    Special Cheesesteak with fries

I'd be embarrassed to say how many times a month I order pick up from Danny's, but their menu is so diverse and family/staff so engaging that they totally wipe out any guilt or shame I feel for eating 1,426 empanadas a lunar cycle. I added a picture of one of said empanadas, it is absolutely glorious. Oh, and the fried chicken?! Dope. The cheesesteak was actually good with some flavor, the beef wasn't an unseasoned goop of protein. Aaaand it came with fries! No one gives you fries! And they're consistently good! Danny's, ftw.

Family atmosphere with the crispiest crust on a delicious upside down pizza! I'm from North Jersey where the cheese is on top!

Oh, Danny Boy.... Why so unassuming? Why hidden in a forlorn strip of 20th Century retail excess? Why aren't you sharing your gift with the entire Tomato Pie craving world? The lights. The lights are calling...! Your T. Pie is among the best I have sampled in my pizza-loving life. It is in the local pantheon of greatness occupied only by a few other mozzarella souls - DeLo's, JoJo's, Ivy Tavern, Joey's, and a few others in the Mecca of the Pizza Universe, Brooklyn. Micro thin crust firm enough to hold the topside without a quiver. Sauce, chunky and mildly sweet with a hint of basil. Cheese hidden beneath with a gentle saltiness to balance the smiling acidity above. Not a single drop of oil on the aluminum tray despite a spritz of pressed olive applied as the final touch before reaching the oven. And, the sweet Italian sausage, home grown, and crumbled around the disk amply, with a wonderful aroma and fresh textured taste. Though you labor in obscurity, Danny, your artistry is not lost on those who treasure the magic only a steamy right out of the oven slice of heaven can provide.

What a freaking great pizza! This was my first Trenton tomato pie. Better than Frank Pepe's? Ahhh, apples and oranges. This pie is unique, and stands on its own; crispy thin crust, sharp cheese on the bottom, tangy crushed tomatoes on top. Comparisons with New Haven apizza would be misguided and wrong headed. I chose anchovies, sausage and mootz for my toppings. Large pizza with three toppings, and delivery, $23.00. Well done, Danny's, well done!

Pizza was good and the employees were friendly. It would have been nice to be offered plates when dinning with three little children. They offered us house bread and oil, it was delicious. There was hardly anyone there when we came in. There is no where to sit for groups. Each table only accommodates four, so our family of five was awkwardly sitting around a table. There were three people in the restaurant when we came in, but they left shortly after we ordered. The employees were cooking a lot of pizzas, so they must have had some going out for delivery. I would have given more stars, but again, offer plates when there are children eating.

Best pizza in Ewing and I've tried them all! I'm a Ewing transplant and have never found a pizzeria that has great pizza. Red Star is the best of the worst, but they will always burn their pies. Danny's is crispy and tasty. Their dough can handle the high heat of the ovens. Their seating area is open and clean and even if it is packed you wouldn't be right on top of everyone. Everyone definitely needs to stop settling for 'ok' pizza and eat here. You won't be disappointed. I wish I could give them 10 stars!

Got a calzone and it was very good, and I'm Italian and have eaten at many pizza spots. This is a good place to try.

Stuck in the back of the shopping center with Marrazzo's and Sal DeForte's, right next door to a ramen noodle shop, these friendly folks are hospitable and enjoy conversing with their customers. After a few questions I ordered their "The Dragon," burger combo. They do smash burgers here, and the finished sandwich looked like a half pounder in an oversized bun, with plenty of heat from cherry peppers, jalapeños, onions, topped with spicy mayo and creole cole slaw with a hint of mango to offset the flames. It needed no ketchup nor additional contributions, and was delicious from bite one. All the parts played very well together. A little drippy to be sure, but easily managed. It came with a pile of crisp waffle fries that did require a squirt of ketchup, but were able second mates to the main beefy attraction. This was a very enjoyable meal, that would only be complemented by the house being better suited for eating in, right when everything is at its apex of perfection. Shitzz n Glizzies has the potential to compete with the big burger guys in the area. Will have to let you know about their franks and steaks at another time, but there is reason for optimism.

We ordered a pierogi appetizer to share and some holiday cocktails to start. For entrees we had pork chops that were cooked to perfection and served over a sweet potato purée with a blackberry gastric. We also had the 7 fishes over linguine offered in red, white, hot or hot. I chose red hot. It was delicious with calamari, shrimp, lobster, mussels, clams, and fish. The penne vodka with sausage and peas was also delicious and a generous portion. The salmon dish was also excellent but had barely any risotto and 6 string beans. Overall, Blooming Grove is a favorite of our extended family and we visit fairly often.
