They did a great job with the repairs, and they even detailed my car so nicely! It looked so good when I got it back. Then, wouldn't you know it, a woman named Nancy hit my car door at my apartment complex! I was dreading how much it was going to cost to fix-the extreme door slam, but Downtown Auto Body recommended Brian from Dent Pro. Let me tell you, Brian did an AWESOME job too! The repair came out great, and it cost me just a fraction of what I thought I was going to have to spend. So now I've had great experiences with both Downtown Auto Body and Brian from Dent Pro. I had been recommended this place by another automotive business for a big scratch along the passenger side of my 2023 Nissan Leaf. I had been putting off dealing with the scratch because the last time i had a fender bender issue and had to go through insurance with an auto body shop, I'd had a bad experience with the rental car company they used trying to pin me with a ticket that wasn't mine, and long crazy story unrelated here. I had gone back to the same auto body shop (because it appeared they did a good job and they were very nice people, rental car not really their fault). But even though, to me it looked like a smaller job, they told to me it would be another biggish job, reaching into near $5000 to repair with panels, bumper, and paint repair, where I'd need a rental car co again so i had put it off, for fear of using rental car co, plus i have a $1000 deductible (ouch). To make a long story shorter i came into Downtown auto, upon referral, and met with a very nice guy, Martin. He took a look at my scratches and actually buffed them all out on the spot! (wow!) and gave me a bid to fix my front bumper for less than my deductible so i wouldn't even need to go through the insurance and rent a car! Plus, he said it'd be done in like 2 hours. I made the appointment and can't wait to update this review further. Btw, it's a comfortable waiting area, with nice glass viewing windows to see what's going on with your ride. Had to visit Downtown autobody again nobody hit my car in the parking lot. They just did it such a beautiful job took care of everything dealt with the insurance company. I didn't have to deal with them at all. It was just a wonderful experience in my car is so beautiful and you know I don't even wanna drive it. I always wanna put on a showroom floor. I had an accident in Healdsburg on the 31st of May leaving the gas station this HUGE truck is parked in the out lane at the station so I decided to pull up next to him and then he takes off into me. And his name is George McConnell in Windsor to which he lied to the insurance company about what had happened saying it was not his fault total bs!! So then I take it you to Eurocal the auto repair shop to which they give me a huge price to repair it. And I say I have to pay for it so Billy takes off some of the charges because I stopped them from fixing the back quarter panel to which I think it should be a lot less, but he's not coming down any so I look up auto repair shops around town and ask some friends. Well my friend Lynne and Todd recommended Downtown Autobody. One of the last places I took it too and the Best estimate. At 8,500 down from 11,800 at Eurocal and I go with Mike at Downtown Autobody!! we are such huge fans of Downtown Autobody! We just bought our 2015 pleasure Way Sprinter van and SPENCER has been absolutely amazing. He has helped us by installing grab handles, window awnings, and most recently when some jerk off ran into the side of our van and peeled off the driver side mirror, he came to our rescue before a two month trip and fixed everything! I visited Downtown Autobody with no appointment to get an estimate, after a loaner in my possession was damaged. Martin grabbed a clipboard and came out to the lot to observe the damage. He explained the whole process, insurance claim vs. self-pay. Expected timing of the job, the methods in which they repair, just all-around great advice. In this case, the car's current condition (clear coat peeling hood and roof), mileage and KBB value wasn't worth a small cosmetic fix like this. I stopped by Downtown Auto a few days ago, to talk to them about a scratch on my car. One the guys came out to talk to me his Martin Bayola. He checked the scratch an immediately recommended that I order a can of touch up paint from the dealer, and when I get it to bring it over to the shop and he'll touch the scratch for me. I received the paint yesterday so I went to see Martin. He graciously did the the touch up and didn't charge me at all. I've been goin to Downtown Auto for years and they always Came through for me. I called to ask when their next available appointment would be to get a quote for a few door dings and scuffs on my passenger side. I was told to come on down anytime today before 5. Wow, what an awesome experience! I did some research on line and this place had some positive comments. I was not sure if I wanted to repair the damage to my car since in a few months I will pass it down to my teenage twin daughters. The owner said it would be a few thousand to repair, but given the circumstances, he suggested I just "buff it out". Since I have no idea how one does this, I asked him how much that would cost and he actually said no cost, if I could bring it back the next day. True to his word, I brought it back, and he had someone buff out the entire length of my car and while I could see the dents from where I was side-swiped, it looked a thousand times better and I saw no need to have anything further done. Part of my job is executive coaching, and a big piece of that is explaining (sometimes slowly and painfully) the VERY basics of good customer service and how to encourage that in an organization. After working with Downtown Autobody after I had a minor accident, I feel like I should just refer my clients to them for coaching because the customer service they provided was the best I've had in over a decade!!! Kind, responsive, clear, proactive, honest, flexible... name the positive adjective and they embodied it. I took my Subaru Impreza there last week to repair some damage to the bumper and undercarriage. First, my insurance company had led me astray on the claims process. Martin steered me in the right direction for my interaction with the insurance company, calmly and kindly. Second, they fixed my car SOONER than their estimate. They originally told me ~3 days and it was done in 2. Third, took care of all interactions with Enterprise in terms of returning my rental car BEFORE I EVEN LEFT THE BUILDING. Third, my wife and I noticed a noise was present on our drive back home. Martin DROVE TO OUR HOUSE to pick up the car and take it back to the shop, while returning my rental car AFTER PROACTIVELY EXPLAINING THE CHANGE TO ENTERPRISE! Fourth, they don't specialize in the type of issue that was causing the noise, so they took my car to a nearby AAA to do the work. Fifth, Martin drove my car back to my house. And to be clear, I'm not right next door. I'm about a 20-25 minute drive away. He was on the road for over an hour and a half to make sure we were taken care of.
