A very good Korean food experience! I've had better 만둣국 Mandu Guk (rice cake / dumpling soup), but this one was pretty good. Broth was a bit "thin" and not overly complex. The 즉석김밥 Jeukseok Gimbap was an accidental order since I had meant to point to the 잡채 Japchae. I probably should have spoken rather than pointed, but it was not a bad mistake as the gimbap (kimbap?) was really good. Prices were amazingly good. Atmosphere was fine. Service was friendly and efficient. I'll definitely not hesitate to return!
Delicious food. The kimchi soup was amazing. Probably the best I've ever had. I love that they had hot water and cold water in a dispenser. All food was made fresh to order.
We tried to go here before but got there too late. We tried again and was glad we did. We ordered mandu, tteokboki, chicken katsu, and Kim bap. They were all SO VERY tasty. My favorite was the chicken katsu and kimbap. Service was efficient and friendly. A pitcher of water was brought to our table with two cups and the pitcher was refilled when emptied. Food came out quick. Service was friendly. We parked in the parking lot of the plaza. There were plenty of parking right in front. We even took a mini stroll to the other side of the plaza for boba after eating. Recommend!
Small, local place with big Korean flavors! Carlos/Charles was super nice! I kept ordering food and he was like "I told you it was a lot". He laughed every time he brought another dish of. Lol! He was great! I got so much that I thought I was easily going to have $90-$100 dollar bill. I was shocked when my bill was led than $60. This was a great find and will definitely return for more
So we had not eaten much Korean food before but after this we definitely will! The ladies running the restaurant were super helpful and attentive. We had the Japchae, bulgogi Kimball, bulgogi deobap &the grilled pork bulgogi bowl. The grilled pork bowl had the perfect level of smokiness from being grilled amd everything was super delicious! Highly recommend!
My friend and I came here for lunch on a Saturday! What a pleasant discovery! I've had it on my to go list for a long time and finally went. We got the grilled rice bowls. Omg! It was so good! I got the grilled pork shoulder steak bowl and my friend got the grilled pork bulgogi bowl. The pork shoulder was thick cut and juicy with sauces drizzled over it. The grilled pork bulgogi was already marinated meat. I think we both agreed the pork shoulder was the better bowl. Our bowls came with sides of kimchi and radish. Also got a spam and bulgogi gimbap to go. They were good! A little more expensive than most places for the gimbap. But the rice bowls were good prices.
I had a lovely lunch. The food was wonderful. The service was friendly and great. I'll definitely eat here again.
Great, cheap food with very friendly service by the owner herself! This place is another true hole in the wall, owned and run by the sweetest Korean lady. The outside is not much to look at. The name can be a bit misleading (sounds kinda Spanish), but the food is truly authentic and super affordable. They are known for the delicious gimbap, ranging only $3-$4 each. You can easily get full with 1, or 2 to be completely satisfied ;). Unlike gimbap that you can get from many other places, here they're not packed with bunch of rice. The ingredients are fresh and well seasoned so everything has better flavor. Originally I came here for the popular gimbap, but after looking at the rest of the menu, I couldn't help but order the Grilled Pork Belly with Rice. It's a huge portion with a side salad and fried egg for only $10. You really can't go wrong with this great deal. It's a fairly small restaurant and run mainly by the owner, who's also the cashier. The service might take a little bit of time, so if you're in a rush, just call first to place your order. Gimbap is also great for to go!

I always want to be fair and honest about how I feel before writing any type of opinion that could potentially affect a person's business. I have lost count the number of times I've been here. I have tried every thing on the menu at least once and I must say that it always hits. When I'm sick I get the pork soup and I feel like I'm being healed from the inside out. The bulgogi gimbap is always fresh and it can't be beat for a quick meal. The pajeon is crispy and hot every time. You see all kinds of customers here and that says a lot about how great the food is. Although it's a smaller space, we've always been able to get seated quickly. The service is always quick and even when it's packed they do their best to get you in and out. Hi
Came by on Saturday for lunch and it wasn't too busy - was able to get a table pretty easy. The interior is quaint with wooden tables and feels very orderly and clean! I ordered the Bulgogi Gimbap and the Rice & Pork soup. Starting with the gimbap, it's really solid value! At $5 the interior ingredients are delicious and pair well. For the soup, the broth is sooooo savory, meaty, and hearty. The portion of pork given is generous, and I could really go for this soup any day. Service was nice and polite - glad I was able to come in and try! :) PROS: - solid value options (single digits for many menu items) - gimbap is flavorful, as was the pork and rice soup; very savory - interior is quaint and well organized - polite and friendly service CONS: - none!
Cute, cozy space and yummy Korean comfort food. We ordered tteokbokki (spicy rice cake), scallion pancake, and tuna kimbap. The tteokbokki was a smaller portion than expected, but it was excellent, and at the end of the meal just enough for two people. Scallion pancakes were super flavorful and the kimbap was great too (it was my friend's first time trying!). The owner is very sweet.
Is it possible to give -1 Chicken burnt to a crisp, rice all stuck together and cold--super yuck!! What a waste of money $14 and we had to serve our own water--we were the only ones there and had to wait almost 45 minutes to get our food--really???? read more
Delicious Korean food, at good price and size. The service was friendly and efficient. The ambience was welcoming and stylish. There was a lot of great food selection, and the food came out relatively quickly. I liked the Katsu chicken and Korean pancake. read more

Cute, cozy space and yummy Korean comfort food. We ordered tteokbokki (spicy rice cake), scallion pancake, and tuna kimbap. The tteokbokki was a smaller portion than expected, but it was excellent, and at the end of the meal just enough for two people. Scallion pancakes were super flavorful and the kimbap was great too (it was my friend's first time trying!). The owner is very sweet. read more

Had to take my car for service nearby and decided to order take-out. Found this little gem (thanks to my fellow yelpers ;) and bopped right in. In a shopping plaza, but parking was no problem at all. Was greeted immediately. There were some large photos outside that looked delicious, so I told her I wanted to order everything I saw. Ended up with steamed dumplings, bulgogi kimbap/roll (reviews said it was a must), a spicy pork bowl, AND the short ribs *palm to face*. Yes, I ordered all of that. Lol. Tip. Don't go to ANY restaurant post gym and after sitting at a car dealership for 2 hours. All bad... but turned out oh so good! Received my food in about 20 mins, piping hot and packaged well. By the time I got home I was ready for my own little "eating contest" as my goal was to eat half of everything. Of course, I overestimated myself lol but what I DID eat was amazing! My favorite was the spicy pork bowl. Think I would have enjoyed it even more if takeout heat hadn't cooked my egg all the way through (definitely not a complaint, just confirms the food was hot enough to cook the egg on my way home with it lol). Honestly, though it's the most recommended, my least fave was the kimbap. It was made perfectly! Plenty of ingredients inside that tasted fresh but my personal palate didn't care for the blend. Was kinda too... sweet? For me. I still recommend everyone try it for themselves. But oh the spicy pork??!!!!! Tender, juicy, saucy (which is a huge YES for me!!!). Location: is quaint and not fancy but is comfortable and looked clean. It's easily accessible. Definitely give it a try if you're in the area. read more
Stop by because of a recommendation from a physician. She frequents this restaurant so my wife and I wanted to check it out. The food is really great and made fresh to order. The only issue was children of the workers constantly opening the front door in 100° heat making the entire restaurant overly warm and then sitting down at tables playing their phone at full volume. Stopped by for quick lunch with a friend. My friend recommended me this place and my friend told me their food was good but it was just so so for my taste. I am a picky about foods, specially korean foods. I am a Korean and I can cook well too. I wanted eat ddukbbokki. we ordered ddukbbokki, kalguksu, kimmalri, spicy tuna kimbap but everything was so so to me but kimmalri was interesting and great than other foods. Usually kimmalri was only sweet potato noodle but this place kimmalri was a bit different. Foods came out so fast as fast food restaurant also hot too. Cute place for snack but I wouldn't go back to this place for eat ddukbbokki or kimbap. That dishes was other place better than this place. I had been eaten better elsewhere cuz I eaten kinda like snack korean foods a lot in my whole life. I would go back to this place for other dishes but nothing else. read more

This is only based on kimbap. We ordered the veggie kimbap, and they made it fresh. It was a really good roll, very fresh. We didn't go past the counter, but it seemed like a very authentic place. There was an ahjumma sitting at a table refilling sauces. The guy that checked us out was very friendly. I plan to go back and have a meal. read more

We finally found a go to spot for gimbap. We love how it's cheap but yet filling and delicious. We also fell in love with the jjin mandu (steamed handmade dumplings). I have only tried their bulgogi gimbap, but when I was waiting for my order everyone else's food looked delicious too. It is a very small restaurant, but it had a cute local atmosphere. When I ordered, I expected they would have the gimbap pre-made. It took some time for them to bring out my order, which showed they probably made it fresh. The ratio of rice to filling was perfect. Some places have too much rice and not enough filling, but my gimbap had more filling than rice. It was very flavorful and I will be back again! read more

I found the Damasita storefront after grabbing a couple snacks from the 9 Rabbits bakery located in the same shopping center. All their windows were advertising korean style pancakes and dumplings which immediately pulled me in. I ordered their gimmari, pan fried mandu, and bulgogi kimbap. The gimmari came out first and these were probably my favorite things here. They were little rolls packed full of japchae (Korean stir-fried glass noodles) wrapped in seaweed and deep fried. Fresh out the fryer, these were warm and crispy with each bite filled with sweet and savory noodles. I already love japchae and after trying them wrapped in deep fried form, I just couldn't resist grabbing more off the plate! The pan fried mandu was another tasty and flavorful addition to our meal. The slightly crispy mandu wrapper gave way to a tender and juicy meat filling. The meat filling had plenty of added chives which were a bit overwhelming for some, but I personally enjoyed the intense flavors and aroma. The last item to arrive was the bulgogi kimbap, and it was so worth the wait! The roll was a hefty size, filled with sweet and salty bulgogi, some fish cake, and plenty of fresh and pickled veggies. There were just so many flavors and textures combined into one roll, and it was an instant hit at the table. It was like an entire rice bowl packaged into convenient bite sized morsels. After finishing the kimbap, some of us kept talking about how good it was and how we would definitely order it again. So we did. Right away. And the second round tasted just as delicious as the first! We all enjoyed our time here and it was a perfect place to stop and have some snacks in the middle of the day. They have plenty of entree size meals too, which I'm sure I'll try soon. The restaurant is well lit and cozy with plenty of great art and decorations. The service was super friendly and the ladies running the show were always ready to help and answer questions with smiling faces. read more

We actually came to a place next door but it was closed so we tried Damasita. It was great! I had the bulgogi and rice and it was a lot of food. It came really quick but was fresh and very very tasty. The prices were really reasonable for the quality of food. I'll definitely be back since I work down the road. read more
