Great beers and a friendly vibe, we stopped in for some after work wind-down and stayed until the place closed for the night. Lots of great conversation with the friendly owner while the four TVs up on the wall were tuned in to golf and baseball and basketball. Great beers, tilted towards heavier styles. I'm more of a pilsner drinker but settled for the Cream Ale and the Irish Red this evening. Both were excellent. Mackenzie doesn't have food other than some pretzels to purchase. But you can sure walk down the strip mall and get some Sugarfire BBQ to go with your beverage! Fun place, cool feel to it and delicious frosty brews that are made on site. I hate to do it to them, but this spot is pretty stale. Good beer, honest to god good beer. But it feels like I'm in a closet of a middle class house. They don't even have ice. Only beer and wine which is standard for a brewery, but atleast offer some ice for Chardonnay. Probably wouldn't come back but it's clean, and the service is really great. read more

A nice little brewery in Valley Park. Solid beer options but sadly no ciders, seltzers, etc. non-beer items. They sometimes have pizza but there is no schedule posted regarding when this happens, so most of the time its BYO food. The Belgian beers were our favorite. read more

For its second full day of operation, MacKenzie Brewing is running smoothly. The beer selection is really good, and there's something for everyone to try. Wine is available too if beer isn't your thing. MacKenzie specializes in Belgian beers and higher gravity options - right now the highest gravity beer on tap is 8.2%, and it's a double IPA. There are 7 wall-mounted TVs, which are great for catching the big game. The branding is pretty cool too, and isn't something I've seen before. They were out of the beer I wanted to try, but I will be back to try it - hopefully soon! read more

Mackenzie Brewing is a welcome addition bringing quality craft-brewed beer to the Valley Park area. Located in a small strip mall just off I-44 and 141 Mackenzie is located right between Sugarfire BBQ and Psghettis Pasta & Sandwiches, which I will talk more about later. Mackenzie Brewing has a heavy focus on Belgian and High Gravity beers. One of my favorite beers here has to be the Belgian Quad, which clocks in at a whopping 12.5% ABV, although, despite the high ABV, it's still quite smooth. In addition to the Belgian and High Gravity beers, you might find an occasional surprise beer that you otherwise woudln't expect; recently, mine was the Tahitian Vanilla Porter and California Dreaming, which is their DDH West Coast Style IPA. One downside about Mackenzie is that there is currently no food service; however, you can walk next door or call and order Sugarfire BBQ and Psghettis Pasta & Sandwiches and bring it into the tap room. Overall this is the perfect trifecta, beer, bbq, and pasta. There is something for everyone at Mackenzie. read more

This place could be so great. We have come here about 4 times and we always wait several months in between visits hoping for improvement. I feel that it needs comfortable seating areas as the place feels cold. Service is okay but not friendly. A bartender that is engaging and says things like "hi" "how are you" would really help. It's just really sad as it could be a great place. read more

The beer is delicious. There are choices for everyone. They have light beer to stouts . The quality is superb.

We had a party of 5 reserved. The bartender Stephanie has great customer service. It has a great atmosphere. They do not typically serve food which is fine because you can bring or have delivered your own. We will be looking forward to trying their next batches of beers soon. read more

If you're a Chimay red label fan like me, you gotta go to this brewery. Jeff modeled his Belgian Dubbel, "The Doob", after Chimay red, and to my way of thinking, improved it. His is drier, without the sugary sweetness, but with all the flavor and then some. We were recently in town for a few days visiting relatives, who live just a mile or two away, and I found myself running over there for a glass or two every opportunity I got. Can't wait to go back in September! I've been a homebrewer and craft beer fan since the late 80's, and The Doob is hands down the best American craft-brewed Belgian Dubbel (heck, Belgian any kind) that I've had. First time here, even got to meet the owner. We were very happy with the good quality of the beers and the cleanliness of the bar overall. I had the Belgian Whit and husband had the Rye IPA, he really enjoys a great IPA and needless to say this was one of them. I will come back. My buddy and I stopped by here on the way home. It was a new shop that had hardly anyone there. The beer was excellent and we spent a couple hours sampling the variety. The owner chatted us up on and off when we had questions and the waitresses loved their jobs. As for the beer... is was fantastic. They had an American wheat that I'm pretty sure my wife will love (will find out when I get home). Their American brown and Belgian dubbel were both top notch. The venue was contemporary and very clean. It's right next door to sugar fire for food. This new place is a gem in Fenton. I'm glad we were referred here and will be back. read more

Awesome little brewery making some delicious craft beers. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The place is extremely clean. It said they are celebrating there 3rd anniversary so I am assuming most of the time they where open they where dealing with the struggles of covid. Give them a shot and spend some money locally. You can bring your own food from one of the great restaurants in the area and it also appears they do bingo and other fun actives throughout the week. We will definitely be back.
