After living in my condo for a decade and depending thousands on my flawed HVAC system, Boucher finally offered a viable solution, while assisting with oil to gas conversion. The work was done meticulously and I am thrilled with outcome. Technicians were responsible and completed the work in the promised amount of time. Recently needed a service call and system cleaning and they with less than 2 days notice arranged appointment on Christmas Eve! Technician arrived at 8:30 am on the nose. One day I noticed my water tank had a slow leak. I contacted Boucher Energy since the tank had a lifetime warranty. They were very rude over the phone commenting on how I did not have an annual service contract and had not purchased anything from them in years. They scheduled a technician to come out 2 weeks later and look at the leak. The day of the appointment it was snowing. There was only an inch of snow on the ground. Boucher called me to cancel my appointment due to the weather. Who doesn't work when there is only 1 inch of snow on the ground? At that point, the leak had gotten worse and I had to put several towels down daily to absorb the leaking water. I was told by Tina that the service manager would come out the following week to personally inspect the water tank. The day he was scheduled to arrive, he never showed up or called. The following day he calls me and says I can just send him pictures of the leak. What a joke. It's now 3 weeks since I first called them and the leak keeps getting worse. Now they tell me that all they needed are pictures of the leak. I send them the pictures and they order the replacement tank. When the tank comes in, they call me to schedule installation. A few days before they are scheduled to come out and replace the tank, the leak is so bad that I have to put 5 towels down every 3 hours to absorb the water. I email the service manager Monday morning to see if they can come out right away so the tank doesn't burst and flood my finished basement. Below is his email reply. Good Morning, Unfortunately, I do not have any availability until Friday, the date of the installation. After we paid the deposit, they notified us that the project would be delayed for one month due to COVID supply issues. I grudgingly accepted this as a consequence of the "interesting times" we live in, until our furnace completely blew out a few weeks before Christmas. I called the other company to come up with some sort of temporary solution. They unapologetically offered nothing. The owner came out for the sales pitch and did a good job explaining etc. When the techs came, none spoke English and appeared to not know what they were doing - i.e. untrained. It took them 2 days to finish the install. I had an issue within a few weeks with the tank-less water heater and they sent their "best" plumber out. The plumber was not happy either and said that the pipes were not installed well and that it was "a mess." At a maintenance session a few years later, the tech told me I did not need to use filters and then proceeded to close up the filter opening. so I could not access it. Needless to say, within 2 years the system was not working, they sent out a repair tech who told me that the coils were filthy and it would need to be replaced. WHAT! Fortunately, they fixed it for free by cleaning it - not replacing it. I guess if you are paying for the repairs there is a different set of standards than if the company is fixing it. It does work, but am crossing my fingers that it will last through the next 6-7 years before I have to replace it. They appear to hire untrained workers hoping that no one will notice. Run away from them before you have a disaster too.

Mike and his team are extremely unprofessional: a regular seasonal oil furnace tune-up turn into a situation that that the system is not working for both cooling and heating, for a week in May when the temperature went as high as 93, and as low as 44. Both cooling and heating worked just fine before the "tune-up". It is a rental property (and Mike knows it beforehand). I received zero phone call and communication from them after they left the "tune-up", with both cooling and heating off. I only knew about it later when the tenant complained to me, on a 93-degree day without cooling. Called Mike multiple times, who said he's on another job, because "everyone wants cooling" - hey, not that I want you back, you folks are the one who left my cooling off on a 93-degree day. They finally came back to fix the cooling later, but left AGAIN without fixing the heating, and the worst part is they left the panel of the furnace opened, and the high-pressure oil pipe loosed!!! This could easily be a hazard and lawsuit, especially my tenant has young kids (and I now know all these as I eventually have to call in another technician to come and fix everything). Again, no phone call, no communication to me after they left this second time, and again I only know this after the tenant messaged me. This time, Mike refused to answer any phone call, voice mail, text messages for multiple days - took things apart and disappear, GONE, just like that.

Adam arrived at 8, on time, professional, called before he arrived. We had asked because we needed to lock up the dogs. Adam looked at our air conditioner and immediately identified the problem, explained it and took care of everything. He wore foot protection and cleaned up everything. The price was very reasonable and Adam recommended cleaning once a year and changing the filters twice a year. I highly recommend this company.
