Sorry.) with the "yes sir, no sir." He was so polite and it is very hard to find in Dallas these days. The girls there were also very polite. They were even accommodating to my needs. The car's quality: The car's quality was good. No issue. The car's CLEANNESS: Oh helllllll no! The moment I put my hands on the steering wheel I felt it was oily and sticky, the center arm rest part where my right elbow touches was also sticky. Then the same night during sleep my ear was itching so I wake up and look at the mirror and it was inflamed! (INFO: My ear has eczema, so it has compromised skin to begin with; therefore, it doesn't take bacteria well.) Then I recalled I was touching my ears with the hands that I touch the steering wheel with. So the next day I learned my lesson and wiped down the steering wheel with 75% alcohol wipes. And LORD BEHOLD! It was so dirty! So dirty that it took multiple wipes to get it to not turning black. And the steeling wheel felt dry and clean again after all the wiping. The charges: No surprise charges, inspection was smooth. I will use Enterprise again BUT I will bring disinfecting wipes........

I got a Jeep which was clean and roomy. It was easy to drop off too. The workers are always friendly and never fail to ask about your experience. They also confirmed how I want my receipt. I asked a question about the deposit, wasn't my ideal answer but it was answered. Just didn't understand why I couldn't use a different card to hold the deposit. Then she proceeded to ask me for my flight details and wouldn't accept the screenshot that I provided. Then asked for me to pull it up again and I grabbed my phone to which she said she wasn't going to help me and walked away. She accused me of "snatching" my phone away returning with a manager. I mentioned the upgrade and had to mention it twice. Seemed as if the was not the case as it was still in the same category and I smells badly like urine. I'm also beside myself that she then told me I could use the other card when I returned the car..... why do I even need to do that if I am returning the car? Not sure if there was an issue with others prior, but there was no reason to be short with someone who was simply not understanding what she was saying. Simply a very poor experience.

We did not have the best experience. The service was not exactly up to the normal. When a customer asks a question there should be an answer. Twice the woman was short with us and then walked away and said she wasn't going to assist. She did return and help us and even though we mentioned the upgrade we had to ask for a second time. We rented a Chevy Malibu and got the car quickly enough, but before we hit the street the car started jerking and then stalled on us with a notice on the dash saying to shift to neutral. My wife restarted the car and we got about halfway around the block before jerking abruptly to a stop as the engine shut down again. We managed to nurse it back around to the return side of the lot where we were told they would do a vehicle swap for us. They were totally casual about it like this happens all the time, but all I could think was we were about to drive across Dallas on the freeways out to Rockwall. If the car had died on the 635 we would have been screwed for sure, or even better yet seriously hurt in a crash as the car shuts down on a freeway. I called their customer service department today to discuss it with them, as I lost sleep last night thinking about how bad it could have been. They said they were going to escalate it to their management team, but I haven't heard back from anyone yet. In the meantime my wife noticed the check engine light has come on in the replacement (you guessed it, Chevy Malibu) and won't go off. So I'm just feeling super uneasy driving this car around and will certainly avoid renting from Alamo in the future as they are clearly not servicing their fleet. My family's safety is worth more than saving a few bucks on a sketchy rental.
