We came here to celebrate a birthday/Mother's Day and it was a nice ambiance. The wait staff is superb because they pay personal attention to each patrons request and special dish requests. They have a lot of varieties of classic dishes. They should have served Italian bread with the meal but they initially served dry garlic knots and sliced rye bread. Being a Brooklyn native, this was a bit different for an Italian place not to serve Italian bread. Also it's BYOB which is also trending but they should get their license so they can serve to the customers who don't want to haul bottles with them for a get together. It's a nice place but wouldn't come back -- nothing particularly stood out.

A BYOB Italian place that has been in Leonia forever !!!! We have frequented this place so many times and because it feels very local and cozy, we did not even think of reviewing the food here. A quiet family restaurant, with a reasonable portion - not the regular Italian family style - affordable price. We had eggplant rollatini and misses in red sauce for appetizers. Eggplant rollatini is always a must, but slightly smaller portion now. The mussels were soooooo small!! Tiny !!!! But we loved the tomato sauce of course, dipping the garlic knits they serve. Chicken marsala is still consistently good with good amount of mushrooms. The linguini in white wine clam sauce was a bit disappointing....just no flavor. Very bland. The lobster ravioli in vodka sauce was decent.

bacon adorned scallop and shrimp, redolent in garlic

Best spot for Italian cuisine, bar none. Warm atmosphere, amazing flavors, attentive and friendly service. Very highly recommended

Great food and cute restaurant! I came here for a baptism and everything from appetizers to dinner was delicious. I was able to try multiple menu items and was very pleased with all that was served. Clam orgenata, calamari and stuffed mushrooms were appetizing. They also served eggplant rigatoni, but was unable to eat due to allergies. For entree we had family style option of chicken francese, steak and/ or filet of sole. Chicken Francese was my favorite. Thinly cut chicken breast battered with lemon, butter and white wine sauce.

Went for Daily Lunch Special Food - 5/5. Salad was fresh with good crisp bites and the dressing had a refreshing level of tartness. Bread was soft and I enjoyed the variety they offered. Shrimp scampi was fantastic! Pasta was a great al dente, shrimp had a good bite and the sauce was rich in garlic and butter flavor. Delicious! Service - 4/5. Courteous and friendly. Value - 5/5. They offer a lot of their main dishes on their lunch special menu for a fraction of the price. The portions are smaller but they are a good amount for one person and comes with a salad. The food was delicious and $15 for a seafood dish is a good deal. Parking - Mall Lot (Free)

Lasagna. More meat than pasta.

Very spacious restaurant with lots of seatings. We were seated immediately on a Friday night. We all ordered the combo/mix-and-match and the portions were huge!! Loved the seaweed oyster soup and grilled mackerel. Others ordered the LA galbi which was probably one of the best we've had. So flavorful. Seafood pancake was also good. Prices were very reasonable. Staff were very friendly. Service was attentive and fast. Our Korean friend said their kimchi was one of the best she has had. No wonder the restaurant actually sells it in a jar. Only complaint is it's tiny parking in the front but street parking is also available. This restaurant definitely has become one of our favorites.

I wish she had told us this sooner, as we had to place a new order for my in-laws while we were almost done with our own food. strange that they were out of snow crab legs and dungeness crab so early in the evening and with so few customers. also the restaurant is freezing cold, dingy, and dark, which adds to the over all unpleasant dining experience. definitely skip this place!

When they first opened, it was a bit more affordable but the way the menu is now, it's way pricier. And now if you want sausage or corn, you have to pay for it as a side (they do give you a lot!). I think it does come with potatoes automatically. Their garlic noodles are a must! I like it on the side so it's not soggy or overly spicy from the sauce. I think their sauce is always good (Capt Loui sauce) and their seafood has never been soggy/overcooked whenever I ate there. I suggest going on the weekdays when it's less crazy. Oh, but Tuesdays are busy, too, because they have $1 oysters. There is definitely a super long wait for weekend dinner time. I went on a Friday around 6:00 and got seated after 30 minutes (we were only 2 people) and while I was eating, there were sooo many people waiting. I never get dessert there because the only desserts they have are beignets and funnel cake fries (with or without ice cream). And, every time I go, everyone is super nice, even when it's crazy busy. I always ask for extra gloves so that I could switch out my gloves often and they are always accommodating.

The service was consistent, only once did we have to ask for refills for water. Food: we ordered the half and half raw marinated crab, bibimbap, abalone congee and fried oysters. Raw crabs: marinated and seasoned perfectly. We aren't a spicy loving family, but this was perfect amount for us that we could handle the spice. Our lips and mouths burned, but the good tingle, not the fire breathing 911 burn. lol Fried oysters: well battered and fried, nicely aromatic Abalone congee: perfectly textured and the abalone meat and taste was present. This helped offset the spiciness of the crabs. Bibimbap: not your average clay pot type, this was on a plate and with lots of green vegetables. Also delicious! The Bon chon was different and excellent. Variety of different vegetables, pickled and fermented. We enjoyed them all. FYI: there is a small parking lot as well

I found out much later that the owner was the one actually serving and cooking for us. We were able to walk in with a party of ten on labor day. Super accommodating staff, owner knows what he's doing. Never caught his name unfortunately We ordered 4 different combos and dude was able to cook for all of us at the same time. Everyone left stuffed and I even had leftovers for the next day. I didn't get to eat everything but here's what I tried. The duck combo, pork combo, nayengmen (cold noodle I butchered the spelling I know sorry) and corn cheese. They don't do the brisket sauce like they do in la. Instead I think it was a mixture of miso and vinegar? With onions soaking in it. Paired perfectly with the pork. I've never had anything like it before. The thin cut pork belly was probably my favorite out of all the pork. The marinated duck combo was pretty interesting. It kinda felt like a ttkekbokki dish? But a little light on the rice cakes. The duck itself tasted like some really good charcuterie. It was a little too spicy for me but super good. We ended up opting to throw everything into the fried rice at the end and it made for some perfect late night leftovers that I'm enjoying as I write this review. Lovely place, hope they do well. Once we were finally seated though, the food came out fast and our server/cook was very friendly and joined in on our convos. We loved everything we ordered, especially trying the clam gui and marinated duck for the first time. They make the kimchi fried rice at the end in the duck leftovers and it was so tasty!
