At one point, my eyes were so dry that I had to use eye drops every 15 minutes. It was exhausting and significantly affected my quality of life. Thanks to the treatment and care I received, I have experienced a remarkable improvement. I now use my eye drops only about four times a day, and recently I went almost seven hours without needing them! This improvement means more to me than words can express. Anyone who suffers from severe dry eyes knows how frustrating and exhausting it can be. I am so happy to finally experience this kind of relief. In short, within only about five months of our original purchase, two LINDBERG frames each developed a crack after approximately two months of normal use, and after the second failure, we were not offered a repair, replacement, or refund for the cracked replacement frame. We purchased a LINDBERG frame with premium lenses here about five months ago. After approximately two months of normal use, we noticed a crack developing on the inner/lens side of the frame. We brought the glasses back to the store, and the frame was replaced under warranty. Unfortunately, after approximately another two months of normal use, we noticed a very similar crack developing on the replacement frame, in essentially the same location on the inner/lens side. The glasses had not been involved in an accident or exposed to unusual heat, and we did not use alcohol wipes on them. We returned to the store and explained what had happened. Given that two separate frames had developed similar cracks in essentially the same location within such a short period, we hoped the repeated issue would be investigated and that a reasonable resolution would be offered. However, we were told that the frame would not be replaced again because it had already been replaced once under warranty. The only solution offered to us was to purchase another new frame ourselves, while the store would cover the cost of new lenses. What makes this experience especially frustrating is that no solution was offered for the cracked replacement frame itself - no repair, no replacement, and no refund. The only option presented to us requires us to pay for another frame, even though our original purchase was made only about five months ago. They did not give any reason of the cracking or offer anything else, except asking us to buy a new frame. What we do know is that two separate LINDBERG frames supplied through Century City Optometry developed very similar cracks in essentially the same location after roughly two months of normal use each. For an expensive LINDBERG frame with premium lenses, this is not the product reliability or after-sales experience we expected.

My regular boutique optical shop had already taken more than a month to get my lenses, so I was expecting another slow process. This was the complete opposite. Veronica at the front of house was kind, helpful, and on top of everything. Cathy, the owner, made the whole experience feel personal and easy. Art, the optical lab technician, got the lenses done quickly and professionally. I could not even get my reader prescription from my doctor fast enough, and the staff stayed persistent on the phone until they finally got what they needed. Once they had the prescription, everything moved smoothly. The service was friendly, the prices were reasonable, and the turnaround time was honestly impressive. It is rare to find a place that is this efficient without feeling rushed or impersonal. I will definitely be coming back.

Disappointing experience, contradictory information, and poor post-sale support…read more I decided to try Westwood Eye Care based on their promises to work closely with patients to find the right frames and resolve any issues if things didn't go as expected. I am usually far too busy to write online reviews and almost always let minor issues go; I only spend the time to write a review when a situation is so egregious that I feel I have no other option. Unfortunately, my experience here crossed that line and fell far short of what was promised. During my initial consultation, I was guided through my options and decided to upgrade to premium progressive lenses. I trusted that I was being given complete, accurate guidance. However, when the glasses arrived, I experienced a severe glare that made reading difficult--an issue I had never encountered with my previous glasses. When I brought this up, I was told the problem was that the frames were too wide. Given that I relied on their expert staff to advise me during selection, this was frustrating to learn after the fact. To resolve the glare issue, I agreed to switch to transition lenses and select different frames. While I was promised a turnaround time of 7 to 10 business days, it has now been three weeks. Despite providing my name and date of birth every time I called so staff could look up my file, I received completely conflicting stories: One representative informed me that my lenses had already arrived and were simply waiting to be fitted into the frames. When I followed up later after hearing nothing, another representative told me the lenses had not arrived at all and had no explanation for why I was told otherwise. To make matters worse, I was subsequently informed that I could not exchange my frames because insurance would not cover it, and they offered to sell me a second pair at a discounted rate instead. At no point during my original purchase was it indicated that frame sales were final or non-exchangeable, especially when the issue stemmed from being advised into an ill-fitting frame in the first place. Addressing frame fit or prescription issues should be a basic part of customer service, not an added cost shifted onto the patient. Despite their marketing promises to ensure customer satisfaction after delivery, the gap between what was promised and what was delivered was huge. Between the severe lack of organization, conflicting communication, and refusal to take responsibility for an incorrect frame recommendation, this has been an exhausting process. At this point, I simply want my original frames and lenses back so I do not have to deal with this establishment any further. If you value your time and expect clear, honest communication, I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere. I have changed my review from 1 star to 2 starts since, after my complaint, the business offered to replace my frames free of charge. I will be waiting to get my glasses in 7 to 10 business days...
