The place itself is very clean, the service is very personable and friendly and they have good sandwiches. I've had two already and will definitely be coming back again to try a few of the other ones on the menu. The meat as you would expect from a butcher shop is very good!

The turkey blt, to go! Huge, and delicious!!

This is my review after 1 experience, but I must say... it was a great experience and I CANT wait to get back to this place... What really bothers me the most is that I have lived around 5 minutes away for the last two years and I am JUST NOW trying The Corner Butcher.... what took me so long?! Anyways, my husband and I were having my parents over for dinner and I wanted to make them some bacon wrapped filets so we decided to stop by this place. The butcher shop I normally frequent is out in st charles and I wasn't really in the mood to make a trip out that way. I'm glad I wasn't because I found a better (so far) butcher shop that is super close! The filets were priced right, about the same per pound as the grocery store- but they were WAY higher quality. I even slightly overcooked the filets and they were still super tender and full of flavor seasoned with just some salt and pepper. I love that they have about 10 sandwich options for lunch. My favorite deli is in the city and I don't make it out there too often, so it's exciting I found somewhere close that is also very tasty. I really LOVED the sandwich I ordered. It was the turkey BLT and it was delicious. It was also so big I could only eat half in one sitting! My husband ordered the gooey Louie, which is ham, pepperoni, and caramelized onions in between two grilled cheese sandwiches. He loved it too. I'm so happy we found this place because the meat from the counter is delicious and priced well, and the sandwiches are also wonderful. They also have some prepared frozen meals, a few produce options, and some other stuff as well. They even have a tap open to customs to help themselves to if you're of age! How cool! All in all, I can't wait to keep stopping by this place. I think it's going to be one of our regular spots for lunch and meat!

Awesome meat selection but I go for the lunch! Their sandwiches are fantastic! And the staff are so sweet. Great cook and butcher as well!

For the last year I have been working in the Fenton area quite a bit, and it seemed to only have fast food, which I will not buy. I started looking for referrals and local spots. I was fortunate enough to hear about The Corner Butcher!!! Don't hesitate if you are in the area to try them for lunch, deli, small grocery! There's something for everyone in the family and you will leave with a smile without a doubt!

Wally's is basically like a miniature Beaver gas station, and it has become part of our Six Flags…read moretradition! There are so many gas pumps that you should never have to wait for one, and once you walk inside, there's a whole experience waiting for you. They have a similar setup to the Beaver location, with gourmet popcorn, beef jerky, pulled pork, brisket, smash burgers, chicken fingers, hot dogs, and so much more. And, most of the food is pretty reasonably priced. Whenever we go to Six Flags in this area, we have a tradition of stopping at Wally's on the way there to grab dinner. Then, when we leave Six Flags, we'll stop again to get a drink for the drive home. It's usually much more affordable than eating inside the amusement park, and there are so many options that everyone can find something they like. This weekend, our group had a little bit of everything. We had someone get a hot dog, someone got chicken fingers, others had smash burgers, chopped brisket, and pulled pork. Everyone agreed it was "bussin," which, according to the high schoolers, means it was really good! They also have these kettle chips that come in a bag that doesn't look particularly huge, but somehow there are SO many chips inside. We passed the bag around the car and still had leftovers for the ride home. The girls also had to get a slushie, which was especially refreshing because it was so hot outside. And since they have their own bakery, I grabbed a cookie, and it did not disappoint. There's also plenty of shopping, including blankets, T-shirts, postcards, stickers, and all kinds of other souvenirs. They even have their own hot sauce! This definitely isn't a place where you're going to run in, grab something, and immediately leave. There's so much to look at that you're going to spend some time wandering around. For us, Wally's has become just as much a part of the Six Flags experience as the amusement park itself. It's something we look forward to both on the way there and on the way home, and this weekend was no exception!

I always manage to find a spot on the gift shop side entrance, even when it's busy…read more Because folks were there for the food area. LOL. The employees were making batch after batch of the different entrees, and cleaning well between each. So, I did wait a few minutes for the sliced brisket to be on deck. BUT once the meat started going on the bun, a staff member spotted me and asked how many I needed. Just the one. He had it wrapped up and in my hand in no time. The food was good. Everything looked clean. The iced coffee bar hit the spot.

Mr. J's BBQ is a BBQ stand on the NE corner of The Kirkwood Farmers Market…read more You can find him there on Thursday and Saturday. He serves great St. Louis backyard style BBQ prepared in a couple barrel pits. He prepares several meats every day he is there and has a number of sides. Today I tried his ribs, his brisket, his pulled chicken, and chicken thigh. All had good smoke flavor and were well cooked and seasoned. I really enjoyed the chicken thigh and the ribs. Don't get me wrong the other items were good, but I enjoyed those 2 the most. I'm not a fan of pulled chicken, I've noted that previously, but Mr. J's pulled chicken was right good. He puts a little of his se'lah gold sauce with it and some sautéed peppers and onions. That makes for good flavor. The reason for the 4 not 5 stars is minor. I had several slices of brisket on my plates and the first slice I picked up while nicely smokey and well seasoned was tough. However, every other slice was perfectly tender indicating a proper cook. I only tried his Se'lah Original Sauce. But let me tell you he has a wonderful quintessential St. Louis style BBQ sauce in that. Man is it good. I get to KFM often during the summer. I'll be back by for sure. Y'all enjoy!!

The ribs were perfectly smoked using on site smokers. The ribs were very, very tender. I didn't count the number of ribs on my rib plate but it was very generous compared to a sit-down restaurant. He offers a variety of sides and I chose the potato salad and the coleslaw. Both were excellent, with decent sized portions.
