I met a colleague here for dinner and it was fabulous. This is not a fancy place and that's okay. Order at the register and they bring it to you. That worked out well. It didn't take too long of looking at the menu to decide on the beef brisket plate. It didn't take long and it was delivered to the table. A really good portion and with my sides of cole slaw and fried okra. Plenty of food here and it was delicious. I'm not big on BBQ but my family enjoys it. I decided to come here sure to all the reviews to order something mainly for my family. I looked through the menu and ordered something for myself as well. Came during lunch time and it was crowded. Not a big place so you have to scoot around to not be in the way but you can manage. Staff greets you as you walk in and very helpful and friendly when ordering. I ordered the food to go and it came out within a decent time. Food ordered: Whole slab of ribs, mac n cheese, bbq chicken nachos, brisket dinner, beans, fries, peach cobbler, hushpuppies. I'm so glad I decided to eat bbq with this because this food was delicious. I have never wanted to go back to a bbq resturant as I have with this place. They have great food here! Last night I tried the Cuban sandwich- omg terrific. The bread was perfect and just right amount of pickles plus plenty of meat. My side was the applesauce- laugh if you want but it was so good. Appeared to be homemade because it was nice and chunky. I also got a small house salad which is not listed on their menu but should be. My salad wasn't the freshest but it was doable. Hubs got the ribs which he really enjoyed. They were very tender and good flavor despite having a glaze on them which he prefers dry rub. We ordered at counter and sat down outside. Our food was there in no time. This was our first time to Dallie's. The restaurant isn't really big , and they were really crowded at lunch time. The good news is that I just heard that they will be expanding the restaurant. Even with the crowd, our food came out really fast. We got the BBQ Nachos, Cuban Sandwich, and the Fire & Ice Fried Pickles. The nachos had a twist, in that they were served on Billy Goat Kicker chips. I thought this worked out well, They added a zip to the overall flavor. The pulled pork was tender and shredded well. There were plenty of toppings for all the chips. The Cuban was also delicious. I really enjoyed the ham that they used. It was really tender. The pulled pork was tasty on it as well. I came here for the first time before Easter holiday. I was completely unsure what to get for my wings, but a cashier named Bill (or Will?) suggested to get dry rub wings as I can experiment with the sauces and he is not wrong! I did try every sauce and typically I don't like trying new things. I enjoyed my wings and I appreciate the hand wipes provided after my meal. We ordered the Cubana with baked beans, pulled pork nachos, and the pulled pork platter with fried pickles and hush puppies. We split all of this and and saved the pulled pork platter meat to take home to make a pork salad for dinner. Let's start with the nachos. They were very different as they were on ripple potato chips. The nachos had baked bean and pulled pork and a really good cheese melted on it. The Cuban sandwich was very tender and delicious. I would highly recommend this. The pulled pork platter was also very tender and tasty. The fried pickles are delicious. Definitely order these as well as the hush puppies. First time here, we were in the area and looking for a place to eat and BBQ sounded good. It's an unassuming place in a strip mall sort of area, with a patio on the side. It was a hot day so we decided to eat in. You order and pay at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Inside, the ambience is casual, like a local bar. Anyway, I decided to try their Ultimate Reuben sandwich (beef and pork belly pastrami, Thousand Island dressing, kraut and swiss on rye) and my wife went for the regular pulled pork sandwich. The food was delivered quickly from the kitchen with a friendly smile. The reuben was amazing but be forewarned it's messy and the bottom slice of bread just couldn't hold up to the ingredients. The provided knife and fork came in handy. My side was the pit baked beans and it was also very delicious, with a little bit of what I believe to be pulled pork mixed in. My wife's regular sized pulled pork sandwich had more meat than she could handle so I graciously offered to help her eat it. We both really enjoyed it, her with the Sweet Hope sauce and me with the Voodoo sauce (they have six sauces to choose from). Her side was the Mac n- Cheese which she enjoyed but said it was a bit too spicy for her. I didn't think it was spicy at all but it does have pepper jack cheese in it so sensitive palates beware. If we're ever back in the area, we'll be sure to return. I'd like to try other items on the menu but to be honest, the Ultimate Reuben was so good, I may not be convinced to try anything else. read more

Traveling through St. Louis and couldn't pass up the chance for some STL barbecue. Found this spot on Yelp and decided to give it a try -- and wow, am I glad we did. This place is seriously good. My husband ordered the Ultimate Reuben and said it was hands-down the best Reuben he's ever had. I went with the smoked turkey, and honestly, it was the best turkey I've ever tasted -- incredibly juicy, super tender, and perfectly smoked. They offer two portion sizes, which is a nice touch. We kept seeing rave reviews about the baked beans, so of course we had to try them. Definitely worth it. They've got a little kick, but they're pure goodness. And I have to call out the sauces -- my favorite was the Papa Joe's Original. Sweet, tangy, and just perfect with everything on the plate. He was in the mood for BBQ and picked Dalie's. He had the chopped pork and brisket with a side of potato salad. He said it was all good. I had the pulled pork (yum) and fried pickles (soooo yummy). We love fried pickles, but these were different. The pickles were sweet, which I don't usually like, but the added spice made them surprisingly delicious! All of the employees were so friendly and accommodating, and the owner treated us like we were friends. If we're ever in St Louis again, we will definitely go to Dalie's! read more

We had Dalie's cater our poolside wedding last weekend. It was an outstanding experience from first contact with Emily, and the tasting to a smooth delivery and fantastic food! Everyone LOVED the ribs! The coleslaw is so good as it's not a heavy mayo, but leans into mustard and vinegar. I believe there were about 50 of us there for the event. The service was great! It was a seated five course meal with a drink pairing. The staff were wonderful! I'd have lost my mind keeping up with it all, but they did it with smiles and were very pleasant. The food was good! They made things that aren't typical of their menu and did a nice job. We decided to take our food to go and they supplied us with plenty of napkins/ Utensils. $20 bucks for pick two meats and two sides. We ended up with their pulled pork and brisket. I ordered a brisket plate with coleslaw and sweet potato fries. Husband ordered the last of their ribs and half a chicken. A lot of food for $53 pre-tip. We brought home the rest of our food and had them for lunch the next day. I like their BBQ. I tried the ribs and the chicken along with my brisket. I liked all, but the ribs were the best out of the 3 meats we tried. He had some baked beans for a side dish. They were good, but my favorite was the coleslaw. It was creamy and quite flavorful. We went here for lunch with my officemates and the moment I entered the place I know I'm going to get a good barbecue.. The ambiance is great that the smell of good bbq is in the air.. I thought they had burnt ends but they don't so I just went with the brisket plate with mac & cheese and baked beans. And there's not a long line, so we're lucky as my friend told me they are really popular that line builds up all the way outside. The brisket is OK, I smoke my own brisket and so I find their brisket and actually any other mass produced brisket to be of lesser quality that what I make. But I would say it's not bad at all. I see a little of smoke ring, the meat is juicy, I just felt there's something missing in the taste, but hey, I did not use any of their sauces which for me means I'm eating a good bbq. The sides is what really made me give them 5 stars. That I would say is the best baked beans I have ever had.. no kidding.. it's not dry and it's full of flavor that is not just plainly bbq sauce in it. There's certainly magic done in their beans. There are shreds of meat in there and it's not overwhelming the beans. This will be my go to side when we come back here. The mac & cheese is right there at the top for me.
