My post-op visits to his office were very efficient, and nurses and staff most courteous. Dr. Gittings is very approachable, sincere, and explains things very clearly. She also took into account past trauma I've experienced and made sure that nothing about my procedure or recovery would be triggering. Her empathy, professionalism, and gentle reassurance made all the difference. Jen is the kind of nurse who truly changes lives -- I will never forget her kindness. I also want to mention Yuri, the receptionist who checked me in. She was polite, professional, and very pleasant -- a great first impression at check-in. Unfortunately, the experience at discharge was very different. The receptionist seated on the right side of the front desk was extremely rude and dismissive to my mom when she came to pick me up after surgery. Her tone and attitude were completely uncalled for, and it was upsetting after such compassionate care from everyone else.
