I've worked with Streeterville Realty for the past 5 years and there is a reason why I keep going back. In the beginning, I worked with Humera in the past and loved the experience. She's professional, gives great advice/suggestions, and is always in contact with you. Most recently I worked with Anthony and my experience was just as great. Anthony is communicative and responsive- all things that you want when you are looking to rent your apartment out! He was always there to answer questions via email and phone and gave great input/advice/suggestions when asked. Renting units can be a hassle at times, but working with Anthony and Streeterville Realty makes it as painless as possible. I can't see anyone looking to a different group to help with their real estate needs. read more

Recently had the terrible misfortune of working with Streeterville Realty- Haroon, on a transaction where they represented the sellers. The experience was terrible from start to finish. Haroon was consistently unprofessional, unresponsive and in several instances lacked integrity. He seemed to not have basic understandings of how real estate transactions and contracts worked. I would not recommend this firm nor Haroon in any transactions. I would avoid any properties he and/ or his firm is associated with. read more

Recently purchased a home through this firm. Haroon is the owner and agent. Most difficult person to ever work with. Highly unethical and unprofessional in every way. I'd not recommend him or his firm and would avoid entering into any sales with this company. read more

Ximena and Cecelia were great in answering a few questions I had. Cecilia is very pleasant to talk to and I feel my needs were heard. She also was able to help me in a spur of the moment and responded back quickly. I enjoy and take pride in working with companies that take ownership in following up and their work. I know a good company when I experience one. Thanks again Cecilia and Ximena!! read more

These guys are AWESOME!!! I worked in Anthony, and he got me a great deal on a BEAUTIFUL 2bd with river views. He really does go above and beyond for you, and I can not sing his praises enough! If you're fortunate enough to live in one of their managed properties, be sure to work with Anthony! read more

If you are looking for a place to rent in the city, I highly recommend you give Anthony Garcia a call at Streeterville Realty. I worked with him over a 3 or 4 week period to find a new condo to rent and the experience was great. Anthony was very friendly and professional throughout the process. He was always accessible/responsive at any time on his cell phone and truly cared about my rental search. From the beginning, Anthony listened to what I was looking for and presented great options for my consideration. He was always able to schedule viewing appointments quickly and back to back to make things as efficient as possible. Overall, I will be using Anthony again next year when my lease is up and I highly recommend giving him a call if you are searching for a place too. read more

I don't know why the overall review is so low. But I am glad I didn't find this review before working with them or I would have turned away. Me and my husband moved to Chicago due to his job relocation. We knew nothing about Chicago and neither of us had ever been to Chicago before. My agent is Anthony Garcia. We met with him the first day we arrived. He was able to pull up a showing list on a very short notice. We told him the needs we have, the condos he chose for us are all pretty good. We decided on one condo from the first time showing. Now we moved in and everything is great. read more

I was moving into my first Downtown Chicago condo recently and was lucky enough to make contact with Streeterville Realty and Anthony Garcia. Over about a month, he met with us several times to view potential units until we found the one we loved. He was well informed about every single building and unit that we viewed, and for any details he didn't know right away, he was quick to find out and relay the information to me immediately. Anthony was very professional but also approachable throughout the entire process, and he was also very patient in dealing with my wants/needs in a unit as well. I would wholeheartedly recommend working with Streeterville Realty to anyone looking for housing in the Chicagoland area. read more

I recently moved to Chicago from New Orleans for work and was in need of an apartment close to the Loop. I somehow stumbled upon Streeterville Realty and can't be thankful enough that I did. My realtor, Anthony Garcia, did everything he could to make my move as stress free as possible. He was always accessible during the rental process and answered all my questions in extremely timely manner. I would definitely recommend Anthony and Streeterville Realty to anyone in the market. read more

They have HORRIBLE response times and their work is sub par based on the people that have used them in the building they operate (405 north Wabash). Most of the tenants in the building say DO NOT use them because they are way OVERPRICED and the work doesn't match up. read more

I've worked with Streeterville Realty twice now to find a new home and they always did an excellent job. I worked with Anthony who was always professional, courteous, knowledgeable, prompt, and quick to respond. I highly recommend working with him. I highly recommend working with them as well. read more

The entire Streeterville team was wonderful to work with. My unit was under contract within a couple of weeks. Haroon's knowledge of the building was exceptional. He was therefore able to explain why my unit was unique and worth much more than the initial offers I received. Humera was a great asset in staging the apartment for photography and coordinating the preparatory work. Anthony was always there to coordinate and get answers to the many questions we had during the entire process from listing to closing. read more

Stay FAR away! read the other reviews in the link below). Exactly what I experienced. UNPROFESSIONAL, LIARS, DISORGANIZED, POOR COMMUNICATION SKILLS AND BEYOND FRUSTRATING to deal with. They will try to take advantage of you once you sign the lease and want nothing to do with you if you're having issues with the owner. Once you sign..you're on your own... They don't disclose information to you from the get go and then turn around and try to charge you for things you were not aware of. They DON'T abide by what the lease states, only if it benefits them. It's a LEGAL binding contract you morons!!! . Get everything in writing if you must use this company and take photos of every square inch of the unit BEFORE you move in as they will try to blame you if something is already broken prior to moving in or breaks while your living in the unit due to no fault of your own. (The appliances are old as the building and they just don't get that, nor do they care) This is just another way for them to justify taking money from you. I've spoken with other people who have used them as well and experienced similar problems. They're not even accredited by the BBB. Prob. because of their shady practices but thank goodness for good old YELP :) Oh yeah and the owner Haroon thinks he's a real smooth talker....it's quite comical as he is so transparent..SO Arrogant. DON'T BELIEVE A WORD THAT COMES OUT OF HIS MOUTH--- EVER! Anything that he says he'll do, GET IT IN WRITING because he will not follow through and stick to his word. Everytime I've had to speak with him, I was constantly rolling my eyes internally. If you need to rent a place, either deal DiRECTLY with the owner or through https://nrsrentals.com. the other negative yelp reviews are in a link below..not sure why they don't come up on the Yelp site when doing a search ( even though I have a pretty good idea) but I found them! http://www.yelp.com/biz/streeterville-realty-chicago read more

My experience moving in to a new place managed by Streeterville was absolutely terrible. They promised me a parking spot for a certain price, then when I got here, increased it, and here I was stuck with a car. They also told me that me trying to get what I deserved was "too much" and I "wasn't worth it." They didn't replace light bulbs that were broken when I moved in. They never placed the order for the new blinds that were promised in my lease. They don't own up to their mistakes, which is the worst part. Find a better company to rent from, for your own sake. read more

I cannot thank Anthony Garcia at Streeterville Realty enough. While living in Chicago the past 8 years, I have met quite a few realtors and my experience with Anthony Garcia is BY FAR the best one I have ever had. He really went over and beyond to help me finalize the lease. I was on a time crunch because I was traveling out of the country before everything was to be complete. He was in contact with the new management and got everything done when I couldn't. He was always available if I needed to call him for a question or had a concern (even on the weekends and off hours). If you need a realtor in the Chicago area contact Anthony! read more

I had an awesome experience working with Anthony. I met up with him late December last year to convey what kind of leases I was looking. In the next couple of days Anthony not only worked through the holidays with me but also managed to show me many units that exceeded my expectations. Streeterville Realty, specially Anthony Garcia was excellent! They helped me find a place in a short period of time. He was patient with my changing requirements and showed me over a dozen places. I hired Haroon Khan to rent out my unit. He was not honest and mostly looked out for his own interests. He only showed the unit to tenants who would not stay more than one year, so that he could earn another commission in twelve months. He also lied to me about their incomes so I would lower the rental price, which made his job easier and barely affected his commission. Not recommended. read more

"I want to thank you so very much for all of your help when it came to buying my home. You went to so much trouble answering all of my questions, most of them repeatedly, and making sure I really understood the process. Also, I know that my situation with the leaseback was as frustrating to you as it was to me, but you were calm and helpful long after we both thought your job was finished. I know that you did not make a lot of commission off the purchase of my home, but you never treated me like I was any less important than your other clients looking for homes four times my price range. I just want you to know that I really, truly appreciate all of your help, and almost two years later, it still means so much to me." Mr. and Mrs. V. read more

Anthony Garcia did a great job in helping me with my apartment search right from the beginning. He made sure he understood my budget and requirements and was always available, even on weekends, to address my concerns. Anthony was very knowledgeable about the apartment and helpful in answering our questions. Great and easy experience!!

Anthony Garcia (from Streeterville Realty) is AMAZING! When I started my apartment hunt in Chicago I was beyond overwhelmed; there were way too many options on the market and it was hard gauge what would be a good fit. I went for a 3 day visit to Chicago to view apartments. On the first day, my friends that live there and I arranged a few showings; this was a disaster and very discouraging. The brokers and realtors I encountered on this first day were pushy and/or showing things that were a complete mismatch (I even had a leasing agent at an expensive apartment complex badger me with texts when I said I wasn't interested in the apartment). This first day experience was so discouraging (and I learned the lesson that you need to be careful with brokers/realtors/leasing agents). Then, during the 2nd and 3rd day, Anthony showed me several places. Prior to this, Anthony had called me to get a sense of what I was looking for; I felt like I didn't tell him much (partly because I was pretty inconsistent and unsure of what I wanted) but he was able to read between the lines and work really well with the limited information I provided. "Immense relief" doesn't even begin to describe what I felt after Anthony took me around. Almost every single place he showed me matched what I needed (and several places included things I didn't even realize I wanted). I had a notebook and printout full of questions I organized for each place I visited, but Anthony also made sure to ask several additional questions that I might have missed. Anthony was also good about taking notes and not displaying any strong opinions about any of the places at the beginning of the search; he simply inquired about my thoughts after each showing and took note. It wasn't until the end where we openly discussed the pros/cons of my top choices. One thing I really appreciated was that I did not feel like Anthony pushed a more expensive place on me (which I noticed other brokers do). After talking to Anthony, I narrowed down my choices to 3 apartments and on my own I picked my final choice. I'm really happy with my choice and relieved that I was able to find something in my budget that goes above and beyond my needs! read more

Anthony was a pleasure to work with while finding an apartment. He got to know what I was looking for in an apartment and helped me find a great condo that met all of my needs. My agent was Anthony Garcia. He dealt with me on very short notice and met with me right after new year's to take me to see a number of condos he had helped me pick out. When I presented options from Zillow he happily added them to the list of places to show me despite the fact that these apartment buildings wouldn't pay him should I decide to sign a lease with them instead of with a place he showed me. He was very easy to deal with and extremely helpful with the small window of time I had for my relocation from Detroit. When it came down to signing and turning in the lease, the landlord's agent was slacking and Anthony took it upon himself to do the other agent's job to ensure that the paperwork was received by the office of the building I was moving into. Anthony wasn't aware of this, but I have multiple close friends that are agents in Chicago, and even with taking that into consideration, I wouldn't hesitate to work with him again. Thank you Anthony! read more

First off, I want to say how impressed I am with Streeterville Realty. Throughout the entire process, Anthony Garcia and his team did a wonderful job assisting me with my application as well as leading up to signing my lease. I am very big on professionalism and Streeterville did not disappoint. Whenever I had a concern or needed a question answered, they were able to give me direct answers or were able to get back to me (via email or cell) in a timely manner. So far so good! I'm excited and very happy with the move into my new condo. Special thanks to Anthony for his time, dedication, and kindness. This is my first Yelp review and it is my pleasure to give Streeterville a review on how great their service was. Before you sign the lease, they are very nice to you. After you signed a lease with them, they treat you very badly. I signed a 12-month lease and after I moved out from my apartment, although I cleaned the unit professional, they still find very ridiculous excuse to keep my security deposit. They block my calls and won't reply to my emails. Disengaged and won't give me my money back. Very unprofessional. Anthony Garcia is the agent that I deal with. Very frustrating experience. Please do not rent from the agency, because you will never get your security deposit back! read more
