We called around to several companies about our house being infested with spiders. Terminix was the first to call us back, and unlike their competitors, who we eventually heard from, Terminix took their time with us on the phone, answered all our questions and didn't make us feel like they were in a rush to hang up, which is how we felt with the other companies. While slightly higher in price, we made an appointment with Terminix for the simple fact the owner, Dustin, made us feel like our business actually mattered to him as opposed to making us feel as if we were an interruption in his day. The service man, Denny, showed up on time, with a professional appearance, and was very knowledgable about the products they use and it was apparent he was happy working for his employer. My wife felt so comfortable with him she took our two dogs and hung out in our fifthwheel leaving Denny alone in the house to do his job. When he finished, they sat on the porch where he took his time going over the paperwork, etc. according to my wife, our two dogs took to him right away, which is highly unusual for them. When one of our dogs got sick two days later, my wife called Terminix in a panic late on a Friday afternoon. The office listened to my wife and told her that the owner was gone on his way out of town but she would try to contact him. We didn't expect to hear back, and were amazed when he called back within 30 minutes. He had pulled over on the side of the road to call, yet again never made us feel like we were an inconvenience and expressed genuine concern. He reviewed the products used as well as the quantities so we could let the vet know to determine if it was the treatment making our dog sick. We did find out his getting sick had nothing to do with the Terminix products. We were completely amazed when my wife received a call early the next week from Dustin to check on our dog! It has been so long since we had experienced that old-school customer service we were almost in shock! Now, after just the first treatment, our spider infestation has decreased dramatically and we are so impressed with Terminix we feel good about spending the little extra money for that kind of priceless customer service! I was totally impressed by this company today! While hauling junk from against my fence on the side of my house, we seemed to disturb a yellow jacket nest. They had been bothering us in latel summer when eating outside but we were unable to locate the nest until today. The yellow jackets were quickly angered and stung my small children and the man that I hired to haul our junk. It was pretty bad. I called Terminix and they were very nice on the phone. I got a call back right away from Dustin the owner to describe to him my problem. Although they had no available appointments that day, Dustin took it upon himself to come and get rid of the nest due to the fact that we had small children. He could not have been nicer to us, especially my 5 year old son who was fascinated by his truck and bee suit. The nest was the size of a watermelon that he found in an old planter under some debris. He showed us the queen and the nest when he finished...pretty interesting! The whole ordeal was about 20 minutes...nest gone. Thank you Dustin. We really appreciate your excellent customer service. We've had ants coming up through our master bedroom closet for 3 years now. They come up about the middle of August and are gone by early September, but they are a real nuisance when they are coming up through our concrete slab. Called Terminix (Bend) and they immediately schedule an appointment. They pulled the carpet back, drilled 6 small holes, inserted the treatment and restored the carpet ... all in under an hour. I asked how much the bill was and they told me that because we're on a contracted services agreement there would be no additional charge. I couldn't believe it. They were professional, courteous and so efficient. The closet looks just the same as before they got here. I can't recommend Terminix (Bend) highly enough. They truly went beyond my expectations.
