Ordered take out, kind of late, though the website says open till midnight but the kitchen closes at 930p. So at 915p my bf calls in an order of onion rings, grilled chk, Greek salad wrap with no onions, and a pepperoni pizza. Girl tells him, FYI fryer and grill turn off at 930p, but takes the order. I go to pick it up. No onion rings. We get it home, wrap has onions and the chicken is burnt, pizza was ok. But I definitely wouldn't recommend. Between the attitude and the food. Place was crowded, couple at the bar who may have been regulars becauae they seemed to know most people working there were veey loud and their colorful language may have beLen ok, even funny for a short momen, they were just plain obnoxious after awhile. Damien's has always been one of my favorite places although I haven't been there in years. I was so happy that nothing has changed. The popcorn is delicious and the fried pickles are still the best I've ever had. The beers are ice cold and the service is great. The BLT pizza with pickles was all of our new fave. If you're looking for fancy don't waste your time but if you're looking for a comfortable, laidback experience with ice cold beer, great food and service, make the trip. read more

Food is excellent however I'm writing this as i sit at the table waiting for the server to take our order. (It's Father's Day) they have every table full with only one waitress on and one bartender working. The service is incredibly slow. It's ridiculous that they wouldn't prepare for a busy day. We stopped in here to end our evening last night.. The bar is a very decent size, some nice TV'S to watch some of the games, I would think it is a nice stop during football season.. On the night of my visit, a Juicy Lucy was one of the specials. (a restaurant staple in Minnesota of all places) It is essentially a cheeseburger with the cheese encased in the meat. Since I had recently made my own, I wanted to try Damien's version. Wow, what a disappointment. What I got was two beef patties with melted cheese on top. Nothing special at all, average taste as well. Word to the management: if you are going to run a special, the kitchen staff ought to know how to prepare it. I was hoping for more. Apps came up no problem drinks fine. 45 min later we still had no dinner. Halfway through waiting we added a to go order in. When we finally got our meals we asked were the other order was and again It had never been put in. The waitress dident even come back to our table she had the manager or someone apologize.They told us she was done with her shift yet stayed on even when we left. Great pizza here , they have 1/2 price pizza nights, trivia , meat raffles on some nights . The servers and bartenders are very friendly . They have a good variety on the menu -I got a spicy chicken penne dish that was on special, and it was really good. They also have live entertainment as well on Fridays and Saturdays . Ordered take-out tonight , got a burnt chicken sandwich which exactly 1/2 filled the bun, Cheeseburger club was gross & undercooked. Quality of wait staff has gone downhill over the years. I like to stop off at Damien's on the way home from a stressful day at work. They have okay food and free popcorn but it is not a restaurant that leaves an impression on you either way. One thing that bothers me about Damien's is that it is more a restaurant than a bar, meaning there are no shots, limited mixed drinks and it's really not the best "Party Atmosphere" one may come to expect in a bar. Most of the bartenders and servers are great although some can be unwelcoming and dismissive of customers at times. (Particularly close to last call) There is live entertainment with no cover charge on Friday and Saturday, but from what I have personally observed it's nothing to write home about. They have Mass. Lottery here, as a gambler I have to admit that really makes me like this place more. read more

I've been back alot more since my last review well over a year ago. i thought it was super-clicky the first handful of times went there. like "you-walk-in-and-the-record-stops." but maybe i just didn't like when it was really packed in there....it's probably still clicky, but who knows because i tend to go when its not so packed now.. their pizza is still really good and they actually have cheap drinks (around $6 for a tall bacardi). tuesdays for 1/2 price pizza night is a cheap night to go out, eat and get tipsy. read more

Nope. Insane how awful this place has turned out. Want to be ignored by surly, unfriendly servers? Eat poor quality, over cooked food? This is the place for that... 2 horrible back-to-back experiences where we received exactly those things. Last straw was walking in (with empty tables) only to be ignored by every server on duty, asking the Keno chick if we could sit. Once we sat, we continued to be ignored. We were waiting for 3 others but instead walked about after being ignored for 10 mins and told our friends to meet us elsewhere. Will never return. read more

Always a fun place to go for a cheap but decent meal and fairly priced drinks. Nothing fancy but basic American pub fare well executed and flavorful, usually end up going there almost once a week. The thing to get is the pub style pizzas, they are the best pizzas honestly I have had on the East Coast (do note though that they are totally different style from Greek pizzas or Italian pizzas so if that's your thing, this may not be your cup of tea). Great crunchy crust, perfectly melted cheese. The atmosphere is fun, funky, dive bar feel. Beware though that at dinner time it gets totally packed so be prepared to wait in line. And don't forget the free popcorn - always a good bonus! read more

You almost expect to see ground peanut shells on the floor. You get the picture. It is always crowded and the bar scene is busy. I defy you to find healthy items on this menu. Can't be done. Everything is fried or sauced. I ordered a turkey BLT and it was good but it came with rancid coleslaw. Tried to order mixed drink but after two failed attempts I asked what type of wine they had. No surprise here......they don't have a lot to choose from. My husband had a burger and fries and they were fine. I have been here on Friday nights when the place is jumping and they have live music.
