    Can anyone comment on the metra train distance (is it walkable) and the noise from it (can you hear it inside your apartment)? Thanks!

    Depending on the building your in. I live in the farthest building and its literally a 8 minute walk. From my build you cannot here the train. Love this place.

I really appreciate the little community events they host at the office; the paw pool party was such a fun touch, and our dogs were even featured in the resident newsletter! A year later, I revisited the issue and a secondary maintenance crew came out. Promising of fixes and never receiving any. Keep in mind there's multiple toilets so it wasn't a major pressing issue, I trusted the lakeview team would notate and follow through on their promises, to my demise I wrongfully trusted them. At this point in time, the toilet pump broke, causing a flood in my upstairs. The guy came the next day and say they would have contractors come fix the ceiling. The water came through the roof, dampening the carpet, and ruining my couch. The couch was soaked with toilet water and therefore no longer useable. Lakeview townhomes is not taking responsibility for the lack of maintenance follow through, and a clear neglect of the issue led to damages to not only my home but my Persia k property. A mildew smell now resonates and I'm told that they have no history of the issue. At what I thought was a great community at first, had quickly turned into an absolutely money hungry nightmare. They are refusing to reimburse for my personal expenses needed due to maintenance incompetency. Very very disappointed- I will be leaving once my lease is up

    Avoid 500 Station at All Costs -- Don't Be Fooled by the "Luxury" Label…read more Are you looking for a Section 8 property? Are you interested in living in a D-Class (not luxury) community? If not, STAY AWAY from 500 Station. We relocated from out of state for work and, after extensive research, felt confident this was the best place for us--largely thanks to Nichole, who was warm, professional, and gave us high hopes. (Nichole, you're truly missed.) From the outside, this community looked amazing--shuttle services, community events, security, on-site dining, great reviews. But after moving in, it was clear things had changed--and not for the better. The moment Nichole left, everything began to decline: * Shuttle service? Gone. * Security? Removed. Management advised us to "just call Aurora PD" instead. * On-site restaurant? Closed for months due to "no staffing." * Garage doors? Constantly broken. Residents, including ourselves, were stuck inside for hours with zero communication. Worse, the property is unsanitary: * Pet urine and feces in common areas, including the elevators, hallways, and pool. * Blood left in the elevator for weeks. * Community front doors rarely work, leaving guests and deliveries locked out for days before management even acknowledged the issue. Communication is non-existent. Shannon (property staff) is shockingly rude and dismissive. MK is almost never around and unresponsive. Jay is the only person in that office who shows any professionalism. Former staff like Tim? Glad he's gone. But things get even more serious: * We received threatening letters about entering homes without consent. * Maintenance entered homes at 10 PM-- no emergency, no notice. * I personally experienced a severe water leak, resulting in mold and unsafe conditions. Management and corporate were notified, and the response from the company president, Joe Marone, was: "Feel free to contact an attorney and have them reach out to me directly." This is not luxury living--this is neglect, disrespect, and endangerment. If you're considering moving here or investing in Pioneer Acquisitions, please reconsider. The mismanagement goes all the way to the top. To those in Building 675: prepare for health issues. Mold is real, and repairs are superficial at best. There's so much more I could share, but I'll stop here. Just check out the real photos of 500 Station, and you'll see the truth for yourself.

This is not written to invite Pioneer Management's usual gaslighting, combative, or deflective replies. I've already experienced the "we stand by our team's decisions -- if you don't like it, get a lawyer" response when escalating legitimate concerns. Instead, this is for prospective tenants who want to know what they're actually signing up for. Key reasons to reconsider signing a lease here: 1. Consistent Communication Failures When tenants move in or out, there's no notice that an elevator is reserved. You'll simply discover it occupied -- often with someone's couch inside -- when you try to use it. 2. Elevators & Garage: Constantly Out of Service It's common for one or both elevators to be broken multiple times a month. If an outage lasts more than a week, management might send an email -- long after residents have already figured it out. The garage doors are equally unreliable. 3. Misleading "Luxury" Marketing Advertised as luxury apartments, but reality falls far short. I paid $3,000/month (with two parking spaces), while others with Section 8 vouchers paid $800-$900 for identical units. The issue isn't who pays what -- it's that the overall environment no longer reflects the "luxury" being sold, and has instead brought public drug use, loud profanity, litter, and general neglect. 4. Invasive & Unprofessional Maintenance Maintenance has entered apartments without notice or prior consent. If you happen to be home, you're made to feel like you're inconveniencing them. 5. Lack of Cleanliness Hallway trash can sit for days. There's been a visible blood stain in the elevator of building 675 for over a year. Pet stains (and even the occasional rabbit on a leash) are commonplace in the halls. 6. Parking Isn't Worth Paying For The garage's security features are unreliable. On occasion, pool chemicals have dripped onto vehicles -- and management will insist you "must be mistaken" about what you clearly see. Bottom line: The "luxury" label is misleading, and the management culture is dismissive at best, hostile at worst. For $3,000/month, you can find a property that respects its residents, maintains its amenities, and delivers what it advertises.
