is 10oz. I saw many chicken wings served that looked tasty. My wife had a club salad and asked for romance lettuce and they accommodated her. I had the club with fries. The club was good but I like skinny fries and there were more of the fat version. Still good Drinks were reasonable and out bar and lunch tab was the cheapest of the week and had use of the pool to boot. It did get busier through the day. What a fun concept...a restaurant right in the middle of Key West with a super cool pool that you can use for the price of one drink and/or entrée! If your hotel doesn't have a pool or you just want a dip in the middle of your sightseeing, head over to Dante's! So we brought it all over to Dante's for a little cook your catch this past Sunday thinking it was a good idea.. ordered the blackened and off our fish went. EVERY single piece of fish had at minimum 3 scales on it. I've never in my life had experienced anything like this. It's like they descaled a fish and tossed the scales in with the blackened seasoning. Our waitress was sweet and attentive. We ordered mozzarella sticks that came with massive fries too- pretty good for the price. The oyster price was pretty fair and fresh. We ordered shots, two drinks, and a key lime pie drink. Most were good but the drinks weren't super strong by any means. The pool area was cool but could use a few more TVS for sports. The bathrooms they give you access to are so outdated and gross. Great for the vibes and the service but drinks are a bit watered down. read more
