My neighbors have a tree in there backyard that box-elder bugs live in, the tree hangs over my driveway, so of course the bugs sworn our fence and house when it gets warm. Our landlords have a contract with Terminix and they are say that they come out every Thursday to spray but we never seem to get relief, not sure what they spray or if they even show up since they claim to come during the day when nobody is home, but it seems like there are worse all the time. I called Pointe and they offered to come out and do a courtesy spray. Since then we have had some relief, we know that until the tree is taken care of by the neighbors owners they will not completely go away. Pojnte was extremely helpful and after they sprayed just the once we have seen an improvement. I will be recommending Pointe to my landlord, not only because there was some improvement but because they were very professional and friendly to work with! Kenny Vanleewen, came out the very next day and serviced our house insect protection quickly and thoroughly. He was so nice and explained every detail of what he was doing and the products he was using. I was having a problem with some spiders entering into my bedroom. He checked everything out looking for what might be causing this problem. What he discovered was the outside caulking on the bottom of the window had cracked creating an opening for pest entry. This is a new house, but there are always going to be some problems, so I'm very thankful that Kenny found this so I can now contact the builder to do warranty repair. We have been continually impressed by Pointe Pest Control during the two years we have been on a quarterly service agreement. We live in a rural area where critters are plentiful, and sometimes destructive. We appreciate the reliable, regular visits of the techs, who are all just excellent, especially Justin. On the occasions when we need an extra visit (yellow jackets in this case), we were able to schedule a visit promptly and Justin did a great job assuring he treated both the entry and the exit of the ground nest. Since we have dogs, we are grateful that Pointe Pest uses products that are as non-toxic as possible under the individual circumstances. read more

Just started using this service but Jake- the guy with whom I originally spoke with- was extremely informative and helpful. This is our first home so we knew we'd need pest control and it's better to start before an issue occurs! Our first inspection/application was done by Dalton who was early and also extremely friendly, informative, and helpful. He let me know exactly what was being placed around my house. He also completed the check out procedure at the beginning so I could get back to my sleeping baby and not wake her later! Patrick came out and sprayed today and was amazing. He was extremely knowledgable and brought our mind at ease when it came to the activity we've had around our house with spiders, and other bugs. Jay Hicks with Point Pest preformed the third, every an three month service at my log house and guest house. He knew exactly what to look for and made suggestions on the relocation of the bait boxes. He was the first technician to my house when I called Point Pest regarding my carpenter ant and pack rat infestation in a few locations in my log house. The rats disappeared almost overnight and the ants were completely gone after a couple on months. They try to put you into a contract which the tech will say is quarterly.. but they try to sneak a 5th payment in and send you to collections. They say if your having a problem they will come out any time and take care of it while in the contract. But they do not.. they only come out every 14 or 21 days even if requested more. The have been spraying for over a year and I still have spiders everywhere. They spray your windows on the outside so it has spray lines and you cant get it off your windows. I have been noticing more and more mice in and around our house. Gross. I called Pointe and they came over to access the same day. Cole, came out the following week to get everything set. We have started the process of eradicating the rodents. Found out we have a pack rat or two as well. He got our traps setup and entry ways sealed off. He will be back regularly to change out the traps. He also sprayed for bugs on the outside of our house! I feel relieved knowing our home will be rodent free in the weeks to come. read more

Technicians were prompt, polite, and efficient. (I think they even "Ma'am-ed" me. ) They inspected the area of concern (garage) and determined the probable entry point for the mouse invasion, blocked the exterior access points, refilled exterior bait stations, and laid additional traps inside the garage. I had to leave early the next morning and quickly checked the area before driving away. It was clear from the intense odor that something was working already! Zach was our service provider. Our biggest pest is a large population of lizards that live on my back deck. He was honest about his knowledge of exterminating lizards, which from where he comes from was limited and not a problem. He was quick, COVID conscientious, thorough, informative of his service.
