I called Jim and told him I thought I had rats in our walls. He told me that this was probably not…read morethe case and it was most likely mice and gave me his talk about mice etc. I hired him to come out and take care of our problem. When he was here I told him again that I thought it was rats, but he gave me the talk about mice. He put some detour stuff on a couple openings in the foundation area and set 2 mouse traps (1 in my crawl space and 1 in the house). I told him that I have never seen rodents or evidence of them in my house, but he told me that it was best to put one anyways. I kept hearing the noises in the walls throughout the weekend, so I went to check the crawl space trap. I opened up the door and saw no mice in the trap, but he did set the trap next to rat droppings and a partially decomposed rat that had been caught in a snap trap. He never mentioned to me that he saw this while setting the mouse trap. When I called him to say what I found he told me he never saw evidence of rats. I am not a professional, but I saw the evidence right away when I opened up the crawl space. I have asked him what he is going to do to make this right since as a professional he should have seen the evidence and talked to me about my options, but he just wants to keep telling me how he didn't see any evidence of rats and he wants to keep talking to me about mice.
