Torn off the front
Rew C.

I had an accident in Healdsburg on the 31st of May leaving the gas station this HUGE truck is parked in the out lane at the station so I decided to pull up next to him and then he takes off into me. And his name is George McConnell in Windsor to which he lied to the insurance company about what had happened saying it was not his fault total bs!! So then I take it you to Eurocal the auto repair shop to which they give me a huge price to repair it. And I say I have to pay for it so Billy takes off some of the charges because I stopped them from fixing the back quarter panel to which I think it should be a lot less, but he's not coming down any so I look up auto repair shops around town and ask some friends. Well my friend Lynne and Todd recommended Downtown Autobody. One of the last places I took it too and the Best estimate. At 8,500 down from 11,800 at Eurocal and I go with Mike at Downtown Autobody!! And the guy is so on it. He communicates with me the entire time and they had a car for me to use while my suv was being repaired and a week later I got my SUV back and I'm so happy with it!! Thank you to Mike and the entire staff at Downtown Autobody you all did a great job for me!?

Great shop to work with. Mike was very helpful with the process of getting my car fixed. Him and his team took good care of me. I 100% recommend taking your vehicle to get fixed here. Made my car look brand new all over again. Thanks Mike

Side panel and front bumper replaced and painted to match the rest of the car!

The guys at Downtown autobody really took care of us! Fair price compared to other estimates I had done. As a woman with little car knowledge, they didn't try to take advantage. I was very satisfied with the communication and the service they provided! Just got the car back and it looks fabulous! You would never know it was damaged or that just one area was repainted! 10/10 recommend taking your vehicle to Downtown Autobody! And they did a quick repair on the spot to my other vehicle! Really a great place!

Crushed ladder before.

Quote for dime size shallow door ding?

Can anything be done with badly oxidized black paint on my 2002 Pathfinder?

If anything can be done, I'm sure the pros at Downtown Autobody can do it. Just give them a call and ask, or better yet, just drop by and have them look at the car. I'm sure they will give you an honest opinion about what needs to be done and a… Read more

He was also…read morestraight up with me about everything and never did I feel I was being steered into something that wasn't in my best interest. Eddy is also very knowledgeable, as you'd hope a guy who runs any kind of auto shop would be, and offered multiple solutions to me. This is probably the best place you could take your car for any kind of problem and that's exactly what I will be doing moving forward.

I'll start by saying that I am by far the pickiest guy I know when it comes to cars in general, and…read moreespecially paint matching on auto body repairs. I have owned several cars with prior paintwork, and not a single one of them ever stopped bugging me, and not a single other person in my life ever even noticed. So, that's me. Let's talk about Eddie's Paint Works: I absolutely cannot recommend Eddie and the team here highly enough. They repaired my wife's Ford Mustang Mach-E (got hit on the passenger's door) with a warm pearl white paint color - not an easy color to nail. I absolutely, positively, CANNOT tell that the car was ever hit, nor that it was partially repainted and blended. It's incredible. I'm simply blown away in a way that's hard to put into words - I went 38 years of life thinking that no paint repair could ever be undetectable, and here I am, proven wrong. In addition to incredible artisan-quality paintwork, Eddie used new parts directly from Ford for the repair and even took the car to a Ford dealer to make sure all the safety sensors were properly recalibrated. Eddie is a true "car guy" and I found this shop by looking for shops that people trusted with their true pride and joy - sports cars, hot rods, etc. Trust those people. This was my first time dealing with an insurance claim and Eddie was incredibly helpful in educating me about the process and providing me with some advice and guidance. He worked seamlessly with my insurance and it was overall just a totally painless process. In CA, YOU have the right to choose what shop to get your car repaired at - your insurance can't tell you where to go. Do yourself a favor and go to Eddie! I hope I don't get in an accident anytime soon, but if I do, at least now I know I can go to Eddie and everything will turn out perfectly. I'll never look for another auto body shop as long as I live here and as long as Eddie is around.

Jose and the front desk staff were so accommodating and professional, they made an otherwise stressful situation less stressful. I really don't know how to rate this. Ultimately I settled on two stars because while the initial…read moreresult was not even worth one star, once they resolved the problems with their work it's an easy five star result. Short version: Initially the quality and workmanship of Crash Champion Rohnert Park's repair of my Tesla was absolutely awful. But after rejecting it once and some additional communication they did fix the car correctly and now that it's done it looks exceptional and looks like nothing ever happened to it. Long version: My Tesla ended up here after someone crashed into it. I had taken it to their Napa location, which was local to me, but they aren't Tesla certified, so they brought it to Rohnert Park for me. Since they are affiliated with AAA (the insurance company of the person that crashed into me that was handling the claim) it was totally hassle-free to have the quote approved and get the work started. They were very prompt to do the initial estimate and get the parts ordered. When they called me to tell me my car was done I paid for an Uber all the way from Napa to Rohnert Park to go get it. When I picked it up I did notice the front license plate bracket wasn't stuck on properly (on the Tesla the front plate mount just uses double-sided tape) but I was in a hurry and figured I could deal with it later. Unfortunately, later when I took more time to inspect my car I saw multiple issues, most of them very obvious. 1, the A pillar was still bent, 2, the license plate wasn't just taped incorrectly, it was completely off center. 3. The front bumper was not aligned correctly 4. There were multiple specks of debris of some sort in the surface of the paint. 5. There was a service error/notification on the vehicle display that the camera software version was not correct. This one doesn't really matter because I let the car update itself and it fixed itself but regardless it wasn't like that when I dropped it off and who wants to pick up their car with errors on the screen? So the next day I returned the car to the Napa location and showed them the problems. They were very understanding and agreed with me that these were real issues that I was not just being picky about. Well, after speaking to the management at both the Napa and Rohnert Park locations and them personally ensuring the work was done correctly the second time around, I have my car back, and they did an awesome job. If it had been this way the first time this review would have been five stars all the way around. But the fact that they even let me know the car was ready when it was in such poor condition astounds me. I know mistakes happen, and in this day and age everyone is busy, pressure is coming from above to get things done fast and cheap while the actual technicians doing the work are probably juggling a hundred cars for not enough pay for the hard work that they undoubtedly do... but regardless if it's a $5 job or the $11,500+ job that this one was, it is likely a culture issue or process issue if a car can leave the shop in this condition. Because you know there are multiple people involved in fixing a car and anywhere along the way any of them could have spoke up and said "this doesn't look quite right, should we alert a manager to get a second opinion if we need to adjust this or if it's OK?" Anyway, all that said, I'm happy now that I have my car back. But, sometime in between the time when I had to reject my car and when it was finally done the rental car got dented in a parking lot. So now Crash Champion's mess-up is going to cost me money out of pocket to either fix the rental car or having to make an insurance claim with my insurance for that issue. Sure, it's not their fault that something happened to my rental car, but if they had fixed the car right the first time I would have not had my rental car. So it's just an unfortunate situation all around. I will say, everyone I spoke with here throughout this process was very friendly and professional and did really seem to care. Joanna and Jose were my main points of contact. BUT given that the car should have been fixed right the first time, and apparently the caring doesn't extend to the consistency of the results, friendly doesn't solve frustrating.
