With your food, you also get 6 side dishes to complement your food. To end it all, they offer you a cold ginger tea that hit the spot! The restaurant itself is quite homey, and it's an authentic Korean spot. I was a bit taken aback at the lack of banchan, though the woman who runs it is quite welcoming and offered small bites of (in her words) kimchi freshly made by her sister. She recommended that we order 1 dish per person, so we opted for five to share. As each item came out, we were quite frankly astonished at the small portion sizes. I don't think anyone would be full off of the beef bulgogi alone - especially when not accompanied by rice - and the kimchi fried rice was surprisingly small as well. On top of that, there was certainly sticker shock at the sky-high prices. The menus we found pictures of online were several years and dollars outdated, so here's what we paid for each item: scallion pancake ($20 for 8 slices), beef bulgogi ($32), kimchi fried rice ($20), bibimbap ($20), and kalguksu ($26). Despite the decent food, I wouldn't come back simply because of the price tag (for small quantities).

For mains, the fried rice was spot-on (flavorful and not greasy at all), and the torched tuna with truffle butter sauce was absolutely divine--such a creative fusion twist! Drinks were solid as well if you're into cocktails. We'll definitely be back--it's become our go-to for date nights or when we crave something a little special.
