I had some body damage on my vehicle and Eddy and his guys fixed me up SUPER quick. He was also straight up with me about everything and never did I feel I was being steered into something that wasn't in my best interest. Eddy is also very knowledgeable, as you'd hope a guy who runs any kind of auto shop would be, and offered multiple solutions to me. This is probably the best place you could take your car for any kind of problem and that's exactly what I will be doing moving forward. read more

Absolutely flawless work! I own a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. Low miles and well maintained. But, the factory paint was a disaster. There were rust areas and I was sure I have at least 10 more good years, but not if it started leaking. I took the car a got a couple of estimates. Eddies estimate was the most reasonable. And, he was even recommended by a competitor. He answered all my questions and explained the process. He is very knowledgeable and professional. The car needed a full repaint. I feel like I have a brand new car for a fraction of the cost. She looks better than brand new! I received her back fully detailed. He even found the car mats I bought years ago that needed to be cut to put in the car. I never got to it anhe did! If you are looking for a meticulous, honest shop for major paintwork, Eddies is the only place to go. I cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

This place ROCKS! My car hasn't looked this good in years. Eddie is also a great guy that goes above and beyond. Highly suggest!!!

I'll start by saying that I am by far the pickiest guy I know when it comes to cars in general, and especially paint matching on auto body repairs. I have owned several cars with prior paintwork, and not a single one of them ever stopped bugging me, and not a single other person in my life ever even noticed. So, that's me. Let's talk about Eddie's Paint Works: I absolutely cannot recommend Eddie and the team here highly enough. They repaired my wife's Ford Mustang Mach-E (got hit on the passenger's door) with a warm pearl white paint color - not an easy color to nail. I absolutely, positively, CANNOT tell that the car was ever hit, nor that it was partially repainted and blended. It's incredible. I'm simply blown away in a way that's hard to put into words - I went 38 years of life thinking that no paint repair could ever be undetectable, and here I am, proven wrong. In addition to incredible artisan-quality paintwork, Eddie used new parts directly from Ford for the repair and even took the car to a Ford dealer to make sure all the safety sensors were properly recalibrated. Eddie is a true "car guy" and I found this shop by looking for shops that people trusted with their true pride and joy - sports cars, hot rods, etc. Trust those people. This was my first time dealing with an insurance claim and Eddie was incredibly helpful in educating me about the process and providing me with some advice and guidance. He worked seamlessly with my insurance and it was overall just a totally painless process. In CA, YOU have the right to choose what shop to get your car repaired at - your insurance can't tell you where to go. Do yourself a favor and go to Eddie! I hope I don't get in an accident anytime soon, but if I do, at least now I know I can go to Eddie and everything will turn out perfectly. I'll never look for another auto body shop as long as I live here and as long as Eddie is around. read more

We found Eddie honest, trustworthy, and easy to work with - my i3 needed front end work and we also discovered that Eddie is fast and reliable. He'll give you his honest opinion and you can rely on his integrity and his reputation that he has built up in the community. While I can't remember who recommened Eddie to us, I can say that I would recommend Eddie and his staff whole heartedly. read more

5 STARS - If I could give 10, I would! Eddie's Paint Works is, hands down, the gold standard for automotive paint and bodywork. From the very first call to picking up my car, the communication was absolutely incredible. Eddie and his team kept me informed every step of the way--no guessing, no wondering, just honest updates and clear timelines. You can tell they genuinely care about their customers and take pride in their craft. As for the work itself? Next level. I honestly think the paint job they did is BETTER than factory! The attention to detail is unreal--every panel is flawless, the color match is perfect, and the finish has that deep, glossy shine that makes it look like it just rolled out of a high-end showroom. They don't cut corners here; they go above and beyond to make sure everything is dialed in to perfection. If you're looking for quality work, trustworthy communication, and a team that truly takes pride in delivering top-tier results, Eddie's Paint Works is the place. I wouldn't take my vehicle anywhere else. Highly, highly recommended! read more

So, unfortunately, for the second time in four months, I was rear ended again! People, pay attention out there! Thankfully, however, I knew just who to call immediately. Eddie was quick to respond, had me come right down for pictures and more importantly, reassurance that all will be well. I could have easily been a wreck (every pun intended) if I didn't already know I was going to be in good hands. Thank you again, so very much Eddie (and your team) for everything you all do. read more

Can't say enough good things about these guys they did an absolutely amazing job on my car. I presented them with a extremely difficult task recently where my car had been vandalized and completely covered in rattle can paint so bad that you could hardly tell the original color of the car and of course it had spent some years sitting in the sun so it was really caked on there. It was a total gamble because it was impossible to tell before hand what lay underneath. There was a lot of labor in removing the rattle can paint and it was a delicate procedure to not damage the clear coat on the factory paint underneath. I was really luck that the original paint was in really good conditionand and all it needed was a really good polish. The car looks amazing like new for a 90's car. The job was expensive but you really do get what you pay for. Top quality work in a timely fashion, I highly recommend this is my new go to paint shop thank you guys. read more

Eddie is great at what he does and he's a terrific guy to boot. He fixed my car to better than new condition. Thank you!

I had a couple of primered side panels for my motorcyle that needed to be painted to match the factory colors. Eddy did it for me quickly and at a fair price. Recommend highly. Will use again. read more

I would give more stars if I could. Other companies wanted to total my car. Eddie and his team fixed my car beautifully and quicker than expected. Stellar results! Excellent work and customer service. A big thank you to Eddie and team! read more

Three weeks ago someone keyed my car. This left a large scratch around the exterior of my 2016 Ford Focus. I went through the claims process (USAA) and found myself at Eddie's. Eddie personally worked with me to help me understand how his team of professionals would repair my car back to new. He explained the process of his communication with the Claims team over at USAA and answered all of my questions. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday and had my car back by a Friday! Easy! He had a loaner car available as well for me to use in the meantime to commute to and from work. I cannot express how happy I was to pick up my car! It was cleaned, vacuumed, and detailed inside and out. It looked better than when I purchased my vehicle from Lithia! I so appreciate the extra care Eddie and his team took with my car and my situation. Thank you!! I would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for honest quality work! read more

A week ago, I accidentally scratched my White Crystal Pearl 2020 Subaru Outback. My husband knew that I was very upset with the blemish on my car and suggested that I call Eddie's Paint Works. Eddie is honest, knowledgable and cheerful. After inspecting the blemish on my car, Eddie gave us two options. Option 1 was to remove the door, frame and molding. Option 2 was to buff and repaint the blemish on the door and the bumper. Eddie recommended Option 2, and if I was unhappy with the work, we could discuss Option 1. Eddie's knowledge showed, through his expertise, on how to repaint my car. Eddie and his team does amazing work; my car is brand new again. Eddie's cheerfulness made my day. My husband and I are so grateful and impressed with Eddie's approach to his business, ethics and demeanor. If you want a small business owner to repair any damage to your car, Eddie's Paint Work is the auto body repair shop to go to for honesty, excellent customer service and knowledge. Eddie will make your day as he made my day. Thank you, Eddie read more

I would give 10 stars if I could! I had a big scrape on my fender from pulling out of my garage. Eddie took one look and fixed it in 10 mins FOR FREE!! He could have quoted me like $1,600 to redo my whole side panel but instead he cleaned all the garage paint off and hand painted the now small chip. It looks perfect and I am so grateful I went there! Absolutely 10/10 would recommend this hometown spot and will go back there for any of my car paint needs. read more

Eddie's Paint Works - Didn't take a before but I wish I had! - Body Shops Near Me - Cotati, California

After a tree fell on our SUV on New Year's Eve (welcome 2023!), I browsed Auto Body Shops and found a few I had heard about via radio commercials on KRUSH and looked at their ratings...then, I found Eddie's Paint Works. With a smile, Eddie's took care of the insurance claim and rental from ENTERPRISE in RP. Though I was given a timeline of up to 2 weeks, I got my car within a week! The work, including the paint job, is impeccable! Interestingly enough, when I talked to my insurance folks and also was online with them, they suggested 4 other body shops in the area other than Eddie's. But I stuck with Eddie's and I'm SO GLAD I did! From the moment I took my SUV to Eddie's I was treated by ALL employees with kindness and respect. I'm an experienced woman of 70+ with expectations of civility (I lived beautifully through the Summer of Love). No matter what your age, go to Eddie's Paint Works...you'll be glad you did! read more

Eddies Paint works came highly recommended by Victory Chevrolet as well as friends. I contacted Eddie after my car was keyed by someone in a parking lot. My front quarter panel and driver door were keyed really badly.. it was disappointing driving my car.. Eddie handled my case very professionally and with confidence. After contacting my insurance company, they preferred I send my car down to one of their "certified" autobody shops however when I mentioned Eddies Paint works the adjustor backed off and said he had worked with Eddie for years and never heard any complaints. Took my car in without a blink of an eye. Drove off with a complimentary loaner vehicle and four days later my shiny black Vette was back to life! Paint job looks stunning! No sign of any vandalism. The new paint is blended and matches the rest of the car perfectly. Job well done! Thank you read more

My car was hit in a parking lot and of course, they left no note. Called Eddie's Paint Work and they took it right in. They handled all the insurance nonsense, did a beautiful job on my car and even gave it back to me all clean, which it was not before. Great job! Highly recommend! read more

A truly great shop with a group of highly professional and friendly people. Eddie and his crew were fantastic to work with, and I couldn't be happier with the job they did on my Mazda CX-5 after someone backed into us. I honestly think the paint looks better now than when it was new. If I ever need paint and body work again, I will definitely be going back to Eddie's. read more

Eddie's is GREAT for all your auto body repairs. Last week someone scraped our left front bumper on our old "gofer" Lexus SUV. I didn't think any professional body shop would want to bother with it. I was running errands between Lowes and Costco and passed Eddies on the way . Turned around and drove in. Explained my "wish list " to the lady in the front office who was very courteous and helpful. Eddie came out and greeted me, and looked at the scrape. Eddie gave me my choices and the cost. I took the cheap quick approach which worked out right for me and our old car. I could not be more pleased. If anything happens to crash into our Lexus I am definitely taking it to Eddie. read more

I went to Eddie's with my Toyota Matrix after having called around to several auto body shops about some work that needed to be done He was hands down the best customer service, explaining his pricing and what my options were. I took my car to his shop and he gave me an estimate. Again, his customer service was stellar, and I was planning on going back to him to have him do the work, but two days later I was in an accident, and had my car towed to his shop. It was 100% the other drivers fault, but her insurance company was being awful in how they handled things, and he was a huge help navigating it all. In the end, my car was totaled, and not repaired, but Eddie took an awful situation and helped make it easier. If I need auto body work in the future, I will go to his shop. He was very professional, great customer service, went above and beyond in his assistance with me, even though it didn't provide him revenue, he took care of his customer, and from that level of integrity, I trust the bar is also set high for his work. Other reviewers will attest to that, but on customer service he gets high marks. read more

After a hit and run on my truck I took it to Eddie and couldn't be happier, these guys know what there doing and had my truck looking better then new, even polished out some other scratches on the bed from going through the mountains! I've gone to school for auto body repair and have an auto detailing business Dr. Detail. My eye and knowledge of this industry is higher then most. Eddies is the only shop I recommend. Most collision repair shops miss the small details of the repair. Hard lines in jambs, overspray on adjacent panels and or glass, too much orange peel in the paint, lack of block sanding, die back due to using the wrong reducer. The list goes on. I've sent Eddie several of my clients, picky ones. He does not disappoint. Part of the reason may have to do with the fact they do collision repair and frame of restorations too. I know myself I can't turn on and off a mind set from excellent to good enough. Or restoration to collision repair. As a customer of your collision repair insurance company it's your choice what shop you bring it to. Simply put, the end result is suppose to be "pre accident condition"! If overspray, hard lines in jambs, wrong paint texture and other things I see all the time were already existing on your vehicle then take it to just any shop. If having look so good you truly can't tell it's been repaired, this is the shop for you. It may sound like he's my friend but he's not, Eddie is just like me. He does not compromise and does an excellent job every time. I respect him greatly and don't want consumers to be disappointed. read more

If I could give Eddie 10 stars, I would without a doubt! I am a car guy, and have done some of my own body and paint work in the past. I'm a perfectionist, and a stickler for detail. I have had terrible experiences with body shops in my local area, from big names, to small. I was worried about my paint being matched, as my car is a 3 stage pearl white. I found Eddie's here on Yelp, and recognized the orange 68 Camaro in the posted pictures from the local car shows. The car looked flat out incredible! Based on seeing this car previously, and the reviews here, I chose Eddie. Boy am I happy I did!!! This is the type of small business that we need to support in our area, the big shops treat you, and your car like a number. Get em in, get em out! Not Eddie, I felt comfortable with him immediately. My schedule is hectic, and he worked with me to make it all happen. He set up a rental car, was professional, personable, and and all around pleasure to work with. Jamie was also great, she dealt with my insurance who was fighting me, and stayed after hours to get my car back to me. Alex did a beautiful job detailing some unrelated spots around my car, and it now looks absolutely gorgeous! I will always come to Eddie's for repairs from here out, and would definitely recommend everyone else do the same! My next project car is going straight to Eddie too. I can't say enough about Eddie's paint works, a real class act! Thank you!! read more

I highly recommend Eddie's Paint Works. First, let me say that I love my 4Runner and I don't just let anyone work on her. When I had an unfortunate incident on the freeway a friend recommended that I got to Eddie. From the beginning he was prompt, answered all of my questions and was a complete professional. After talking to him for a bit and reviewing his work and other reviews online I knew this was the right place that would treat my truck with the special care she deserves. If you need any body work done, any paint job done (custom or basic), Eddie's Paint Works is definitely the place to go. I have some visions for work I want done on my truck and he offered some fantastic recommendations. You can tell that Eddie is passionate about his work and works with integrity and complete professionalism. I'm so happy with his work on my 4 Runner!! read more

Eddie's Paint Works - Body Shops Near Me - Cotati, California

I am convinced this is one of, if not the best body shops in the Sonoma-Marin area. I had a simple job request - paint two brand new Jeep doors that had already been primed. I contacted at least 6 other body shops in Sonoma and Marin counties, and was so disappointed with the subpar customer service and outrageous pricing that I was about to give up. Thank God I found Eddie's. Ryan answered my call, exemplified the best customer service anyone could ever expect, and gave me an initial quote (pending inspection) of about 35% of the ridiculous quotes I received elsewhere (in other words, if a competitor's quote was $1,000, Ryan's was $350)! I am not exaggerating. At such a drastic cost difference, you might think they compromise on quality. They don't. I elected to not "fan in" the paint job in order to ensure guaranteed paint match because it's a Jeep that will eventually get scratched up anyway. Well, Alex did such a fantastic paint job with his attention to detail when initially matching the existing vehicle's paint that I cannot see any difference at all; it is immaculate and much better than I ever expected. Lastly, I need to offer one more praise to their customer service. There happened to be a hiccup with the timeliness of the job due to extenuating circumstances. Yet, where there could have been room for customer disappointment, the superbly professional employees at Eddie's wouldn't allow it; they made it right. Notice I gave them 5 stars despite the slight hiccup. I hope this speaks to how pleased I was with my interactions and transaction with Eddie's. I could not give them anything less than 5 stars - they are that good. If you don't want to make your decision off of the reviews here, just go to their shop and check out what they do. Their dedication to their craft, their genuine excitement and interest in what they do everyday shows. They're doing some great work and will be glad to show you around. If I ever have more body work to get done, I'm going to Eddie's. This is what I expect out of a true body shop. They have the skills and willingness to do more creative jobs than the majority of other shops around here. read more

Eddie's Paint Works is an excellent Body Shop. I have taken my vehicles to other shops over the years and Eddie truly stands out. He's very nice, runs a legit shop, and is a great communicator (he called me every time new info came about re: my insurance claim etc). I've personally done body work and took classes many years ago, so I know what to look for in a shop. Eddie met all my expectations. He was even able to identify a problem with my truck's frame, which another local shop didn't see...thank God! I'd hate to have had the repair work done with another shop and be driving down the road crooked to this day. Eddie worked hard to make sure my truck had the OEM Parts that it had before the accident. He was in my corner from the start, even fighting the insurance company for me. He was very thorough in making sure the truck looked perfect...even better than it had driven in. I recommend Eddie without reservation. He's a true stand up guy in a world of shady body shops and unhelpful insurance companies. He always kept his word and did the job right. My truck looks awesome. He even had the truck detailed before I drove it out. The last time my truck looked this good was when it was driven off the dealer's lot new. Don't go to another shop, don't pass go, go and see Eddie! You won't be disappointed. Signed, A truly satisfied customer! read more

Eddie has someone of an attitude to his customers that confuses me I get the feeling he wants me to kiss his ass or some shit I did go in there kind of heavy on the heart about my vehicle so dealing with his noxious ass I found very disheartening you must be doing really good because you don't need customers I guess kissing his ass it's part of the requirements do you have your vehicle accepted into his shop what a trick good luck in life Eddie you going to need it my recommendation is find another shop cuz this guy is going to rake you price wise so bad you going to feel the pain again good luck in life baby and you'll need it read more

1) Eddy gave us an honest estimate. We got estimates from 5 well known shops and all of them (with the exception of Eddy) were totally bogus. The other shops put together estimates which did not include major items which needed to be repaired. 2) Great communication - Very straightforward and easy to talk to. Eddy called to give us updates regularly. 3) No surprises - the work was done as in the manner agreed to. No hidden costs. 4) Top quality - body work looks great. Everything lines up properly and the paint matches perfectly. If you need paint / body work, I highly suggest you stop by and talk to Eddy and get an estimate. read more
