Great auto repair! Ken is knowledgeable, professional and honest. Highly recommend.

Incredible people that care. Like a time warp in 2026. If you are a reasonable person you will appreciate that places like this still exist.

Didn't fix the leak. Only half completed. Wouldn't tell me how much the repair cost until after it was done. Tacked on an extra 3% because I paid with a credit card and didn't tell until he ran the card. Expected more professionals from a place that's been open 30. Years read more

This is the best auto shop I have ever been to!! Phil looked at my car and diagnosed my problem in less than a min. He was honest and didn't take my money like the Honda dealer does. Ken and Phil thank you so much! I HIGHLY recommend this place. "If it's not broke don't fix it" says Phil. If you DONT want to get ripped and taken advantage go to Ken's automotive! They are the very BEST! Thank you sooooo much Melissa with the white bonda read more

I brought my car to Ken and his Lead Mechanic Phil based on a friend's recommendation. I got my car in and Phil went to work. I had a list of things that needed attention and while those issues were addressed Phil worked his ass off to fix a couple of other problems. Ken and Phil kept me informed on the progress and when the car was delivered I was totally satisfied as Ken had gone above and beyond expectations. Highly recommended for trust, honesty and price. I'd give 10 stars if there was the option, great job guys. read more

Fantastic shop. I bought a used car and needed to check for any repairs needed. Ken and his team are knowledgeable, friendly, and honest. Price was more than fair for the work I needed done and they were able to do it the same day. Highly recommend. And I am a female who went by myself and was in great hands. read more

As always Kenny and his team exceed expectations. Listen, he's busy, it may take some time. BUT I feel I always get an honest answer. That's worth the wait for me. I know he's not crazy about working on a pieced together Wagoneer from 84 but he did it and I'm so happy to have her back up and running. Thanks again read more

If you're looking for a trustworthy, expert mechanic with reasonable charges and efficient service, Ken's Automotive is the place for you. They will never recommend unnecessary repairs. I found out the hard way after years of paying for outrageously priced and sometimes unnecessary repairs from a dealership. read more

I've been to hundreds of mechanics and Ken is by far the most honest and knowledgeable of them all. Ken and Phil spent a very long time explaining all of the issues involved with my Lexus. I was planning to return to the dealer, however, I figured that would be three times the cost and I would never get the detailed explanation plus before and after photos of the inside of my engine whilst they worked on it. This shop is a hidden gem and not easy to find because he turns away business; how rare is that? read more

I cannot say enough kind things about this place! I was up from the Keys having a mini-vacation with my daughter when my car, one of the Hondas with a faulty V6 engine, had a spark plug burn out. I've been dealing with this issue for 18 months because I missed the extended warranty by two weeks and Honda told me "too bad." Anyway, I called Ken's and he fit me in the very next morning. Changed the spark plug on the cylinder I needed and I was back on the road - for an incredibly affordable price! He charged me for the plug and minimally for the work. This place is great and, if I lived closer, I would come here for everything! I am so glad I found this place! read more

Ken and his crew go out of their way to save you money, whilst purchasing genuine U.S. parts. I can not speak highly enough about his/their integrity and professionalism. He is rightly proud of his crew, who share his professional ethics and moral fortitude. I was referred by a friend and cannot imagine taking my Wife's or my car anywhere else. read more

This has not been the first time I used ken when my car needs work, prices are fair work is good. I'm finally found a good honest mechanic. Strongly recommend read more

I've been shopping for a reliable, fairly priced, and honest mechanic for the last 7 years. Knowing nothing about cars, I've struggled with trusting a mechanic to A) not rip me off, and B) do a good job so I don't have to return every other month. The first time I visited Ken, he batted for me against a AAA battery repairmen who didn't want to admit that the cause of my car issues was the AAA battery that I bought only 3 months prior. After nearly an hour of back-and-forth, Ken finally convinced the AAA rep that it was the crappy battery and nothing else. If it wasn't for Ken, I probably would've paid a lot of money to fix something that wasn't broken. Ken didn't charge me for his time, and I got a new battery from AAA (side note: from my and Ken's mechanic experience, don't buy batteries from AAA) Recently, I returned to get something fixed. One of Ken's mechanics, Eddie, was there and gave me lots of cost-saving tips for a future repair (leaking oil), and gave me a fair price on a new alternator. I highly recommend Ken's Automotive for anyone looking to find a trustworthy mechanic. read more

Seriously, I don't know what I would do without Ken and his Crew...I've been going to him for over 14 years! I am a woman so right there I would be an easy victim to ANY car repair place AND in South Florida? I'd be really taken advantage of but they never do... he cuts costs, is honest with everything (and sometimes to a fault that I feel like I'm the one taking advantage of HIM... I know, weird, right??) Ken and his crew are in a little back area off the beaten path that you KNOW the only way that people know about him is by word of mouth and he is busy ALL the time (which makes me not want to share my BEST EVER mechanic b/c what if he gets TOO busy?? but I want him to succeed). I swear that there are only a handful of people that I would say, "WTF am I gonna do if they stop working??" and trust me, I am in business community and I know lots of businesses... he is one of the 4 people after 15 years of business networking here that I would EVER recommend!! xoxo read more

Great job! Very knowledgeable, experienced shop. Good communication and timely repair. Thanks!

Ken is the most knowledgeable, trustworthy, honest and professsional mechanic I have ever come across. I have been taking all of my vehicles to Ken for over 10years and I would never trust anyone else with my vehicles. Phil is the other mechanic that works along side Ken in the shop and I can say confidently that the quality of service at Ken's Automotive is unparalleled! read more

I was really impressed with Ken and his sidekick, Phil, who helped me out of a really sticky spot. Courteous, efficient, looks after cost efficiency as well. I told Ken he had really great reviews and he said: "I didn't know that. I don't read reviews. I just do a good job and back up my work." That says it all. Thanks guys. Ken is a real gem. I'm visiting from North Carolina and when I was ready to Leanne my car started making a funny noise. I saw the glowing reviews on yelp and took it to Kens.he checked everything out, put it up on the Lift, test drove it, and wouldn't take a dime! A true honest mechanic! read more

Ken's Automotive is amazing! I am a "snowbird" so I don't really know too many reliable places here for service. So my check engine light came on, I found this place by having it referred to me by an auto body shop guy. Ken was a wonderful guy, he checked things out on my car, found the problem, and took care of it. He let me drive the car for a few days before I paid him to make sure things were good. Wonderful, fast, reliable service. Really an upstanding guy!! read more

Thanks God I finally found a reliable and trustworthy mechanic to fix my VW Jetta TDI. My mechanic kept fixing the fix until I came across Ken who is now my Master Mechanic. Thanks Again read more

I first went to Ken's Auto when I was 19. That was a mere 30 years ago!!! I have known many mechanics and they all know I don't use anyone else. Honest and reliable. He and the crew work hard. Sometimes folks need it right away and he does his best. Any mechanic that isn't busy is a shitty one. One stop shop!!! I ordered tires and he was able to put them on. blown engines to oil changes to finding a loose wire in 20 minutes... no charge for loyal customers. I recommended him to a family down on vacation that was having issues with their suburban they drove from Utah. He took care of them and they thought they were UNDER CHARGED!!! LOL If you want a reliable honest mechanic in South Florida, I know only one... Ken's Auto!!! read more
