I requested that they notify the homeowners via (email blast) of when someone is coming out. I would take my cushions in. First time no email. Second time email at 10:30, tree sprayed at 11. Last one was today. Received email after someone sent them an email. Seriously folks not rocket science we are dealing with here. Agree it's other reviewers. They manage to take the cheap way out and are rude and condescending. Not helpful at all. Oh and they fixed the puddling then freezing of water last year by running a pipe under my driveway. Ended up with a two foot hole, luckily no one fell it in. Now driveway is cracking in that area.

We have never not received our full deposit. After moving out we returned to put out the trash bins and they still said we left trash. While trying to buy a house we asked to rent on a short term. GC wanted another deposit and 2x the rent. As time went by and got closer to the end of our lease they then were willing to work with us. We NEVER were late on rent and kept the place spotless. We were model residents.

Then he said he needed to find something else wrong with the property to report otherwise he woudl get in trouble. So he took a picture of some chipped paint (that was there since we moved in) and turned that in. Mind you, we reported SEVERAL issues with the property during our move-in inspection report, but none of them have ever been addressed. They're making their techs find issues so they can charge the landlords more money for sending out people to the property unnecessarily. Anytime We've tried to get help with something they've made it as complicated as can be. The communication is chaotic and unorganized and poor. It's clear this company cares much more about making money than they do helping their tenants.

She is strict but I feel that it is actually a very refreshing and great thing to have because we knew and felt that the property was kept up well and that we would be heard and taken of very well too. The tenants are her NUMBER ONE PRIORITY! Living here has been great. We have never really had any problems with our unit and any problems we bring to Linda are usually fixed within a 24-hour period. Communication with her is fantastic, and she is always available to listen to our concerns! She is also ALWAYS so warm and fantastic with my 2 kids even when they pester me to visit her office every time we walk past it! She is always willing to put aside time for YOU. If not for the fact that our family is simply getting just too big for the units they offer here, we would probably have continued to stay on. We will truly miss the amazing tenant care and service we have received at Parkside over the last 2 years. We are really going to miss living here. Charging $65 per hour for document retrieval with a mandatory minimum of three hours is nothing short of a scam. It's a blatant attempt to discourage homeowners from holding them accountable. On top of that, they tack on unnecessary printing and postage fees when electronic delivery would be a simple and free solution. The way this company operates is shady at best and potentially illegal at worst. They hide behind excessive fees to keep homeowners in the dark, and their lack of transparency is a huge red flag. If you're dealing with Retro Community Management, be prepared for frustration, stonewalling, and outrageous costs for even the most basic requests. Do yourself a favor--if your HOA is managed by this company, push for a change. Retro Community Management does not work for homeowners; they work against them.
