Great service and explained everything excellent customer service. Very busy place but they get stuff done.

Quick service. Paid the quoted price! No tricks no games. Very pleased. Fairly new car no longer under warranty. I have found a place.

Very good shop, the owner is a very respectful guy, good prices for the speed and quality of the work performed on my car

I felt they were honest mechanics which is hard to find. The price fare not to much compared to others.

I had caught flat on highway and Im So glad my Google search for tire repair lead me here. Quick, honest and affordable service! Thank you so much Alex! Highly recommend! read more

Awful and rude service. Took my car for alignment before I had new wheels installed, car came out pulling to right the side. They told to come back after new wheels were installed to correct alignment. So wheels installed and I'm back. First thing I ask the owner is to pls be careful not to scratch the new wheels, and he tells "I can't guarantee I won't scratch them... if you want to enjoy them w/out scratch use them now and come back after you scratch them"... really??? No need to say that I turned around and left, to never go back to this place. Emplyee is also VERY rude, ignores customers when they walk in and seems to be always in a bad mood. Not happy?! You have a better chance of finding a Stanford educated Liberal froggin' in Autauga Creek Alabama than finding a decent honest mechanic in South Florida. Though finding a mechanic in South Florida is not exactly like finding a needle in a haystack, it sure is close to it. https://youtu.be/Os0lCoxJIzs Most Floridians are veterans when it comes to ghastly experiences with auto mechanics. For instance you have the Cartel of Tire Kingdom mechanics and reps who work on "commission", yes that's right I said commission, and they only see you as a well seasoned pig on a stick. I've seen people being charged $1500 for a $200 brake job at this place, and don't forget the " oh we can't do the wheel alignment", unless of course you agree to do the unnecessary work on your car. Then you have the geniuses that love when you have an emergency and you tow your car to them. You're better off being prepared by calling your credit card ahead of time and requesting an emergency credit card limit increase when you go to these jack-tards. Then I love the mechanics that may not purposely screw up your car so you return to them within a week or two, nor pretend to replace auto-parts that are not obvious to the eye, but they base their price on your appearance. Then there's the Auto dealer, I called my local Nissan dealer once to replace an A/C condenser and they quoted me $900 labor when everywhere else quoted me about $100. Then the worst are places like Larry's Service Center in Miami Beach which encompasses all of the above and worse, they love to ripp-off women. At Larrys it doesn't matter what kind of auto repair you need to do, the process is the same for everyone. You have to make an appointment and leave your car for hours, only later to be quoted hundreds if not over a grand for unnecessary and grossly overpriced work Well at Dania Motors I don't have to worry a out any of those Baal'zebubian like experiences. This place is operated by a Russian expat named Alex who is as straight as a 1970's marine sergeant. https://youtu.be/3j3_iPskjxk So what do I love about this place? 1. they do excellent mechanic work 2. they do all major mechanic work 3. stability in mechanics, I've seen the same mechanics working there since I first came here about a year ago 4. they have a clean waiting room with chairs, sofas, a large flat screen TV and a coffee machine. 5. bathrooms are spotless and designer like. 6. they will install customer parts 7. they take all CC's So far I've done my brakes, replaced a control arm, engine mounts, changed oil, replaced a CV Joint, replaced wheel bearing, wheel alignment and all done at reasonable prices and wait time. Dania Motors is one of only two mechanics I will go to, the other being in Miami. I highly recommend this mechanic, especially for women. ++ they sell used tires. ++ they are near the airport if you need to rent a car ++ he has groupon deals read more

I went here 100% because of the Yelp reviews. I called and he was closing in an hour but he said if I got there in 5 minutes he would do an oil change for me. There was a coupon on YELP that if you check in there you get a discounted oil change. Well the oil change cost me 2x the amount that the coupon said because he told me it was an old coupon and he wouldn't honor it. Thank you for your service but I will not do business again. As someone who works in the customer service field, I would have honored the coupon and let them know for future reference the price. read more

It's hard to find a mechanic that you can trust, that does good repairs on your vehicle, and won't overcharge you. I think I finally found one right here at Dania motors. I've been here a number of times. Alex listens to the problem, checks it out, and does a great job repairing it. When I make an appointment for service my car is taken on time! The prices are fair and the hours are convenient. read more

Extremely disappointed with my experience today. Before I post my gripe, I feel obligated to mention that I've had two previous positive experiences with Alex and Dania Motors. Up until today, he has always been up front and made me feel important as a customer. I dropped off my Tahoe yesterday afternoon with a leak in the brake line. The leak was bad enough that it had no business being on the road. I met with Alex late Thursday afternoon (he had two bays open and no waiting customers in the office) and informed him how important it was that my truck get fixed as soon as possible as I was driving my friends and family up to NC in 3 days. He claims that he never heard this despite his head nods and interest in my story. He assured me that he would do "everything possible to get it fixed" and ready. After not hearing from Alex all day (despite him starting to work on it the day before), I called him around 2 PM for an update. Alex tells me that he has no time to fix my truck as "some smaller jobs came in and I took care of those." Followed by, "I can't get to your truck until some time next week." Effin' unbelievable!! I took my truck to his #1 competitor Franco's Automotive and they gladly took on the job. No unrealistic or fake promises from Franco. I think that we can all agree that honesty is #1 among those of us who are not mechanically inclined. I will never go back to Alex and Dania Motors. read more

Dania Motors - Btw, Alex and his employees scratched my truck - Auto Repair Near Me - Dania Beach, Florida

I'm very wary about someone touching my car because; as I've often said, I've had more harm done to my car by poor mechanics than by wear and tear. I was in Florida for the winter and wanted to change the motor oil in my Saab before heading north in the spring. I was outside of Miami, in Hollywood. Simple, right? Well, I don't trust those "Lube" chains - I once had my car over-filled by a quart, which is more dangerous to the engine than being under-filled, but I called one anyway, just to see what they would charge me for an oil change with filter and 5-30w full synthetic oil. $99, they said. Now,with that benchmark number, I looked for a foreign car mechanic in the area. Yelp listed a foreign auto repair shop close to me, but when I pulled into their lot, a guy came running toward me from the shop, waving me away, saying, "No Saabs!". I said "But it's just an oil change.", but he insisted "Sorry, no - we don't touch those cars." Ok. Back to Yelp. Yelp listed Dania Motors as a foreign car repair shop, and it had 8 great reviews. It wasn't too far away, so I drove over. As soon as I walked in, I was impressed when I saw a prominent display of Amsoil products (Amsoil is arguably the very best motor oil you can put in your car). I asked Alex, the proprietor, how much an oil and filter change would run me with Amsoil. He looked up the quantity of oil it would take (4.1 quarts), and said $60. I came back the next day and had the work done. There was a piece of metal stuck in one of the tires that his mechanic noticed, so I had him remove it and plug the tire (better there than get stuck somewhere else later). Chatting with Alex, I could see that he was a very knowledgeable and studious mechanic. When it was all done, Alex told me "you don't need to change the oil every 6,000 miles with this oil - you can go 10,000 before your next oil change." How often does someone tell you that you need to go to them LESS often?! read more

Dania Motors - New sexy tires ) - Auto Repair Near Me - Dania Beach, Florida

Very reliable and high quality quality service, honest and respectful. I would recommend it 100%.

This is a very honest mechanic. I went to one other mechanic before him and the other mechanic was trying to charge me almost $1000.00 to fix all these issues I supposedly had. Alex with Dania Motors fixed my car and only charged me $30.00 because it was a minor fix. I have found me a new mechanic. I always felt like mechanics take advantage when you don't know about cars or being a women but not Alex. He asked for the history on my car and he said he would tell me his honest opinion if it'll be worth it or not to actually fix my car based on the cost. He is the best! read more

This people are crooks. Alex say didn't feel like looking at my car or fixing it but on top of that hold my car hostage by never calling me to give me the keys. Excellent auto repair shop, I use them about last 5 years , always received my car on time and fixed properly, thank you Alex!!!

Being a woman there are several important people outside my family like my nail lady, my facial lady, my hairdresser and my mechanic. I met the owner Alex 12 years ago, and since then keep coming back over and over again. Its a low key small family operated business where everyone works real hard. Having used car (which by the way i bought from them, like my other cars over the years) i need to stop by from now and then. Charge is always reasonable. They have my complete trust, and as we all know its a rare occasion when it comes to car repairs. read more

Great service. I lived in Dania Beach for a few months while in school. I drove my car down from Pennsylvania and needless to say it was not in the best shape to begin with. Alex really helped me out. My car ran just as well as when got it. It's now 13 years old with 160k (and it's a Ford). Dania motors is a great place. They are honest and they do great work. read more

I was referred to this place by a fellow yelper and decided to give them a call. I was calling in regards to pricing due to the fact that Dania is quite far from my current location, so why drive over there, waste time, gas, tolls, etc, if its too expensive. First off, the guy that answered was a wisenheimer to say the least. I asked what is your hourly rate, he dodged that question and asked what I needed fixed. I told him what it was and he said oh that could take hours to fix I don't know how long 200+. I told him that was way too expensive and told him more about the work that needed to be done, cause I myself had done half the job and couldn't figure the rest out. He then told me to do it myself or bring it in tomorrow. We said our goodbyes and that was it. No way in hell I was going there. Today I woke up nice and early and went to work on the car. It took me 30 minutes to do the job & another 30 to do the other job. All I paid was 1.89 cents for the hoses and 9 dollars for the electric wires I needed. Where they came up with 200+ dollars, I DON'T KNOW. I only left 2 stars cause it taught me a few life lessons. When in doubt, just do it yourself and another is don't take anyones word for anything. Some advice for my local citizens, be more knowledgeable about your car and how it works. It's the only way that you can prevent others from taking advantage of you. I don't write this to be cruel or to make this place look bad, I write it because it's what I experienced and I want to make sure no else goes through that experience. Much love and peace to all. read more

Good service, reasonable price. No up-selling pressure, just came in for a simple oil change and got good quick service at a good price. Would go back again! (took away one star b/c they did not accept the coupon/picture I found on the web, but it was several months after that coupon/pic was posted, so that was understandable). read more

Great prices exellent staff would definetly reccomend coming here to anyone going to make this my main auto shop

Great work at very good price. As a tourist who's car broke down while passing through Dania Beach I thought I was sure to get fleeced. But not only did Alex go out of his way to get me back on the road asap, the work was great and the price far cheaper than if I had the work done by my regular mechanic back home. Exceptional job replacing brakes. Fast and priced fairly compared to competition. The older guy who worked there say also friendly even though it was my first time there. Alex and his crew did a great job finding and fixing the shaking on braking on my car. He never tried to over sell me on anything. I have been in Dania Beach for 24 years; however, I only discovered Dania Motors a couple of years ago. Thank God I did. Having gone through multiple garages and even more mechanics, I have Finally found an honest garage with an ultimately honest owner. Alex, the owner, is a smart, competent, and honest person. He is a tremendous mechanic and his staff of mechanics are great too. I have brought my car and my wife's car in for brake work, alignment, oil changes, and engine work. Everything is done timely and honestly. I hate most mechanics because they try to up-sell you thngs that aren't necessary. That is not the case with Alex and Dania Motors. read more

Dania Motors is a used car dealer/mechanic under one roof. After seeing a listing online, I was given a fantastic deal on a great used Durango here a few years back. The Durango is still going strong and I am using the other half of the business to keep it running smoothly. Alex and his staff are highly competent mechanics and any time I have compared their price to the mechanic next door to my office, these guys win by a large margin. As for the cars they sell, I am 1-for-1 and very happy. read more

I've owned many vehicles in my driving career - both imports and domestic - and finding an honest mechanic has always been very, very difficult. Finding an honest mechanic who is truly an expert - especially in diagnostics - is next to impossible. I don't normally recommend ANYBODY in south Florida unless I ABSOLUTELY know beyond a doubt that they ARE what I say they are, and Dania Motors is the only place I take both my vehicles to. We all know that mechanic shops always try to sell you stuff you don't need. Dania motors tell you what you need NOW, what you'll need soon - and a good idea of how soon - and advise you of the 'bandaid' options if you're a little tight this week - just keep in mind a bandaid is only a bandaid. Further, when it comes to the price, they quote bottom dollar - and they stand behind their work, and their word means something. I've been using them for 3yrs now, and I can say that they've earned my loyalty and my trust. So take my word for it, take your car there, have them do what your car needs, and you can put your mind at ease. But if you're going to take this advice, do me a favor, don't be shitty with them - they're already giving you bottom quote. And the last thing THEY need is to waste THEIR time with a shitty customer. If you wanna be shitty, go to Fire Stone - and see what THEY say you need. read more
