My experience at G&C couldn't have been any better. I called ahead to see if they could fix the driver's window of my Honda, the electrical part had stopped working resulting in some real awkward visits to the McDonald's drive-through when I had to open the car door to hand off $ and pick up food. Alex assured me the fix should be simple, so I scheduled a time to bring the car in so he could order the part. During the initial consultation, I asked about headlight restoration, and either because of the holiday season or COVID mania, I was told they would do the headlights for free. Now, I don't know where you're from, but I had just come up from SF to Sonoma, and in the city, nothing is free. Except maybe an expletive-laced tongue lashing from a stranger on the street, or a pile of animal (or human) waste on your doorstep. The part came in the following day, so I took the car back and left it a few hours. My window is back in fine running order, and my 2007 Honda headlights look like a million bucks. Price was much less than I expected, although it's true I have little to compare it to. Thanks for taking care of my girl!

After a game of frogger with Bambi (And losing), I needed to get my car repaired ASAP. After working through Geico, I got an appointment immediately with G&C Auto Body that same morning. Dealing with G&C was great and the job would of been taken care of quicker, but we all had to wait on the weekly visit from Geico before we could move forward (Two days after the accident). Brittany who mans the front desk at G&C was absolutely wonderful and Luis the General Manager was awesome, an absolute straight shooter. So even before the Geico claims adjuster showed up two days later, I already had a damage assessment in my hands so I knew what was expected in regards to the deductible. So the accident occurred on Monday morning, work began on Thursday and the whole job was done by Saturday, I'd say that is pretty quick work for a full bumper replacement, headlights, and hood and side panel realignment. Luis was even kind enough to touch up some spots that had chips that would of cost more for no fee at all! Now I can say that I have never had extensive work done on my car, so this was a first time experience, but a very positive one and also one that I could recommend to anyone else looking for car body work.

I don't remember who told me about O.D.D. Parts and that they could repair this part but after a five year nightmare unsuccessfully battling with Ferrari to source the part for myself and other unfortunate 355 Spider owners, I needed outside help. While I could have shipped the part to him, I decided to personally visit O.D.D. Parts as I only live an hour and a half away. Any excuse to visit beautiful Sonoma County. Let me be clear, this part is integral to the safe operation of Ferrari 355 convertible tops and is not available anywhere on this planet. Jim had assured me on the phone that he had developed a "fix" for this part and had done many of them already. When I got to his operation, it literally is an artists' enclave and after seeing his work on impossible to find parts, it was clear he was an artist as well. He repaired my part right in front of me, gave us a little tour of his shop and his work, introduced us to his protege Matt who will be the next generation of fabricators and then took us on a golf cart tour of the property. A trek to get a part fixed became a delightful adventure. Jim fabricates parts for multi-million dollar show cars but what he charged me to repair my part was absolutely a bargain, especially when considering, to my knowledge, these parts don't exist anywhere on this planet. I just finished installing my repaired Ferrari potentiometer part #64978300 in my car and everything works perfectly. My five year nightmare is over thanks to Jim at O.D.D. Parts. While you may not be as fortunate as I to live in Northern California and visit Jim personally, check his website out or give him a call if you have a problem with a rare or obsolete part. Be sure to check his operation out. I am so glad I did.

I have owned several cars with prior paintwork, and not a single one of them ever stopped bugging me, and not a single other person in my life ever even noticed. So, that's me. Let's talk about Eddie's Paint Works: I absolutely cannot recommend Eddie and the team here highly enough. They repaired my wife's Ford Mustang Mach-E (got hit on the passenger's door) with a warm pearl white paint color - not an easy color to nail. I absolutely, positively, CANNOT tell that the car was ever hit, nor that it was partially repainted and blended. It's incredible. I'm simply blown away in a way that's hard to put into words - I went 38 years of life thinking that no paint repair could ever be undetectable, and here I am, proven wrong. In addition to incredible artisan-quality paintwork, Eddie used new parts directly from Ford for the repair and even took the car to a Ford dealer to make sure all the safety sensors were properly recalibrated. Eddie is a true "car guy" and I found this shop by looking for shops that people trusted with their true pride and joy - sports cars, hot rods, etc. Trust those people. This was my first time dealing with an insurance claim and Eddie was incredibly helpful in educating me about the process and providing me with some advice and guidance. He worked seamlessly with my insurance and it was overall just a totally painless process. In CA, YOU have the right to choose what shop to get your car repaired at - your insurance can't tell you where to go. Do yourself a favor and go to Eddie! I hope I don't get in an accident anytime soon, but if I do, at least now I know I can go to Eddie and everything will turn out perfectly. I'll never look for another auto body shop as long as I live here and as long as Eddie is around.

When I arrived at DeWitt's I went inside and informed the woman in the office I had a tire that I thought had a nail in it. She asked me to leave the keys in the vehicle and someone would take a look. A young man came out and didn't say a word or give me eye contact. He drove into the shop and removed the tire. About 30 minutes later I was told the job was done and it would be $50. I know, inflation and all, but the last time I had a nail removed it was around $20. I didn't think to ask to see what he found in the tire. On all other tire repair occasions I was always shown what was in the tire. As I was leaving, the low tire pressure light was still on. I went back inside and asked the woman one, did they check all the tires to make sure they had the correct tire pressure and two, would they reset the low tire pressure light. I was told they usually check all tires to make sure they have the right air pressure (usually). That I needed to drive the vehicle 20 miles and the light would go off. I drove over 400 miles and the light is still on. I Googled how to reset the light and I need to release air out of each tire in order for the light to go off. Let's think about that. If the tires are inflated to the correct pressure and I need to let air out of each tire to reset the light, wouldn't it be best to do this at a shop where they can over inflate the tires or be able to put the lost air back in the tires? The tire repair may be excellent, but the overall customer service coming out of the shop was very disappointing.
