$1 fishes, wow they are cheaper than at Petco
    Rosie P.

I guess it is true that Sunday is a better day to come and get betta fish for $1. When I went on Monday, there was no cheap betta fishes ($3,5,&10). Don't get the wrong idea that these $1 betta fishes are bad or unhealthy. We brought three of them and they are fighters. All their fins are healthy and intact. We tried to put them together and it was one big mistake, they would tear each other fins up. They are still alive and well in separated bowls. It is not fun to watch them fight because some will get so scared and looking like in pain. We have 5 $1 betta fishes in total, one is super smart and does tricks for me. This one does not like to fight and is cool. Another one flare at the toy fish i got it and tries to beat it up lol. The prices for the fishes are cheaper than Pecto and PetSmart.

This place is disgusting. Look at how they treat turtles

Rude owner. Over priced fish. Very unorganized. Price on tank doesn't match the price he'll give you.

Also got a uv protected Hurley long sleeve swim shirt (quick dry), and a reebok dry-fit in a color that I don't have (pretty much all I wear on cruises now, due to its ease of hand washing and line dry). Obviously selection is all dependent on what was available to buy from other retailers/manufacturers. The HQ is located in Ontario, CA (deep in the Inland Empire), and it has three locations now in SoCal, including this one in Westchester.

In today's visit, I saw a lot of inventory of clothing for men, women, and kids. They even have a small section of furniture and electronics. They had some kitchen appliances and toys as well but sometimes they are in the original packaging or you can tell they have been returned. Overall this store is generally well organized but one downside is that pricing can sometimes be confusing or inconsistent. Sometimes the prices aren't on the product or on the shelf so you have to bring it up to the register. Therefore, it's not always easy to check whether you're getting the best deal without doing your own price check on your phone. Sometimes I have found the same item with different tagged pricing so you have to grab the correct one and head to the register.

Woo-hoo! I had been wanting stainless steel kitchen scissors, but I refuse to pay the $20 price I had been seeing in the chain stores. I found a great pair here for less than half that price. The kind that allows you to separate the blades to ensure a thorough washing so there won't be any food bacteria buildup between the blades. I even found, and purchased, some small glass soft boiled egg holders. Who sells those anymore? They each have a removable silicone collar for easy washing. A small detail, but appreciated. I had to walk through the aisles twice to make sure I didn't miss anything because there were so many items to see. And if you can't find what you're looking for, just ask the owners for help. They will be more than happy to help you. So, I found a good selection, fair reasonable pricing, offered by a couple of very fine people. I got what I needed and I supported a local merchant. I'd say that was a win-win.
