Ive been taking my Vehicle there for three years now for service. The old owners did good work but took them a long while to finish a repair. The new owner took my car in the morning and repaired my A/C and Repaired the front wheel bearings on my car. The car was ready before noon time. I have to add that they left My car driving as If it was a new car again from the Factory and the AC a Freezer if you set the temp to low. Thank you gentlemen for repairing my car so quickly. Wow these guys were great to work with. I had come from out of town to purchase a vehicle in the area and wanted to change the oil and fix an issue the truck was having with the parking brake. They got me in super quick, found the issue and fixed it quickly and even let me see the issue under the truck. And the price for all this was great. I felt like they really took care of me even though I'm not a regular customer or anything. If I lived in the area, this would definitely be where I would take my vehicles. read more

When changing my oil they did not install the filter properly and I smelled burning, I went to a different auto shop to check it out snd they found that all the oil leaked out of my engine. If this mechanic had not found this, I would have had to buy a new engine, This was unacceptable and I will never go to this garage again. read more

Very honest, dependable and fast. I have a bmw so I try to be careful with where I take my car to get worked on.. Long story short, Discount Auto Repair resolved all my issues with my car. I came in originally to replace my axle but they revealed to me that one of my control arms was literally floating in the air. They replaced my axle, and bolted my control arm back into place for a reasonable price while also fixing my differential leak within 3-4 hours . I will be bringing my car here again and highly recommend to everyone ! read more

I went for an oil change and the mechanic was really nice but when I went to pay I asked if they could take a look at the engine to see if it needed anything else done (I just bought the car from auction so they usually need some repairs) so I could get an estimate from them but the cashier was really rude and kept cutting me off saying that I had only gotten an oil change and it's was $60 dollars. At the end of the day they lost out on money cause I took it to a different shop and was alerted that the power steering pump needed replacing and a complete fluid change. read more

Wagas and his team are 5 stars!!! Absolutely great, reliable and trustworthy mechanic. I have taken my car and my brothers car here and he has been great! He is very knowledgeable and his prices are highly competitive. He is a mechanic you can trust to do a great job at a fair price and not take advantage of you. These types of mechanics are very hard to come by. He is now my go to mechanic for all my car needs. Thank you Wagas and your team for always taking care of me! read more

I was looking for an auto repair place, checking the reviews on the big places and they were horrible. I drove by this place often and it was always busy. I didn't get the gentleman's name who was orchestrating the whole thing but he was fantastic. I had a noise in my suburban that didn't sound good. He called over a young man named Hassan. He took it for a drive, came back a few minutes later and told me exactly what it was and quoted me a VERY reasonable price and took the vehicle into the bay and fixed it right away. He even brought me into the bay to show me the bad suspension parts. I cannot say enough good things about this place. Being a female usually doesn't work out well with car repair places. They tend to take you for a ride in a bad way and charge more than necessary because they think we're idiots. These guys were so polite and straight up with everything. I can see why they are always busy. Should something go wrong with my suburban in the future, this is the First place I will go. Ladies, you can feel very comfortable coming to these guys with your car problems. Thank you guys for making my day. read more

They were really quick and efficient and fixed my car in time they have reasonable prices!!

Brought in my car for weird bumpy drive, they checked it pretty fast and said I needed to rotate the tires. Pricing was fair and had it fixed within a few hours. Would use them again. read more

3 times I been here already and they always took care of my car. Always straight forward to answers, and the owner is nice and mindful. He would tell you if the job will be needed, and will compare if the cost will be beneficial to the car. There is no force to do the job. They don't drag you into fixing it. They always let me decide, and is open to come back when ever I'm ready for the job. Unlike other mechanics they would add costs and labor without your permission. Not this place they will address you first beforehand which is great! There is also no diagnostic fee which is always a plus. I recommend this place to anyone A+ read more

I can say that this repair shop is one of the most honest and reasonable priced places I've taken my car to get fixed. On two occasions they've had the opportunity to charge me for work that did not have to be done and both times they've been honest and save me a lot of money. Being a woman and trying to get your car fixed for a reasonable price is one of the hardest things because men automatically take advantage because women just jump in the car and go they really don't know too much about cars, so I have to say I really appreciate this please and the owner for always taking care of my car repairs in an honest way. I highly recommend them to anybody that needs repairs done on their vehicles. I promise you will not have to look for another place again!! read more

Worst place ever. I even gave them a second chance. I went for 4 non-mechanical items. After 2 return visits one of the 4 was fixed. I don't have time to keep dropping off my car and hoping they fix it properly. Tonight, the mirror I asked to be reinstalled fell off the window. I had to buy a used mirror unit but seriously should it fall off 2 days after the repair? Door was sticking. That actually got fixed on the second visit. One Headlight needed to be replaced. Brights stay on 24/7. Yup even after 3 visit, still not functioning. And I had asked for the windshield washing fluid to be repaired as some of the tubes were older. Nope. Not functioning. 2 years ago they screwed up my Cadillac. I swore them off. Convenient location had me thinking I'll try once more. Shame on me and bye bye $$$. My advice, find someone else. You won't get what you paid for here. read more

I believe this is a family owned business, it sure feels that way. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. I've fixed several issues, some big and some small on my Jeep with them. The turn out time is very fast compared to other places and the prices are fair. Everyone working there is very friendly and courteous. Hopefully I won't have to but if I need to, I will be back again. read more

Took vehicle for repair estimate for a small job. Mechanic quoted $40 if I supplied parts. Went back for repair and asked if they could do job. Told they were "very busy" There was one vehicle being worked on. I asked when I could come back- no reply. Asked if they need work? No. Leave don't come back. Stepson had car in for repair. When went to pickup, charge for 4X estimate. Wouldn't release car without full payment. When picked up, repair was not done properly and had to be re-done. New mechanic had to undo shoddy repair and fix properly. Bad work Bad attitude. run- don't walk away! Sorry there isn't a zero star rating read more

They are so efficient, fast and honest. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP. I brought my car here a few times, they never overcharge or take advantage of me (even though I am a female). Last saturday, I brought in my mother's car, they checked it and they were honest to tell me the car was fine and needed no repairs. This shop is a gem. I value their honesty so much, I will continue to bring them business. read more

I've been going to Discount Auto Repair for 4 1/2 years. First with my Honda and now with my Toyota Corolla. They are honest and charge very reasonable prices. Go early to get through before the crowd. Lots of people go there because of the great service. Don't expect courteous chatty service - no time for that - they are always busy with lots of cars and people because they are that good. Just tell them what's wrong and they'll get it done as soon as possible - you can wait a few hours or leave and come back for it later that day. read more

A recurring theme in the reviews for this shop is HONESTY. This has also been my experience with Discount Auto Repair. I thought I might need an expensive part replaced but was told it was only an electrical connection. I was on my way in 30 minutes and my wallet didn't suffer. This type of honesty seems rare. I have a friend that works in the business, and he explained to me that many shops are under a lot of pressure to upsell services to meet $$$ per customer quotas. Anyway, this is where I take my car, and it's where you should take your vehicle, too. read more

These guys are honest, knowledgeable, and quick. I thought my starter needed to be replaced which would have cost around $250 but within minutes they told me (and showed me) that it was just a bad terminal and corroded wires which they fixed for a mere $25. That's a huge thing for a woman who has in the past been taken advantage of by other car repair shops! Today, Waqas and Sam earned my business for as long as i live in this area. Thanks Discount Auto Repairs!!! read more

I'm a Mom, an attorney and I own my car, and I don't want a new car payment bc of tutoring sports music lessons you get the picture... I recommend him highly!! I only feel bad bc I have been going to him for over 5 years and I just thought of writing this review!! Shame on me! Fun fact: two women I know that also go to him recommended him to me, and those two women don't even know each other!! His shop is walking distance to a strip mall area. These guys are the absolute best. My father had been going to a mechanic for years and the guy was a crook. Tried to charge my dad $500 for some job and I told him just take it to these guys in Hollywood. So he did and the guys repaired the car which just needed a minor fix and I think he charged my dad like $50 max. I've also taken my car to them telling them another mechanic told me it needs this this this and that. These guys in Hollywood would be like na man it's just blah blah blah, fix it and sometimes won't even charge me. I don't trust mechanics but these guys I trust 100000000%.. if they told me I needed a big job done (hasn't happened yet) I would just get it done with a smile on my face knowing they're not lying to me. Their honesty (and their actual work) goes a loooong way with me. Let's see, Ford just told my wife she needs a $300 job. I'm gonna take it to these guys and I'll be surprised if they charge me $60. read more
