I called Dan for a rodent issue under the house. He informed me that he no longer does rodents, but would happily deal with any insects I may need help within the future. He also gave me good referrals for other companies that may be helpful for the rodent issue. He gets five stars for actually calling me back in a timely manner. Not something that always happens these days. read more

OMG. Dan is amazing. We've used him twice now for 2 completely different wasp remediation projects. The first was to remove a subterranean yellow jacket nest and most recently a bald-faced hornet nest in one of our pine trees. He's SUPER careful and professional, incredibly meticulous and quite simply 100% effective. Cannot recommend Dan any more highly. He's our go-to and the one we recommend to anyone who needs Pest Control. read more

Dan is just amazing! I confess that all I did was talk to him on the phone a few months ago about my pest problem, but he spent a good amount of time talking with me and helped me hone in on the best way to approach it. There was absolutely no pressure to go with his service, and he even suggested alternate solutions (rather than a chemical spray). I went with one of those because I have almost no money. It worked! But honestly, if I ever need help again with any other pest issue, I'm calling Dan!! He is just so kind, gracious and down to earth. Such a genuinely honest guy! And the rate he was going to charge was the same or lower than other pest control places I called. THANKS for taking the time to help, Dan!! read more

Dan was great. We had him eradicate a Yellowjacket nest. He was responsive, communicated very well, and his prices are very reasonable.

Dan was great! Knowledgable and helpful and after reviewing our hornet situation he showed us how to solve the problem on our own and didn't charge us. So happy I bought him lunch. This is the second time we called him. Will continue to call Dan for pest problems read more

Welp, after reading the past few reviews, I can say I'm in good company with how people feel about Dan and his work ethic. He really is amazing. He took a good hour out of his day to answer all of my questions about mice infestation. Not one other service bothered to call me back in a timely fashion, so I was relieved when I spoke with Dan at length. When he came to our house, he backed all his information up with a swift and thorough investigation. He went down into our crawl space that we were told was "infested" with dead mice and other yuck....Dan wasn't phazed. He set traps there and a bunch of other areas throughout the house and garage.....all in all, we now have a clean house! Dan is a gem: Kind, thoughtful and so very thourough. You really can't ask for more! read more

Dan is truly the kind of business owner you wish all the others were molded after. He is professional, responsive, great at explaining/guiding you, fairly priced and trustworthy. When I reached out to him a while back, even though he was not able to get to me to help right away, he took all the time needed to walk me through what I could do to curb the issue in the meantime. He was extremely helpful and kind, and he was the person I turned to when it came to get the house inspected/optimized. He did the work diligently and is simply a great, kind man. Although I hope I won't have to see him again anytime soon for obvious reasons, I certainly recommend his business to anyone with an issue within his real of expertise! read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dan. He came today on an emergency basis to deal with a black widow hanging out on the ceiling above my desk. As always, he was extremely courteous, confident, and competent. I so appreciated his availability on short notice (I think he sensed the panic) and his support letting me know he didn't think I was nuts (for emailing twice and calling once). What a gem. As a vet, I also love that he seems very interested in these animals. I always get a little education in the bugs when he comes over. We once asked him over for what we thought might be termites - ended up being beneficial bugs and we left them alone. We are lucky to have Dan in Central Oregon. I highly recommend him. read more

Dan was wonderful!! Gave us an entire education about our spider situation. He was really busy, we played phone tag for a bit, but he kept calling and got it set up for him to come out. He gave us a quote that was reasonable and advised us to be aggressive but not over treat. He took into consideration that we have a three and four year old. After the treatment he advised us to manage our expectations, but to look for potential signs of issues. About 5 days after treatment and we did notice a little increase in activity as he said we would. But not a single bite!! It feels great to sit on our couch and sleep in bed and be bite free!! Thank you Dan!! We may see you again in 6 months!! read more

We were looking for someone to help deal with a backyard, in the ground wasp issue. I asked for recommendations on Next Door and Dan's name came up, by far, the most, with very good reviews. We then checked out his Yelp recommendations, which were exceptional. We called him and sure enough, he's super great. Same day appointment, very knowledgable, great customer service, and someone that really enjoys his job. Fairly priced. Such a good experience. If the wasps re-nest in our backyard, we would definitely call him again. read more

Dan is the kind of guy we have come to really appreciate since moving to Bend. It seems like we are back in the 50's. Hard working honest tradesmen not trying to rip you off. Dan was running late and called before he was scheduled. We did business with someone when we first moved in and feel we were ripped off. Dan's program makes sense and affordable. Dan is THE best pest control person we've ever had the pleasure of knowing/using. He really knows his stuff! He did a great job getting rid of our mice problem in Tumalo, for almost 4 years. He kindly explains the pest situation and prevention methods which we greatly appreciated. We started seeing and catching mice again in the house, and he has been very busy at this time, but he takes the time to respond and advise with phone calls and emails. What a great person! We highly recommend him. read more

We are new to bend and thought we had a squirrel problem in our attic. After researching options, I called Dan. He spent a while on the phone talking about what my problem might be and going over my options. He came over ( and was ON TIME) the next day and spent an hour going through the attic and around the house. As it turned out, there were no entry points and no tracks, droppings etc. Since I didn't go up in the attic he EASILY could have told me something different, but he was HONEST and said right now the best course of action would be to monitor to see if we heard it again, as it may have been on the roof. The visit and inspection was free and as I insisted I pay him something, he said no thank you and just to call if we needed his services in the future. All I can say is WOW. I really hope Bend has more business people like this! read more

Dan is awesome! He is professional, knowledgeable and fast, and friendly to boot! He solved our yellow-jacket problem in no time! We had a nest of them in our fence by the gate in a difficult to reach spot, making it impossible to enjoy our backyard. He quickly assessed the situation over the phone and scheduled a time to come within a day or two. We're so glad we called him to take care of it. His approach was careful and thorough, and he addressed all of our questions. He also took care of some paper wasp nests we had on the other side of the house, and advised us on other pest concerns. His prices were very reasonable and made us feel confident in our choice to call in a local professional. We will definitely will call him again if we have any further pest problems. Absolutely 5 stars all the way! Dan is the best! read more

Dan was completely honest about my needs not requiring his service. He literally said, "I can't take your money." but he still walked the property with me and pointed out a couple of small things that might need attention in the future. He also pointed out everything I'd done right. Every one of my questions were addressed without hesitation - Dan's a very knowledgeable, informative guy. Pest control is one of those services where it's tough to gauge if you're getting a fair price for the work to be done, but I will definitely call on Dan's Pest Control for any future needs after such a pleasant and honest interaction. read more
