Ever since this Daiso place opened, it made traveling to a farther location such as Mitsuwa in Costa Mesa much less of a hassle to get to. They gave a great variety of random necessities that one would need. And many delicious snacks and drinks! There is a card minimum purchase i believe and there are no refunds. The employees are very friendly and helpful. Parking has never been an issue yet because the complex isn't as busy. I enjoy going here after eating around nearby such as Gomen for some cheap desserts. Or to buy useful kitchen gadgets for cheap! read more

This is a really big Daiso and i like that half of the store is glass and makes a really nice environment. I came to get dog shampoo and doggie bags and their pet section was very small. The girl at the register said they were just low on supplies but.... There was really no room on the shelf for more supplies really. read more

Daiso's are a great shop. Everything is $1.50 unless otherwise marked. What makes this different from $1 stores is that it is really clean, organized, and has stuff you actually want. Every time I walk in, I find a full hand basket. This particular chain seems to have less variety than the other shops I've been to. But no worries, still a fun place to shop. You definitely will walk out with items you weren't thinking about but thought it would be cool to own, especially since it's only $1.50. read more

I love shopping at Daiso! It's like an upgraded version of the dollar tree with so many inexpensive items! All of the Japanese items in the store look so great for being so inexpensive. I spent so much on school and art supplies here, especially on markers! I buy permanent markers here because there is a wide selection and they're cheaper than the art store. Each visit here has been a treasure hunt for me, and I always leaving the store with a bunch of stuff that I didn't even know I wanted or needed. read more

I am happy that they finally open the store here, only a block away from my house. I've love Daiso now and then. The opening day was super crowded, but the staff are all nice. Nothing bad about their attitude happen. They also carried more items than other stores since I found many things that I cannot found in others. They are still under construction for the sign but it doesn't matter. read more

This location is bigger than others and there's always parking. The store is tidy, organized, and stocked up. Good spot to pass time or shop for cute stationary, Asian snacks, and cheap make up. read more

I like the Daiso stores but very bothered by this particular location. Instead of replenishing their bag supplies they are trying to sell their small resizable bags for $1.50. People go there to save money not spend more on unneeded bags. read more

This is a medium sized Daiso. They have a good selection of items and the things are well organized. I think they could do better with food selection. My brother bought some noodles, but they all tasted really bad... I think they have more arts and craft items than most other smaller scale daisos. read more

This place has some pretty cute knick knacks especially for the younger kids. I took my neices and nephews in today to pick up some stuff. We had a basket full of stuff and our total was around $43 so I was absolutely shocked and annoyed when the cashier refused to accept my payment of $100. Outside is still under construction so I don't know why they didn't wait until everything was completed to have their grand opening. Any who, went on a Sunday afternoon and there was ample parking. This Daiso seems a bit longer in length compared to the one in Cerritos. My fave items to get here are the candy varietals, green tea Pocky's (cheaper than Mitsuwa), and car window covers (they have cutesy a strawberry design). My mom also likes the sink stoppers and vegetable shavers (make sure it's made in Japan for higher quality knifes). As with all Daiso's no returns though, and cash/debit only unless over $10. read more

This is a smaller version of daiso in Gardena but they've got the basics there (Japanese all $1.50 store unless otherwise indicated). Quality is not bad at all. I've bought stationary, kitchen stuff, nail polish, containers of all sorts, etc and they are all still working just fine. Remember though, all items are final purchase. No minimum for debit card purchase but there's minimum for credit card. read more

This place is a bit smaller than other location but thank goodness it's a lot closer to my house now. Pretty much every thing is $1.50 except some item can be more than that. They accept credit cards purchase with $10 or more, it else they charge a fee. There's no fee in using debit card. Great place to buy gifts for friends. read more

I love Daiso Japan because of all the goodies that they have in stock. But the minus part of this place is how bright the store is. I don't think they need to turn the inside light on until the sun start setting. My hubby and I had a headache from the sun hitting the glass wall shinning into our face. Just awesome! I love Daiso!!!! This is one of my favorite stores. There is soo many ridiculously cute things here, and some really smart things I would haven never thought of! If you are looking for good quality stationary for real cheap than this is the place to go. If you are trying to find squishes or other cute cell-phone accessories, than you should go! Several in close proximity of each other. That's convenient. The product's quality is what you pay for. Some are good deals and worth, however, some you may a well buy at 99 cents store for 50 cents less if going that way anyway. It's really amusing how if in a cute store setting like this, one would buy here items that are sold at 99 cents store. While if placed in 99 cents store, same item would go unnoticed. I love Daiso, and so do my young cousins. The first time I came in, I was surprised by the selection, novelty, and prices. Lots of cute Japanese stationary, make-up for the girls, Japanese erasers, etc. My mom loves the dishes, tea pot, and storage containers. She bought so much the last time, but only uses a quarter of it. You can literally be lost for a day here, so it's a good spot for baby-sitting or a cheap date LOL ;). read more
