Food is varied and delicious. Meats are very tender. Some dishes were a little on the salty side so ask for less salt. Service super friendly and quick. Restaurant modern and really nice. Including the bathrooms! Looking forward to going back.

Dry Pot Shiso Bullfrog

best place in the great seattle area for bullfrog dishes, very authentic. I also have been to their bellevue location but I like the Issaquah one much better. More spacious and staffs are so friendly

Lo mein

Too legit to quit! Friendly service, plenty of seating and fun vibe. The food was delicious, authentic and large portions for the price. I had the garlic fried chicken and the lo mein. Had a few cocktails that were a bit too sweet. Definitely will be returning next time we are in the area!

Went to Dan Gui for dinner with a friend and it was alright, Issaquah definitely needed a Chinese restaurant! We ordered Scallion pancakes and Cumin lamb with Sake. I was surprised to see Scallion omelet instead of pancake, nevertheless, it tasted ok. Cumin Lamb was so good, definitely ask for 4 stars, it wasn't that spicy.

Good price for the portion. My favourite dishes are Achoy and the stinky tofu. Other dishes met expectations

Super interesting cuisine. It's traditional Chinese dishes catered to the American palate, which means more salty and sugary. If you're unfamiliar. Ask the friendly staff.

Interior was nice and open, service was good. Ordered Mao Xue Wang, dry pot intestines and butterflied garlic shrimp. The dry pot came out quickly and had good seasoning albeit not crispy. Mao Xue Wang had a lot of sichuan peppercorns (which I love). Unseasoned tripe on the top went well with the intense broth. Blood was over cooked. Both the dry pot and mxw would be better with sliced ginger (constant at all the other spots I've tried this dish). Garlic shrimp took a long time to come out, got it for our son who just watched us eat our spicy dishes. It turned out to be bland (just intense garlic) and mushy as if the shrimp had been macerated.

This was a great surprise. Stopped in for lunch and wasn't sure what to order. Ended up sharing spicy pork and stir fried cabbage. Both were excellent. A bit pricy, but huge portions. These 2 dishes with rice would have easily fed 3. We've tried several scezhuan restaurants in the Bellevue area recently, and this might be the best.

The fried rice was very bland. Ambience is quite nice, with the designer finishes and all, but the overall layout and walking spaces feel somewhat weird to me. Service is acceptable, but feels a little in your face, or something I don't know, the vibe was a little off. I know I haven't tried their specialty Szechuan cuisine, and I should, but really haven't felt the desire to do so.

House Special Noodles

It was getting late, and too lazy to cook. Just left Costco, and didn't want to go too far. Had been wanting to try this place because I saw that they had intestines on their menu. We got there an hour before closing, it the place was still about half full. Staff was welcoming, and brought over menus when were seated, but they also have a QR code for the menu on the table. We wanted to start off with the chili oil wontons, but they were out. I ordered the Dry Pot Pork Intestines, my bf ordered the Chili Chicken, and then we also ordered the House Special Noodles to share (the table ordered it next to us, and it looked so good, I had to order it, too). The portions were bigger than we'd expected. The Dry Pot Pork Intestines and the Chili Chicken had lots of peppers in them, so they both had a nice little kick. I asked for chili oil on the side for the noodles. Everything was tasty. We enjoyed the food, and had lots of leftovers. The Chili Chicken pieces were much smaller than we expected and are used to, but still good; we just prefer meatier pieces. The staff were so friendly and personable; it made our experience so much better. They definitely made us want to come back.

Very good value. They provide a big portion of each dish. Food is a little salty for me but delicious.

We ordered Garlice Pea Vines with garlic, Tea-smoked Duck, Hot and Sour shredded potatoes, Grilled Pepper with Century Egg, Boiled Spicy Beef, Hunan-style Soy Fried Rice, and Clay pot Bamboo shoot Pork Trotters and Chicken soup. About half the items were a-ok, the other half were fine and I would order it again (Garlic Pea Vines, Boiled Spicy Beef, and Hunan-style Soy Fried Rice). But the dish of the night was the Clay pot Bamboo shoot Pork Trotters and Chicken soup!!! That was sooo flavorful! Service was ok, we did come during the busy dinner rush hour, and they were really busy for a weeknight. Regardless, I want that Clay pot Bamboo shoot Pork Trotters and Chicken soup - it would be so comforting when it's cold!

That changed significantly in the next hour as there was a line out the door. Parking is at a premium and you may have to walk a little bit to get to the restaurant. Ordered the shrimp, fried rice and sweet and sour pork. I always have used fried rice as a good gauge of authenticity. The shrimp fried rice did not disappoint. Huge servings of shrimp and it was cooked without soy sauce being added so you could add it to taste. The sweet-and-sour pork was a generous portion, and I had a side of rice with it. It was flavorful and sweet and the pork was not overcooked. Great job. Also got an order of honey walnut shrimp. Generous sized prawns were used and they were delicious. I would recommend this for someone looking for an authentic Chinese experience

Our toddler developed severe food poisoning symptoms: By 8 PM he had diarrhea, followed by severe vomiting at 10:30 PM. We have been frequent customers, but after this experience, we will never go back. Management needs to investigate their food safety protocols immediately. Here are the items my son ate: Pork & Crab Xiao Long Bao, Pork & Shrimp dumplings and Shrimp & Zucchini dumplings. Another note: I had the Spicy (Ma La) Noodles today and immediately returned it as the soup just tasted like soap water. Not sure what's going on there.

The location has a decent amount of parking/tables. We had a lovely server who remembered the off menu item of fried rice, which we wanted to order anyway. He was very attentive but not overbearing or rushed us in any way. We got the fried rice (toddler enjoyed), beef pancake roll, pan fried Q bao (toddler also enjoyed), pork and shrimp potsticker, zha jiang mian noodles and banana bread dessert. The noodles were pretty disappointing because it was not really black bean saucy enough. The other dishes were solid. There was another server helping out and he was just super pushy and rushed us. When we paid for the check, I wanted to use my rewards but he charged my husband so quickly on the machine it got missed. They close at 9 but it was probably only 7 or so, not packed and people were still getting seated.. not sure why such a rush. It just put a sour taste in my mouth with him.

Their current location is much bigger and can accommodate their growing business and it's still quite convenient with public parking right around the corner. Dining in person and take out have both been fab. I love that they have dim sum all day. They used to do the carts but basically no one does that anymore. Instead, you order off a menu and they bring everything out fresh to you. We always order their pork shu mai, shrimp balls, baked bbq pork buns, potstickers, cilantro dumplings, sesame seed balls, egg tarts, and garlic green beans. But we've tried almost everything on their dim sum menu and it's all really good. We also usually get an order of mapo tofu or eggplant or beef chow fun off the regular menu too to supplement for a larger group. Service is excellent. We love the people who run this place. It was, because Tasty House took over a former Chinese spot but improved on their quality. Ample parking in a good location. While they offer physical menus, they also have QR codes at each table for simple ordering online. We are accustomed to spots including rice with entrees so having to order it separately for an extra $2 per bowl feels bad. Items are large, so tailored for family style. Stir Fried Green Bean - as a green beans fanatic, my partner was a huge fan of the ones here. She liked these over our usual Canto spot which says a lot. The green beans themselves were fresh and cooked perfectly but the sauce was more flavorful than most. Very savory and lightly salty, not really spicy. Sweet and Sour Chicken - missing the onions and pineapple but a very sizable portion of large, tasty battered chicken paired with juicy and crunchy bell peppers. Definitely pair with some rice, there's a lot of sauce and a simple carb helps with balance. Shredded Pork with Sweet Bean Sauce - I was attracted by the steamed buns (gua bao), but the pork was tasty. A bit fatty and drenched in a savory, umami bean sauce, a simple carb like rice will help soak up sauce and balance flavors. There aren't enough buns for the meat, but they are a simple carb that balance out the meat and honestly, a refreshing change in flavor and texture.
