Very professional and courteous. They do routine monthly service calls and I've never had any problems. The best part is our Carpenter any problem had disappeared after the first visit. Patrick came out today during my lunch break and checked in on how our pest problem has been going. No issues and no further ants in the house. He and his colleague were done with their outside perimeter spray in about 5 to 10 minutes. read more

do not hire these people! they are impossible to get a hold of when you need to talk to someone. I paid for the service for 4 years and when my wasp issue was worse than ever this last summer, not only did no-one come to spray after calling multiple times, they STILL charged me! worst customer services ever. Save yourself the headache and hire a BEND LOCAL company. read more

Michael came out today and took care of a good size ground wasp nest. Pointe Pest has some of the nicest people working for them . They have always made appointments easy to schedule, make sure all the areas you need covered get covered and answer any bug / mice questions you have read more

Scott stopped by today to treat inside our fenced backyard and inside the home. This was a revisit I had requested due to not being home to unlock those areas last time. Almost 2 years have elapsed since Pointe's first visit and treatment of the house interior, and we recently started seeing spiders again. Scott has been here before. As usual, he did a thorough job and left detailed notes with the electronic invoice. read more

I called Pointe for two issues I was having wasps and carpenter ants. I had to wait until payday to have them come out but I called them when I got paid since I was so impressed by their service on the phone and they got me in the very next day. The service guy was very professional, very nice, on time, did a fantastic job and was very knowledgeable. He also made sure not to put down a pest control that could hurt my landlords free range chickens when I told him we had them. And used something else instead. I am very happy with my service. Even gave me hints on how to help keep the wasps away from the tiny house. This was my serviceman's first tiny house but he didn't skip a beat and didn't act like it was any different than doing a regular house. read more

My neighbor has had Pointe out to their house three years in a row for mice. Their idea of controling mice is to put rat sized bait stations all around the exterior of the house. They told my neighbor that it would only kill mice although the opening is big enough for all rodents including protected species like chipmunks and Golden Manteled Ground Squirrels. For three years, our entire population of ground squirrels and three Western Gray squirrels have been killed along with many of the native Deer mice. The poison they use, Contrac, is one of the most powerful toxins available and they are using it on a species of mouse that is not listed as approved by the Federal Government. Secondary death for ravens and birds of prey is highly possible according to the manufacturer of Contrac. You can't just kill every animal for years to solve one household's issues. Their website says they will seal the outside of the house in the case of mice, not lay down enough poison to annihilate all wildlife. We had mice too and sealing the exterior of the house worked for us! Shame on you Pointe!!! read more

Scott did a great job today, coming and taking care of business. I called him for something overlooked by an associate of his and he took care of that and did a number of other things while he was here. I'm impressed with the quality of his work and his timelines of his response. He is also a very pleasant person who is a great front man for his company. read more

They SAY that they have a "guarantee" that they will come out and re-treat if pests return in between services, but they refused to do it stating they don't guarantee ALL pests. I have a dying tree from pests they they are failing to take care of and "guarantee". On top of that their customer service is slow and I wasted 30 minutes of my day on hold just to be told that they are not standing by their "guarantee". I'll be moving on to one of their competitors and they have lost a customer when all they had to do was stand by their advertised guarantee. Foolish! read more

The sales guy came by my house this afternoon, very nice and friendly. He gave me a fair price on the pest control - we were starting to get ant hills and wasps so it was perfect timing. About an hour later Dylan came by to start the process. He was also super friendly, very polite and did a great job. I'm very happy! read more

Jason, a team member of Pointe Pest Control, arrived today to do scheduled service at my residence. He addressed every one of my issues with an enthusiasm that has become a hallmark of the service that I have also come to expect from this excellent and professional company. I would like to see Jason assigned permanently to this area. He is a credit to his company. read more

You know we never actually had services done. What I'm here to complain about is the door to door salesmen! Some guy shows up to my house and tells me my neighbor has carpenter ants. He then uses the names of my neighbors to try and persuade me to pay for their 50% off sale because my neighbor has them..ugh. I then notice that the face on this guys name tag doesn't match his face at all! Like seriously! The man on his name tag had a darker complexion than he did, almost black hair and different eyes, nose and face shape. When I question him about it he says, "well ya know someone can change a lot in a year and a half" I ask him why his hair is so light. He says "well that's what happens when you bleach it" his hair was strawberry blonde. The man in the picture had black hair. This salesman's hair looked pretty natural. I could tell he was making it up on the spot. Not to mention that he was like super pale compared to the guy in the photo. You can't just change complexions. He was suuuuper manipulative and I told him nicely several times that I didn't want his services. He continued to badger. It was so ridiculous that I actually had to keep myself from laughing. I told him we haven't seen any bugs, and he says "it's just a matter of time before you will, and if you had seen bugs you probably wouldn't be getting 50% off" just another trick. I feel bad for my neighbors who went for his tricks and are going to pay a lot of money for nothing. THIS IS A SCAM. DO NOT TAKE THEIR SERVICES. read more

Bob showed up promptly and did a thorough and professional job of investigating a suspected bed bug infestation at our house. No bed bugs showed up, so he gave us some reasonable steps we could take to clean and clear the area, then monitor going forward. The whole process was very reassuring and made us feel much less helpless vs the bugs. Well done! read more

We live here in Bend which is awesome for almost everything, except pests. During the winter it seems like mice are trying to find their way in to stay warm. In the summer the spiders, ants and other pests are relentless. We had Terminix for many years. We had bait stations around the yard and traps in the garage. Terminix would come out once a month and spray and remove dead mice from the traps. This went on and on for years. I finally gave Pointe a call. The appointment was easily made and we had a gentleman come out and look everywhere including under the house, something Terminix had never done. After the consultation they showed me weak spots in our homes defense. Instead of setting traps they actually sealed up small cracks making it harder for animals to enter the house. They set up traps in the garage and put an extra bait station up. That was a year ago. We were pleasantly surprised to not find one mouse in a trap the whole year. We also have seen a drastic decrease of chipmunks. They come out monthly and check the traps, fill the bait stations and spray. Everyone who has been to our house from Pointe has been amazing. If you are looking for a professional exterminator that actually gets the job done, give Pointe a call. read more

I requested Pointes services about a month and a half ago due to a mouse problem. My tenants asked for bait boxes to be used due to several dogs in the home and did not feel comfortable with open bait being used. A few days ago they started using the furnace and were assaulted with a smell of a dead mouse in the duct system. That is when they were informed they were using open bait, which they requested not to be used. They were then informed by their employee it was our problem to find and remove the dead mouse or mice. I called Pointe and they informed that they offered that service and would be calling with a time and date to do this. When we received the call we were informed to put our hand down the vents and if we could not reach the dead mouse they could not help us and suggested we purchase deoderent to put down the vents while it decomposed. I phoned again only to get more employees with more conflicting info with a promise to have someone else call me. I cancelled the service. This is the first time using a pest service and if they are any indication of the industry I would rather do it myself. I only hope they will find a cohesive business plan that they can convey to there employees and clients. Lying is not working read more

My husband and I thought we had bed bugs--or at least one that had been brought in by a house guest. I know what they look like, have done quite a bit of research about them in the past, and was confident this wasn't just a carpet beetle or something that looked sort of like a bed bug. I spoke several times with Cameron about treatment options and was impressed by his knowledge of bed bugs and how to get rid of them. As we were preparing our house for treatment, Cameron recognized that what we had was likely a bat bug--a very close relative. We sent the bug to an entomologist for identification. There are several species of bat bugs in the country, many of which will cause infestations similar to bed bugs, but this particular one in the Pacific Northwest specializes in bats. Cameron had encountered bat bugs in the PNW before, so knew to even consider the possibility. He also knew what to look for in terms of a bat infestation--most likely source of bat bugs. Very glad we were dealing with him. We ended up not treating for bed bugs and haven't seen another bat bug. Will definitely call Pointe if we need pest control in the future read more
