There are reasons for all the 5 star ratings! We had two areas on our new car that had brushed against a wall. In less than five minutes, Tim removed them and the car returned to it's pristine condition. No charge! Two days ago, we went to another highly rated auto body shop on 8th St that was sold awhile back. We were told it would be a 3 day repair and the estimate would be emailed within the hour. An estimate was emailed but was for another client. Despite a followup request by me by email and then a phone call, the estimate was never sent. Boy, was I glad! I've had several run in's with deer's over the years sadly and Daniele's has always knocked it out of the park when it comes to repairs and overall care they put into the whole process. They treat their customers really well and are always in constant communication when it comes to where your vehicle is at in the repair process. Excellent body shop and paint matching. My pristine Miata got some unexpected damage on its rear bumper while parked. Additionally, one of the taillights got shattered and needed replacement. Based on an experience from before, the factory Stormy Blue Mica paint is extremely difficult to match. It's a high-metallic paint. Up close, you can see the complexity in the color with a bright light. I went 30mi out of my way to get to Daniele's since I was told they have good paint matching ability. And thankfully my friend was right. The paint match is absolutely spot-on. I'll update this review after I compound and polish the newly painted bumper, and I'll add more photos to show the paint transition between the bumper and fenders. As for the taillight, my insurance company requested that a used taillight be purchased for this repair, due to the insane cost of a new Genuine-Mazda part. Upon receiving the used one, Daniele's noticed that the used one had a blemish. Instead of alternate fixes, *they went ahead and ordered a brand new genuine-Mazda one*! Okay guys so a little background. Got into a minor fender bender (the other guy hit me) and we have to go through the entire insurance process, you feel me? Not fun. Plus I live here alone and I've never had to deal with this before so I was already going in blind. The insurance company (that the other dude had) had this place listed as a preapproved collision center so I decided to check it out after I saw the reviews on yelp, obviously... I called in Friday and spoke to Fred and decided to meet Saturday since I couldn't make it on time from my commute. SUCH as amazing person. Fred, you made me feel so confident in you & your work I just gave him the keys after meeting him and I'm glad I did so!!! I believe it was his daughter who runs the car rental portion of the business and she's absolutely amazing as well! Made the whole transaction run so smoothly, explained the whole process and had everything taken care of before I even got there. Fred and his team went above and beyond. Fixed my car up so nicely that I feel like I'm driving a whole new car. Looks so beautiful and even touched up a few things along the way. They are a very nice, family owned business. Their price was much better than the auto body shop on 8th street. A wall jumped out and totally dented my side bumper, and they fixed it very nicely. They also arranged a rental car, although they were done so quickly, I didn't really need it. Deanna is always very pleasant and always answers the phone or quickly returns calls. read more

These guys are awesome! I brought my wife's Audi into them after she accidentally locked her keys in the car with my toddler in it. The fire department had to bend the window frame slightly to unlock the door and get him out. I went to these guys to get an estimate for the repair to bend the window frame back into place. Dianna had a couple of guys look at it for me and they bent it back and adjusted it in about 10 minutes. I tried to give them some money but they told me not to worry about it. These guys are AWESOME - don't waste your time with local competitors. My wife's car received some scratches in an SF parking garage and the 2 "corporate" shops in town quoted ~$3k (and made me schedule time to get a quote in advance). I called Daniele's to schedule a quote and they said "just come on in when you're ready". Upon arrival Tim came out to quote but said "maybe we can just buff that out". 10 minutes later the damage was gone and looked brand new again - and they refused any compensation! I really appreciate that they were professional over phone, saw me without an appointment late in the afternoon for an estimate and before I could get estimate to repair a damaged handicapped liftgate ( vital it worked and was functioning) they FIXED it and two other minor problems and at NO CHARGE! What a bunch of great people! My mom backed into my truck. I took it to 4 places to get a quote. 1 person told me I'd need to replace the whole side panel (3K$) because there was no way someone could smooth it out enough to look decent. I took it to Daniele's and felt I was not getting taken advantage of. After I was told I'd need another side panel from another local body shop, I called Daniele's to explain to me why their way would be better. Fred did not hesitate to explain the process and explain to me that he has some great guys working for him and that he trusted completely. I own a 2003 Toyota 4-Runner that has never been garaged. The paint held up very well until the last year. I began to notice patches of top coat loss on the hood area. I took it to Danielle's Classic Auto Body shop which had been recommended to me by my auto mechanic, Scott. During the inspection for the estimate I pointed out that I had a large bleached area on the rear floorboards as well from a spilled bottle of chlorine that had tipped over. When I picked up the car they had done an amazing job on the hood, the floorboards and a huge scratch on my fender. The car appears brand new! Gave me a very fair price AND gave me an appointment the next day...not 5+ days out like other shops suggested. They also had it ready for me THE NEXT DAY. Holy smokes. And they did an AMAZING job, you could not see where they repaired my paint on the front end of my Mini, it looked brand new. I also like that they had an affordable rental car ($25/day) available right there so I was not without a car or running around trying to find a rental car. Great work, great service, and they stand behind their work. I had my car repaired there about a year ago after an accident. I recently noticed that there was paint flaking off the hood. Fred, the owner, was very concerned, looked at the records with me and it turns out they hadn't even painted the hood, only repaired a dent. But despite the fact that it wasn't their paint job, he didn't even hesitate to fix it for free. He said he couldn't have his name on something like that and had it back to me the next day.
