It has been nothing but headaches since Dorothy left. The response time is awful. I moved in they knew the stove didn't work, no air, the maintenance guy rude, discourteous as well as disrespectful. They don't honor your request. I have asked them to wear shoe covers in my unit and mask due to my health conditions. They say they do, however, they don't because I see them on my video cam. I have 2 words for this place. Caryn Outlaw. She was absolutely magnificent. I was in the market for an apartment because I was separating from my spouse. My credit wasn't all that great and I was worried about being able to find somewhere that would accept me. They were cool at first and I was going to give them a 5 star but the tides turned quickly after about a month later of working with them, I was awarded a Housing Choice Voucher and I asked If they knew of any apartment complexes who were accepting them. The nice pleasant gentleman unexpectedly got nasty.., rude.., harsh, his voice and attitude changed quickly lol. He acted as if I asked him if he wanted the Bubonic Plague!!! And he suggested that I look somewhere else.., he began naming towns far east away from here, that I've never heard of lol. He brushed me off the phone and hung up quickly and abruptly...smh. What can I say, I LOVE this company! I recently found out that I would have to move from a place I had been renting for about 3 years due to the fact that they were raising prices to a level that I didn't feel was proper for what I was actually getting, so I decided to move. The thing is....I don't like to move! I have a tough time adjusting to new places, for some reason it always feels like a catastrophe! Basically I was stressing out and no matter how many "apartment listing websites" I found, not one of them listed the information that I REALLY needed. I needed specifics as to whether the apartment I was looking at online, was on a PACE bus route. I was completely fed up and wanted to give up once I found myself trying to compare 3 different maps just to get a small amount of information. SO I decided to google something else, "apartment finder service" I was then led to the Apartment Solutions website and actually felt hope for the first time in weeks of searching. I was set up with John Scarpa and I feel like the rest is history! LOL I went in to the office and I swear John was multitasking like a pro! He was quite busy, but never once in our meeting did I feel rushed or anything. John listened to my feelings and was more than happy to get me the information that I needed. Not only did John look up places for me and contact the properties, he then cross referenced their locations with the PACE maps and wrote down which line they were on! All in all i think I walked out of there with 8 different options, some of which he was even able to get the properties to include upgrades and such if they were lacking in some region! My girlfriend and I used this company to find and apartment. They found us the perfect place so we put in an app as soon as we viewed it and were told we were were first in line for the place. The next day when were had an apointment to drop off out security deposit we were informed that they had given the apartment to someone else. I had an appointment with Apartment Solutions yesterday. I arrived right before another couple arrived yet they were helped before me. Once it was finally my turn (I had to wait for Caryn to finish with another client) I was treated like dirt. She complained that she had been busy all day and after having waited 20 minutes past my appointment time, she was "finished with me" in 10 minutes. Whereas the couple that had arrived literally right behind me were still sitting with John and actually viewing apartments on his computer. I was never even shown any apartments, but handed several printouts and told good luck. I had such high hopes for this search having been doing this for several weeks now - but apparently I was better off on my own. I would NOT recommend this person at all - but the concept sounds great - a "one stop shopping" kind of place. How sad that someone whose JOB IT IS to be kind and helpful chose not to be! read more
