Lots of sandwiches on the menu, but I wanted bar food, to go, so I got some pastrami wings to start. Good wings, not great- pastrami spices, fairly meaty, not bad. I also got fried brussels sprouts. Yowza! Small sprouts, fried in, I believe, brown sugar and prosecco. So, a little sweet, a little sour, very good. Finally, some schmaltz potatoes. I wasn't sure if they'd be mashed or what; they were essentially potato wedges, but the best potato wedges I have ever had. Soft inside, a bit crispy outside, great fatty flavor with a little salt. Man, they were good. I'd go back here, or the truck, to explore the menu. They know what they're doing.

We have been waiting to play at this venue for awhile. Come here all the time for shows and wanted to get our foot in the door, to be able to play this venue again. I guess I should start out with some general info. Challah is actually located inside Woodlands Tavern. I will definitely be back to Woodlands if not for the food it will be for the beer and their happy hour prices. But the food was incredible. It was hard to believe that it came from a bar. We shared our food of course. We got the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and the Greg's Pastrami Wings which are brined, dry rubbed & smoked. Both were insanely great and are worth coming back for again and again. Which of course we will do. It also helps that this location is just around the corner from my job. I could actually walk to it from my work building, but I usually don't. I would be interested in knowing if there is still a food truck that goes around. I am only aware of the location at Woodlands. Please update your website with updated info on this for your customers & to get new ones. Some people do not visit bar or establishments that serve alcohol, yes believe it or not. So it would good to be able to provide locations to friends and family members.

The tomato on the sandwhich was huge, so I believe that they use like beefeater tomatoes, because those are the biggest grown tomatoes I can think of. Accompanied by their sauce with the meats and cheeses. I should have expected that when ordering an Italian! The last time I ate an Italian it was the leaner kind from Subway. Not the hefty meaty portion I got here! If you're looking for quality meats sandwiches look no further than Kenny's Meat Wagon!

I also spend way more than I should, but in the case of Kenny's Meat Wagon, $14 for two sandwiches didn't break the bank too much, but it did almost put me into a food coma. I've had several chances to check out Kenny and his wagon, but I just never gave it a chance. Today was that day and what a great day it was. I could smell the grill from a ways off, especially the Chicago style Italian beef he had sitting there marinading. The menu offered for regular options and two specials, one being a Veggie sandwich. I had to figure out how to try a bit of everything without overdoing it. I went with the Italian sandwich, which had a thick slice of Genoa salami and pepperoni on it and a pile of the Italian beef covered in veggies and spicy mayo. This.. should have been enough for me, but I had to get the Corby Dog too which was a 1/4 lb hot dog topped with pulled pork and homemade BBQ sauce and purple slaw. All the meats are local, and the awesome bread that it comes on is too. I downed that Italian sandwich pretty quick even though it was quite a bit of food and started to get the meat sweats. It was so good, but Kenny's not messing around with his meat, and you'll probably want to take it slow. As far as the Corby Dog, I saved that for later. About 15 minutes later. It was absolutely delicious, and the BBQ sauce mixed in with the sweet peppers and grilled onions was really tasty. I wanted to get this review out here before I fell asleep at work, because the food was just so good. I see now why he won an award at the Columbus Food Truck festival. He's also selling OH Chips! If you find him, you have to give it a try. The Facebook and Twitter pages are updated daily, so that'll be your best bet!

Although it was too early in the morning for all the stores to be open, it is a lovely, cute, quaint place. The food stalls looked wonderful and they even had a little gift section. So I was a little taken back you got a little bit of everything in this location is really small. And the parking is terrible but what can you expect for downtown? I had to take my ticket inside and if you purchased something from one of the vendors, they have to give you a QR code for the parking garage and it's two dollars for parking. We had Indian food and the food was delicious. The young lady behind the counter was so nice. She let us taste the chicken before purchasing our meals. The food in the North market is expensive. It was almost $40 for two people to eat. Then we had Jennie's ice cream afterwards and it was $15 for two scoops of ice cream. Customer service was great as all the vendors were awesome and explained everything to us. Is this something that I would do again know just because of the parking and most of the restaurants inside of Markette is not something that I would normally eat very clean. There is a second floor for you to sit. I don't know if they had an elevator. I didn't see one, but I know there are stairs to the second floor. Very busy long lines and you feel like you have to rush to order something because all lines were so long.

It has two or three stages with a lot of local bands and some bigger bands who had been popular. There's overpriced beer but there's lots of food trucks. I went both nights of it this year. If you go earlier a lot of the vendors won't be open yet. There's a $5 cover after 7. It allows you into any of the bars. Of course, the bars on Park Street suck ass. Another annoying thing is the cost of beers. They have that stupid ticket system. For $6 you get one ticket. You get 5 tickets for $25. A 16 oz. Blue Moon or a 20 oz. Miller Lite is one ticket. That's crazy. Instead of this have the cocktails. These were two tickets each for a 32 oz. bucket of margarita, rum punch, or vodka punch. I would go again to hang out. It's not the best festival but it's a nice preview of the better ones. There's lots of food trucks with plenty of vegetarian choices so it has something else other than overpriced beer or bands to watch.
