I stopped in to take a look and the sales associate Dina was very helpful. I'll have to stop in again to take some more time to browse.

We visited 5 plumbing supply showrooms to purchase fixtures for our bathroom remodel. Jennifer…read morestood head and shoulders above the rest. * She listened carefully to our vision and goals. She sat back for a full 10 minutes and gave it serious thought before she made recommendations that were spot on in terms of style, function, and budget * Jennifer was highly collaborative, courteous, and humorous, stayed calm at all times, and was very reassuring. She's honest but diplomatic if you've made a selection she thinks you won't be happy with. * Jennifer was knowledgeable about her own inventory as well as products they don't even carry so she could compare them for you * When asked, she was quite honest about the quality of each fixture (frequency of problems and number of returns), and the integrity of the manufacturer (do they stand behind their products). This is information you can't get doing an internet search * Jennifer's estimates of delivery dates were 100% accurate. Some items even came in early. * Jennifer clearly identified which fixtures were returnable without a restocking fee (standard in-stock items) and which were not returnable (custom orders) * Excel Plumbing is open on Saturdays. Many plumbing supply houses are not * The average discount over the entire order was substantial for the fixtures we bought, and was better than that offered by any other showroom In addition to all of that, Jennifer understands the emotional toll from renovations and reduces concerns where she can: * Your home is in chaos and daily routines are disrupted (she can't help you there) * The wide selection of brands can be daunting (she helps you cut through the clutter of information, and whittle down the options) * You are concerned about making costly mistakes (she helps you make choices with confidence and can also point you towards products that can be returned without penalty) * You might feel urgency to get the renovation done before holiday guests arrive (she can tell you which items are in stock and if not in stock, which manufacturers' estimated delivery dates are reliable) * Your contractor may be pressing you towards products you don't want or like (she can help you identify alternative products you do like) Jennifer has our highest recommendation.

Posted this on Google reviews and it got hidden to the public. I think it's important folks know…read moreabout this experience so see below: ______________________ I had such a bad experience with Mission Home which I know will look bonkers given the 5 star reviews. I was definitely persuaded by these reviews - and now will question every business that has 5 star reviews. Do your homework and don't be fooled. Project took much longer than what it should have because they were disorganized and would forget certain things (the foreman would even admit that the PM should have told me certain things!) that I would have imagined a contractor had down pat in terms of sequencing. They use some subcontractors and you are at the mercy of their schedules. They just are not organized (you will do a lot of the reminding, checking in, following up, and certain things still may not happen). They failed inspections meaning more cost (it is their job to pass these! It says this in any contract!) If it seemed as though I was questioning something, the PM got defensive and sometimes unprofessional, gaslighting me in a very aggressive manner. I saved the communication, in fact. The people I worked with directly were young and it showed in the almost-too-casual style of communication and lack of professionalism. I surrendered towards the end and just wanted the project done and everyone gone. I feel completely foolish that I went with the significantly higher estimate thinking it would offer a smooth, superior experience. The actual people who did the work worked hard though and did nice work - hence the two stars. But at the end of the day, it's actually hard to enjoy the work as I am reminded by the months of bad experiences - up to the very end. You can find more experienced contractors out there for equal quality of workmanship and for a more competitive price. I am using a different contractor now for other work at the property - it's a 180 degree difference - they have a dedicated team for my project, meaning time to completion is more accurate and on time; they have a dedicated person to procure the finishes and fixtures, not myself; they are way more organized and even provided me a timeline of what to expect and communicate with me what time they are showing up and what progress was made that day (!!); they are bringing a truly expert eye with attention to detail that ELEVATES the space and are teaching me to ask things I didn't even know I should KNOW to ask; and most importantly, I feel truly comfortable asking questions without defensiveness and aggressive steamrolling in their answers. I received none of this level of care or expertise with MHR, and I want you to know that you should expect these things!!!

This makes no sense because we just want to get a ballpark to see if it's even make sense to continue. But anyway, on the date of the site visit, the guy come without any tool for measurements and for note taking. The guy just spent like 20 mins walking around the house and said he will get back to us with a quote. But I never hear back from them since. I think the company is very picky on clients and like to see if they have enough money to pay for their service. If they think we cannot afford it, they will just cut all the communications. Working with Keoki at the…read moreFerguson showroom made it easier, as did sourcing almost everything from Ferguson and its cousin, Build.com. The showroom is well laid out, two floors, attractive, not confusing, with a range of prices from, say, Delta, Moen and Kohler to higher end brands. (I think lower costs on the bottom floor, higher-end upstairs.) Free parking lot to the side of the building, which you need in the Mission. It's important to see and touch as many of these products as you can. We worked with Keoki Garner. He was well informed, timely, easily available, and collaborative. He stayed cheerful when I overrode him and then changed things last minute (due to my own mistakes.) I loved that I could do research on Build.com and then bring it to Keoki. He never upsold or resisted when I went, say, for Kohler over Grohe. Everything so far has been delivered impeccably and undamaged. Build.com offers an enormous range of products, and I like that too. You can return within a reasonable amount of time. We haven't started construction yet but almost everything is sourced and in the garage. We have a clear billing record so much came from Build.com. I ended up gravitating to some more expensive fixtures, but not because of pressure, because of my own preference. I'd definitely do business with Keoki and with Ferguson again.

I went back to the Ferguson Connecticut site and they carefully listened to me and helped me get a new filter which was sent to my home and installed by me. I really appreciated the help of the Ferguson customer service person who helped me find the appropriate solution. I am so pleased with my water pressure and lovely faucet now.

We walked into their showroom in South San Francisco not knowing what to expect, and were greeted by a friendly gentleman named Bailey. Little did we know, that moment would mark the start of both a great project and a lasting connection. Bailey is professional, knowledgeable, sincere, and incredibly patient--everything you'd hope for in a salesperson. I originally was just looking for flooring at KZ but Bailey made us feel so comfortable we ended up getting pretty much everything here. One stop shop to save time and energy . He offered thoughtful advice every step of the way and was always there when we needed help. Even on his day off, he went out of his way to make sure everything was prepared for us. That level of dedication is truly top-notch. Their pricing is competitive, but for me, outstanding service makes all the difference--and Bailey delivered exactly that. If you're planning any remodeling, I highly recommend giving KZ Cabinet and Stone a try. Be sure to ask for Bailey--you won't regret it. The only negative feedback I have is the warehouse pick up staff may not be the most friendly but the job gets done.

While some items may take time depending on availability, our experience was positive, and we would definitely consider KZ Kitchen again for future renovation needs.
