Maybe I am lucky but besides normal apartment living - I feel so blessed. My building is clean, does not smell, they clean once a week and do regular checkups in apartments for bugs, and smoke detectors. I am 65 years old and have my share of living in apartments for the last 40 years, here in DuPage and cook county. I will absolutely back this complex 100%. This is the best place I have ever lived in an apartment complex. CLEAN, BUG FREE AND RODENT FREE, and MOST IMPORTANTLY I FEEL SAFE AND SECURE HERE! Every time I have had a maintenance issue they have responded quickly and in a timely manner.... The ladies in the office and maintenance are very pleasant and professional. Don't believe everything you read or hear and come check it out yourself!!!

We had no issues with the management of the complex until Monday, May 24th. We received a collections letter for Brittany Springs for the move out fee. On March 3, 2021 a money order was personally handed to the accountant at the complex. And as indicated on Monday May 24th we get this letter. We did resolve the issue with Brittany Springs, it was determined to be the fault of the complexes accountant. Now the issue is having the black mark removed from the credit report. I believe it should the responsibility of who started this mess to clean up their mess. Make sure to make and keep copies of any and all transactions when dealing with any and everyone.

There is no way we could put a king size bed in the master bedroom and still have room. Damaged floor in one of the closets and the person that showed me the place said...we are not fixing this. And the front door to the apartment.....completely scraped up a quarter of the way from the bottom. There is a reason these apartments are so cheap! The units are old, stink and are depressing. What really brings the complex over the top for me is the amazing staff. Anybody who has ever lived in an apartment complex knows that the leasing staff truly determines how your experience goes, for the better or worse. Alisha, Brianna , and Paige are all very welcoming, attentive , and hard working to make sure your stay goes as planned . I've never seen a staff so quick to handle any and every question I had during the move process as well as during my time here. They make the job look easy when I know it's far from that. During my thirteen years living there, I found that the strong points of Ascot Glen were the maintenance, the location, and the fact that none of the apartment complexes nearby measured up (e.g., the ones in Westmont -- ugh). Yeah, there was some petty crime, and some of the wrong types of people occasionally showing up, but I never felt unsafe living there. The buildings are going on thirty years old, and as a previous reviewer indicated, the condition of your appliances might be subpar. Mine sure were, and the dryer in the building NEVER worked properly despite having been replaced twice... blocked ducts? All in all, I managed to make a good home at Ascot Glen for thirteen years before a job change forced me to relocate out of state. If you're looking for an apartment in the Willowbrook-Westmont area, Ascot Glen is about as good as it gets. However, if I had to do it again, I wouldn't have been so complacent as to spend as long living in the place as I did. FWIW... I hope this helps!
