He tented our house, but he also inspected everything that could be damaged by the tent and had super helpful recommendations about making the process easy (for example, propping an old planter up to protect other things from the weight of the tent). He kept checking in advance and, when our contractors started putting up certain light fixtures that could be damaged, he proactively informed us so we could postpone that work. It went without a hitch. He personally attends to our mosquito and brown widow problems - which are no longer a problem. We had 2 other pest control companies prior to Jeff and neither of them got it done. I am a mosquito magnet, but I have yet to be bitten at my house this year. A skunk [update: FOUR SKUNKS] recently took up residence in our jasmine right by our front door and started scent marking every night because construction at the vacant house next door drove it to us (yay). While I'm ashamed to admit I didn't think to ask Jeff whether they did that kinda service ("termite" doesn't seem broad enough), after calling all of the local rodent removal service, Jeff was the only one who had a no spray trap (the others swore up and down there was no such thing despite every corner of the internet attesting that there was - some even charged more of it DID spray...right at our front door). He came the same day and caught it within the week and, sure enough, it wasn't able to spray despite it being trapped and relocated. This guy is a gem. After the inspection, Kenny tackled the delicate work of drilling through our tiles with ease and precision. He then applied preventative treatment to protect our home moving forward. Kenny responded when called, and was more then happy to come give a free quote. I was blown away when he came, he stayed for 2.5 hours explaining to me everything about termites and the damage it could cause. I knew I had extensive damage from termite and it would require a lot of work. I also didn't want just pieces of wood replaced and wanted the full piece done if there was damage. Kenny told me exactly when he would have the report ready. I had 3 different companies come out and quote and what stood out to me was Kenny's specific expertise in repairing the wood and doing the work himself. That was a big deal, most companies would outsource their termite job and also have a different crew work on the house. After receiving 3 quotes, Kenny's quote was competitive and actually slightly lower then others. Most importantly, he would be the one to do the work so I could speak to him at all times if something didn't go right. I hired Kenny to do the repair work and ultimately went with a bigger company for the tenting part. Kenny came promptly as promised and started the work. It did eventually take more than the promised 2 weeks to complete the work because of how extensive it was. I didn't mind as I could tell he was taking his time. He would also check in with me frequently and also give me more info about other issues he saw that could cause termites in the future and showed me how to prevent the issue. Ultimately, Kenny repaired almost all the sides all the way around the house, the stucco that was damaged by sprinklers and rot, and he replaced my side wood door that was damaged by termite, and also the interior of one of the bedroom walls that had termite damage. He also referred me to someone who fixed my sprinklers so that it would stop spraying the house and cause termites. He was also extremely careful at all times with my tile roof when he had to remove rotted out wood. Kenny is dependable, fair, genuine, and most importantly, he was trustworthy. If he said he was going to do something, he did it. We also went on vacation for a week and Kenny continued the job on the house. If you want someone who is going to be the person you talk to and also the person who does the work, call Kenny. He also is way more experienced with the woodwork then your typical construction crew. *Kenny responds best when called, he doesn't text as he is often doing work and can't check all the time!
