AWESOME SALON! Where do I start? I scheduled the appointment online and showed up late for my appointment. They were so nice and polite. They took me in right away. No condescending attitude at all. They then ask me if I'm allergic to latex. It was the first time I was asked medical related questions in a nail salon! This told me they take my well being very serious. And then the lady brought out a glass of procesco for me! Say what?! Love it! The tech who did my pedicure is awesome. She was so sweet and soft spoken. Gave the best massage. **WORST experience at a Salon I've ever had!!!*** Tech (Jenny) was absolutely terrible. Her disgusting attitude and cold demeanor was not appreciated. I pre-warned her about my cuticles being rough and asked her if she could be careful. She ignored me and went at it. She glued on every nail at different angles. I pointed it out several times for her, only for her to roll her eyes & say "I FILE." OK, fine. But after numerous failed requests to fix them, I was so frustrated I just wanted to leave. I text my girlfriend that this woman was hurting me so she decided to let her tech know that I was uncomfortable. She politely came over & said something to her about it (in Vietnamese) and Jenny replies (in English), "I don't care!" Never in my life have I ever been so disrespected & mistreated. When you enter a place of business, who's sole purpose is to provide a service to you, at no point in time should you feel bad for giving them your business. Nor should you be ignored, disrespected, or feel physical pain. It was like she was purposely squeezing harder because she was mad I spoke up. Now it's time to pay for these awful hot mess claws. Please tell me why the tech decided to apply "gel" or at least say she did without my consent??? Now I'm stuck with a $60 tab and she's nowhere to be found! Complete joke. My mom and I have been customers here for a decade. They are the sweetest ladies (and men!) and take the time with every customer to give them a great service. Jennifer and Vi are wonderful, and Nicole does the best nail art! The salon is clean and they are constantly redecorating to make it the best it can be. I wish I could give this place more than just 5 stars! All of the technicians are wonderful! I've witnessed more than a few people napping during their pedicures because they're so relaxed! They can do everything from dip powder to gel to acrylic to a combination of a few different styles- they are more than accommodating to what their customer is looking for. I used to go wherever had a groupon to save some cash but now that I've found Danada Nails, I won't be going anywhere else. My no-chip manicure (gel/shellac) lasts the full 2 weeks which is huge because, until this place, I'd be lucky if it lasted more than 6 days. If, for whatever reason, my nail chips or the polish comes off they are more than willing to fix it right away for me! The owner has also made some major changes! They now offer water, coffee and wine (later in the afternoon) to ensure you have the best experience possible. When I was in there this past weekend, they had just received a ton of new dip powder colors and I'm definitely looking forward to trying them! I can't say enough about how great the technicians are- the second that you walk in the owner greets you and, if you've been there before, they recognize you and remember your name! If I could give this place a million stars I would. I came in because I wanted to get my nails done for my sisters funeral. I came in on a Saturday at 5:12 PM. I told them I understand if they turned me away but I wanted a mani pedi because I have my sisters funeral and I would appreciate a mani pedi. I got Michelle a nice quiet girl who has been working here for a little bit. She took me right away and got started. She didn't rush me or talk to me but I wasn't in the mood to talk. When I did talk she would help with conversation. She even did a great massage and hot towel treatment with my pedi. My nails have lasted a total of two weeks now. Michelle didn't rush me, she even stayed until 6:45. I was done. That was 45 minutes after closing. I knew this place was amazing. I will always go here to get my nails done. I truly had a great experience at Danada Nails & Spa and I will be back. I had a pedicure with lemon sea salt scrub and I enjoyed every minute of it. My feet (and I) were totally relaxed and soothed that day. And my toes still look wonderful a few days later. The staff, especially the front desk person, was friendly and helpful. I just moved from the city to Wheaton and so glad I found Danada Nails as my new go-to spot to get my nails done. Obviously cleanliness is very important in a nail salon, and this place really goes above and beyond given COVID. Temperatures are taken at the door, they ask you to sanitize/wash your hands, and of course request that masks are worn the entire time. I've gone here a couple times so far and had a no-chip manicure, a regular manicure, and a regular pedicure done, which have all turned out great. The staff really takes their time with each service and are all so friendly! Love this place! read more

This place is okay. Nothing too special about the location except that they ladies working are really nice. The massage chairs are old and the controller for the chair is worn and old. It gives a nice massage though. There was a review that talked about the nail polishes being half empty or almost completely empty and I can concur with this. What is really cute is the children pedicure chairs for little kiddos maybe about 6 and under. My 7 year old wouldn't be comfortable in it, but she's pretty tall for her age. Pricing is the same, comparable to other nail salons. My tech was great though, I had extra massage time and scrubs and that always feels great. Day 3 of my pedicure and no chips and still looks great. I happened to be in the neighborhood due to a bday party, so if you're like me and happen to be here, your nails would great, but there wasn't anything that was above and beyond for me to only want to come to this salon. read more

Worst manicure I have ever had. I went to Danada Nail & Spa for a French mani/pedi for my wedding. I thought they would be good because they were pretty busy but I was so wrong. When I got home I noticed bubbles in the nail polish and 2 of my nails were not filed straight across like the others. I had to fix the filing myself and I wasn't very surprised when the paint started chipping off 2 days later. The manicure barely lasted long enough for the wedding. I will never go here ever again, there are way too many nail salons that will do a good job to waste your money here. read more

My mom and I got pedicures today. When we were there she was telling me how her no-chip manicure (done by another nail salon) completely chipped off today after the fourth day. Our nail technician heard us and went and found a close matching nail color and fixed it for us. Also, our pedicures were great! My mom made the appointment online earlier in the day. When we came in there was no wait time. My mom was running a little late and there was no issue. Overall great experience. We will be back! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would, but I have to post something in order to write a review. I came in for a no-chip with my mother and sister, and this is not my normal salon but it was more convenient for my mom to get here so I figured I'd take a shot. I had Michelle, I'm not much of a talker so her being quiet didn't bother me at all. There is polish all over my fingers, and she barely did any work on my cuticles. When I say barely I mean she put the cuticle cream on, and lightly when over them with the pushing tool. After that she used the nippers to scrape my nails. Why not just use the tools for their intended purpose?! What's next you say, buffing? What buffing? Also she excessively uses the UV lamp and had me put my hands in there without any polish on. What the purpose of this is I do not know. However I have had a no-chip at quite a few places, and this is not normal. Let's move onto the massage or should I say lack there of. I'd have been better off using the lotion myself. Needless to say I will NEVER be back. I am happy to pay $35+for a no-chip, but I would at least like the bare minimum of services to be met. Save your money people and go somewhere else. read more

Great manicures and pedicures however the service is poor. They'll say 10 minute wait but that means it'll be 10 minutes until you get a chair then they'll keep you waiting there for another 15 minutes. Reservations are the same. Overall just a very unorganized system. If someone makes a reservation at 3, take them AT three. Not 3:30. There's been countless times I've had to leave after just a soak with no manicure or pedicure because I had somewhere to be. But if they get you on time and there's no rush, it'll be a great turn out! read more

This was my first time here and the salon was clean and had a pretty water feature by the reception. The nail tech however was not very good, when the pedicure was complete there was polish outside my nails and the woman didn't even bother to fix it. They are nice here but for the same price I can go somewhere that has newer nail polish. I like to get a pedicure every month or so. The polish is always thick and gunky and seems so old. They are usually busy but I've never really had to wait. I was a walk in on a Saturday for a regular manicure and they did a good job. However, when I got acrylics for my wedding, I made an appointment. We had to wait about 5 or so minutes on a Wednesday afternoon (???). It seemed weird. The place is clean and she did an OK job. I've had acrylics before but not from here. My nails were not at all equal in length and she didn't even clean up my regular nails at all beforehand?? (i.e. cuticles or anything. I feel like my fingers still looked a little crappy when all was said and done. Also, she didn't get the gunk out from under like 4 of my nails, which has been driving me crazy. During the whole process, my nail tech took a personal call ON HER CELL PHONE and continued to work on me! Is it just me or is this a little ridiculous? How many other places would let that happen? Then she told us the credit card machine was broken. Why are you telling me this while you are putting on my acrylics? Anyway, I will probably go across the way to the other nail place I originally went to when I moved here. I also wish there was a board with the pricing. I've gotten my nails done here three times, the first two visits were wonderful, I was very happy with how my full set turned out, I supplied pictures of the designs I wanted, one of which, I'll admit, was pretty complex, but it was executed beautifully with great skill and Trang was very kind and gentle and I was in and out in under an hour. Today, I saw a man, he wasn't wearing a name tag and didn't bother to introduce himself, didn't bother to ask my name. I gave him photos of the designs I wanted, and supplied stick on decals, which he said on the phone would be no problem, that they do it all the time. He started over 5 times, wasted several decals and, matter how many times I explained what I wanted, I left with poorly executed designs, smudged polish, sore fingers and a plan to paint right over the mess once I got home. I was there for almost 2 hours, wasted $70 and was practically shooed out the door by the frustrated nail tech as he loudly complained in his native language in a very nasty tone. If I ever come back, I will only settle for Trang, and I will be bringing pictures of my manicure with the intention of getting a free one. Save your money, and do not see the man who seems to be the manager (he was in charge of the phone and front desk) read more

Nail salons are not all created equally. This place exceeds their competitors by a long shot. First and foremost it's clean. They are also very friendly and do a great job. Expect your mani and pedi to last at least a week and prices are reasonable. Sometimes there's a wait because people know about the place but it's never very long. The music and decor are not current but I'll trade aesthetics for great service. read more

This was our first time here. A friend of mine and I decided to come here for pedis right after our yoga session. We were walkins. I went ahead and signed us both in to the list for pedis and we went right to the nail polish wall to pick out our colors. A minute or two later a lady comes up to us and says "two pedicures?" We say yes. We sat in the chairs waiting for our feet to soak. The same lady then comes up to us and says "you werent an appointment, why do you say your an appointment for 2 pedicures"? Ummmm.... you never asked if we had an appointment PERIOD. Anyways... the people who actually had the appointment ended up waiting becuase of something so easy for her to ask and we felt like jerks (even though we shouldnt have).They did a decent job.
